It's unlikely, but they might still come with normal hairpieces. Looks like Luna comes with a normal hairpiece that isn't shown on the leaflet.
-
Fred and George have different torso and face prints, they honestly both look amazing! Also love the leg and foot printing on the trio.
-
Leaflet is out!!! Still kind of grainy but it's there. lucky_lego_store on ig

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this already but, to those disappointed about Rita Skeeter not being in the CMF, there's still a small chance she'll show up in DA if they include the Daily Prophet office (or at least a booth).
-
If DA also gets revealed today this thread is going to explode
-
Omg I literally didn't see the gambling booth until now ?, yeah it's almost definitely a ticket then. Weird to include the map because at that point they didn't have it, but I'm not complaining.
-
The other hand, the small orange thing. Skiving snackbox seems plausible, but that wouldn't make sense if they have the map.
-
Does anyone know what's in Fred (or George's) right hand?

For those in the US who still haven't gotten the Astronomy Tower yet (like me lol), Zavvi has it for 5% off and free shipping. I held out for this long in hopes to get VIP points from LEGO.com, but I can't resist anymore!

Honestly, as much as I've wanted more of DA to leak, it would've diminished the excitement we'll get when the set gets revealed soon. The two minifigure leaks we got were basically confirmation that DA exists and it'll be minifig scale, but I love the fact that we don't know anything outside of that (and the price of course). I've only been following this thread for a couple months, but I can't imagine how DA reveal day will feel for people who have been here for longer
-
I was thinking the same thing, but I looked at the 2018 August calendar (which came out before the Hogwarts D2C was announced) and it had a section that said "VIPs get access to a new exclusive LEGO set".

Ooh, I already pre-ordered The Burrow from LEGO.com when it was available for a brief amount of time. I wonder if I should cancel that and order from Target instead. Who's going to get it first? Also, speaking of pre-ordering sets in the US, I created a Facebook messenger bot that notifies me when any of the set's status changes on LEGO.com. I've been using it to track sets that come in stock, but also sets that I want to pre-order as soon as they become available (like the 2020 wave of HP sets). Send me a PM if you're in the US and want to give it a try

I'm not sure as I've never done it before, but presumably buying a full box is the same price if not cheaper than the standard $4/minifigure. If that's the case, if someone buys a box and only wants one of each, I'd be willing to take the second set of 16 off their hands. Or I could buy a box and ship the set of 16 to someone else.
-
Would people in the US be willing to buy and split boxes of CMFs? I'm not interested in a full box but I want all 16 unique figs without having to go in store and feel them .
-
Attack on the Burrow changed back to "Coming Soon" in the US.
-
I actually kind of liked the way it looked for the Mickey/Minnie D2C that we just saw the box art for. I think with a set like DA, the set will be colorful and "magical" enough to make the box look good despite the dark background.
-
I'll eat a minifigure if it's micro-scale, lol. I can see it being larger than minifig scale (like the Star Wars UCS ships), but that also seems pretty unlikely to me if they really want to capture more of DA than the old $150 set.
-
This looks amazing! Honestly way better than I expected, considering the differences in roof colors. I really hope we get a set next year consisting of the towers/bridge that sit around the clock tower in your pic.
-
Because I'm in the US and have no idea when I'm getting these new sets haha, I just snagged a sealed Beauxbatons Carriage for $30 from Mercari (after using a $5 coupon). I was a bit hesitant about getting it (mainly just wanted the figs) but for $30 I couldn't say no!
-
I couldn't agree more with this. I recently came out of my dark ages (after a decade) and just found myself way more drawn to the new HP sets instead of the SW ones. And this is coming from someone who grew up with mostly SW sets and only 1 HP set over the years (2010 Hagrid's Hut).
-
Highly likely tbh, this and a Battle of Hogwarts courtyard set would be two great additions to the modular Hogwarts

I made the decision at the beginning of quarantine to go for the minifigure scale sets after watching a bunch of reviews of the microscale castle and I have no regrets. The exterior of the big castle is obviously more impressive and detailed, but all of the minifigures and different rooms that come with the playsets are really nice to have and look at. There are countless references and Easter eggs that are really awesome to discover as a lifelong HP fan. Also, it's nice to have something to look forward to adding to over the next couple years (the castle extensions) vs a set that you build and display once and probably don't touch for several years.

I guess people are annoyed because there was a countdown, but oh well. Thanks for confirming it!
-
Same here haha, especially considering there was a whole discussion on here last week about what it could be other than DA
-
Ignoring Kingnono, was DA itself ever confirmed? It was highly likely but never actually confirmed by anyone
