That set didn't specifically refer to connecting to other sets though. Regardless, I'm still excited that LEGO is saying that, so at least they're (presumably) thinking about Gringotts!

That seems unlikely because this wave seems to be a reset from the previous wave...but who knows. I'm hoping this means we get an official reveal tomorrow!

Why would it say "combine it with other sets" if they aren't announcing Gringotts until next year? Have they ever referred to future sets like that?

lego_fan_news posted it on their story first, which is where account with 3 posts took it from. Then lego_fan_news made an actual post for it. But I agree that we shouldn't assume it's true, considering they say in their story that they're not sure about it.

That would be amazing if it's true. They did say that they just heard a rumor and they're not sure if it's true though. Also hope the price stays at $400 if that's the case.

I just managed to snag the 2010 Bellatrix minifigure from Mercari and man, LEGO had done such great job with it! I don't have Attack on the Burrow yet, but I can't wait to immediately replace that sad excuse for a Bellatrix minifigure with this

None of the DPCI's show up for the new sets

I tried calling my Target to ask if they knew when the new sets were coming or if they could confirm availability, and they pretty much said they had no idea. They get shipment trucks every day but won't be able to know if they have it until it becomes available online

Totally random, but if people are free/down and if we can pick a good time for most timezones, we should do a group build of DA together. We could do it over Zoom and maybe build a couple bags together while chatting. I've only been here for a few months, but it would be nice to put faces to some of these usernames

Lol I can't imagine, I only recently got out of my dark ages so I've only heard that it happened from others. The good thing is that if they delay the GWP until a few months later, it won't be exclusive to purchasing DA (as opposed to something like the mini batmobile GWP where you had to buy the larger batmobile). So as long as you have something to buy, you won't miss out. I thought so too (I live like 20 min way). But when the Grand Piano came out there was a huge line of people already there before me and I missed it by one person

This is why I'm waiting to buy The Burrow and some of the other 2020 sets in case a sweet GWP pops up a month or two later. In 2018, the Hogwarts D2C was released in August (for VIP) and the Diagon Alley GWP was in November, so people who bought the D2C on release day didn't know about or get the GWP. My plan is to order online as soon as it's available, go in store the next morning, and cancel the online order if I get it in store . The bot isn't easy to set up manually, but I can look into adding more location support by the time Sept. 1st rolls around! DM me if you have any questions about it

I over-prepared for the moment DA comes out - I created a bot that will notify me the minute it's available to purchase . Happy to share it with anyone if they're interested - it only looks at the US website for now though. I used it to track the NES and Grand Piano when they both came out and interestingly enough, they were actually available a few minutes before midnight. So you never know.
