DA COMING IN SEPTEMBER!!!

Me as I decide if it's worth importing the new sets from Europe or not

I'm just basing it on the most recent D2C sets that didn't get delayed in the US (Haunted House, Lamborghini, Monkie Kid). There's still a chance that future D2C sets are delayed though, who knows.

Welp, looks like we might actually get the D2C before the summer wave in the US haha. It seems like the D2C sets aren't being affected by delays.

Looks like some other sets which had release dates also say "Coming Soon" on shop.lego.com, like the Razor Crest.

Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but if it changed from "August 1st" to "Coming Soon" that makes me think that it's delayed. Otherwise, why wouldn't they have a new release date?

In all likelihood, I think that's what I'll end up doing, especially considering how much people here are loving it. I also really want Privet Drive, but I have a feeling that one will go on sale at some point.

Yeah this is fair, if I was ordering all or most of the sets at once then I'd also do it. I like spreading my purchases out though, cause I know I'll build them too quickly if I have them all at once haha.

Yeah I meant waiting till August when they're released. I can definitely see them doing double VIP around then, but if not I'm probably going to buy just the AT when it releases (to connect to the rest of my Hogwarts) and wait for the rest to go on sale or for LEGO to have a promotion. In the meantime, I still have a couple wave 1 sets to build since I was late to the game ?.

Am I the only one here that doesn't really mind waiting another month ?

Not sure if this is still the case, none of the LEGO stores in my area (Washington DC) have any of the recently released sets in the US (Hogwarts Student Pack, Lamborghini, Haunted House, A-Wing, etc.). Maybe by August though they'll be getting shipments more often.

Would be awesome to get these two sets: a smaller set with Harry wearing a non-ripped sweater and Dumbledore in the Mirror of Erised room (my favorite scene in the movie if not in the entire series), and a larger set with scenes from the finale as others have mentioned (fluffy, chess set, final room) including a Harry with the ripped sweater.

Yep, these scenes are too iconic for LEGO to completely skip over them

This is weirdly specific but I hope we get a new Harry minifigure in this outfit at some point. There are so many iconic scenes from PS where he's wearing that sweater.

Good to see the thread back! So I went to Target to get the Hogwarts Express since they just restocked, and I noticed my box has a sticker of the age range, piece count, etc. pasted over where it usually is on the box (see pic below). I haven't taken it off, but I don't think the piece count is listed underneath the sticker. Is Target getting international copies of the sets because the US/Mexico factories aren't operating? Where in the US do you live? I'm on the east coast and it's nearly $50 USD in shipping so it makes it cost more than retail

i just called a nearby LEGO store that just opened up today, apparently they're already getting swamped with calls about the bigger sets (MF and Hogwarts Castle) lol. Luckily he said they have plenty of first wave HP sets so I don't need to worry, and that they're getting a new shipment of stuff in next week. Not sure if that shipment will include the student pack though.

For those in the US, is the Hogwarts students pack already available or going to be available in LEGO stores anytime soon? I was planning on making a trip soon to a store that's offering curbside to pick up a couple first wave HP sets (which are sold out everywhere else), and I'm wondering if I should wait for the student pack to be available before I go. The website doesn't show them in stock in stores anywhere near me yet.

I saw it on someone's Instagram story, I think @Falconfan1414's. It didn't have any new sets besides what we already know, and no additional pics of the advent calendar besides the box.

Speaking of displaying the modular Hogwarts sets, just out of curiosity, how do you guys have them set up currently? Front-facing or back-facing, and with minifigures inside the sets or displayed separately? We also get Moody's classroom in the clock tower, so he fits in perfectly there
