  1. In Dutch it’s roughly translated to the Small Mesage and Big Mesage But I digress
  2. So, a Technic Number Two contest.....I don't think we have enough brown parts for that
  3. Is there an image where I can see the innards of the bigger turntable? I am still planning on making a big robot (yes, I do, really) and I have been looking into big turntable designs.
  4. Eurobricks (there are Facebooks groups, but they don't offer elaborate help when it comes to the build itself) Why don't you create a separate topic and explain your problemin more detail. Maybe we can help.
  5. A car (or automobile) is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transportation. Most definitions of cars say that they run primarily on roads, seat one to eight people, have four wheels, and mainly transport people rather than goods
  6. Finally someone who gets the hint
  7. So it's either: Small Scale No Car Contest Small Scale Construction Vehicle More and better functions will (hopefully) result in a better score, but that's up to you voters
  8. So it is either Small Scale No Car Contest Small Scale Construction Vehicle (Small Scale?) No Vehicle Contest I like to scratch number 3 off the list. I really love the idea. Actually, it has been on my mind as the first contest for Technic, but we did the Triple contest instead. I really like to do this one day, but I don't want to limit this to small builds. That will simply be a "Build a non vehicle" contest.
  9. When I when to bed yesterday I was actually thinking about a theme and thought about a “No Car Contest” So not a dedicated theme but simply anything but a car.
  10. Small was indeed what we discussed before. So maybe we need to simply do the TC9, but with a single model.
  11. Like I said; I'm all ears when it comes to a theme
  12. If the majority prefers a dedicated theme, I am fine with that too obviously. But I figured having a dedicated theme would always make some people unhappy.
  13. All jokes aside; of course we could limit the possible subject(s). But if we do motorcycles, the car people aren't happy. If we do helicopters, the truck people aren't happy etc etc. I like to have more contestants than previous contest and I do think that having the freedom to build what you want will help with that. Of course, with the overall limitation of bounding box etc.
  14. Or course we could do that, but I like to keep it simple this time and let every contestant build what he or she likes. But I can help you out: Seasider needs to build a car. Building something else is NOT allowed. No licensed is an interesting thought and I am actually in favor of this rules. However, I am not sure how we can avoid people building a Porsche and calling it a Poers (or any other GTA style name, or simple Sportscar).
  15. TC9 was rather small. We can go for something a bit bigger. I'm thinking Corvette-ish scale. Or simply double the TC9 limit and go for 20.000 CS.
  16. Sweet!! That is actually what I was looking for. Thanks for looking it up. So the contest will basically be something like TC9, but with a single model. Maybe we can allow electronics this time.
  17. Nope. Neither. You can build anything you want, fitting the bounding box. I need to finish some work today. After that I will try to get something on-the-line. No guarantees, but I will do my best,
  18. I already wanted to have something up, because there is also a window of opportunity for requesting prizes. Basically it will be "Build something small fitting a certain bounding box". I just wasn't sure about a fixed box or a cubic box where you can play with the WxHxD. I'm leaning towards the latter to allow a bit of flexibility. On the other hand; I can also simply copy TCxx and get the show on the road. I'm going through the contests and it seems that TC18 was the one with the bounding box. But most entries don't have a bounding box picture. Did we have another contest with a bounding box?
  19. Indeed it is hahaha. PID controllers are impressive though.
  20. Okay, let’s get back on topic here and you can indeed discuss further via PM. Thanks.
  21. I'm fine either way, but since there is very limited discussion in this forum, maybe we can merge them. Whatever you prefer.
  22. edit: I now see this is an older topic
  23. Again, very nice work! We might need to start making an index of your creations
  24. Hi, This sounds like an interesting idea. I have stored my EV3 at the moment, so it's not for me at the moment. It would be interesting to see this come to life.
  25. This surely is one of the fastest line followers I have seen!
