Congratulations to the winnners and thanks to all the contestants for participating. This is one of the best contests on Eurobricks...period. So much great entries. The top 3 winners are world class, but this could easily be said about all the entries that made it to the top 10, and then some. Very well done. For the winners, I do have a little surprise. I have been able to find a few (small/medium sized) Technic sets, which I will happily send to each of you. I will contact you shortly to pick your prize! And I will assign the medals and Technic tags. The latter will take some time with 62 contestants

LoL, you made my day Well, let's keep the text as it is and shuffle the colors a bit. For those who are able to distinguish them
-
I have thought about scaling down the text, but I do like some uniformity in banners across Eurobricks. If we don't care about that, we can also write Eurobricks on the engine in yellow And maybe it's good the way it is now. Simply change the theme colors a bit to reduce the different number of colors. I will give it a go this weekend or so.

That seems to be premature at the moment. -

I'm definitely with team HAPPY. Very nice! I really love the Fake box and Fake Sian! -
I wasn't too happy with it either. I will see what I can do.
-
Good point. I missed that. I'm a pixel-pusher so I know how you feel. Let's wait till we have the final theme colors (next week or so).
-
I try to match the colors, so I matched the sky with the theme color. But that might be changed when we redo the theme a bit. Consider this version 1.0, or the beta Not too happy with the green in the logo. That doesn't match with the theme. But that will be improved too.
-
I have updated the banner. I noticed that you were using the City theme, which I am not too happy about. The themes you mentioned in the first post were created by me and I have adjusted the theme to match the banner. In this case I am not too happy with the theme itself. When I have a bit more time I will try make the entire theme better and adjust the colors to match the banner. In the meantime....you do have a train in the banner I will try to make a theme with green, brown and tan/beige, so it will match the train.

I need to do some work before this can go up. And I have some other things on my plate at the moment. It's on my list though I am doing some EB stuff tonight. Maybe this will fit in.

You must be confused with his speed build (just kidding) That's no fun at all. Anyway....reviews take a lot of time to do right. Let's go back to discussing the Sian. -

You are right, my bad. Time for my second coffee. I need to stop making posts before that hehe. But if you get the set 6 days before deadline, you definitely won't have enough time to do a proper review. We do need to sleep, and we do have actual jobs and stuff -

10 hours?! Yeah....not so much. If your seriously think we can do proper reviews in 10 hours, you have obviously never done a review yourself A decent review will take at least 20 hours, but 30 is more likely, if you want to do it properly. But maybe TLG is thinking the same way as you do Edit: misread the comment, oops. -

Could very well be the case. I find it hard to believe that someone is already building the set, while the review copies haven't even been sent to official reviewers. On the other hand; with TLG's way of work you never know
