I am not really sure how many questions each Fan Media will be able to ask, but I suggest we compile a list of potential questions. -

Exciting news guys!! I will be live at the unveiling of the Chiron in Billund on the 1st of June. Even more exciting; I will meet the LEGO designers and real-life car designers, and we get to ask questions. Soopadoopa exciting; there will be a copy for me to bring back home. -
I really love this topic. Thanks for taking the time to chime in. Like @VBBN said, we have been discussing some of the things addressed here among staff as well. It's not so hard to find some of the problems, but it's difficult to find solutions. I do think that re-organizing the different forums isn't a bad idea at all. Especially since some of 'em aren't very active anymore. We have been discussing the Scale Modeling forum quite extensively and there was some debate. Giving the scale modelers a dedicated forum was a form of appreciation to have them have their own place for showcasing their MOCs. Scale Modeling isn't just a variation on Model Team, although I understand why you would think that. The Hall of Fame is meant to collect all the great MOCs in a single topic and give the great builders the recognition they deserve. Actually, it's one of the indices which is actively maintained, so I consider this an asset, instead of a nuisance or something else. Members can propose MOCs for the HoF, so it's not only a staff decision. Sometimes things that are done with positive intentions are regarded as a negative thing. We can stop doing things like the HoF, but that would yet be another thing which isn't continued.

Technic 2018 Set Discussion
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If you all stop making useless posts about useless posts, you wouldn't have this problem in the first place. The irony -
Wow, nice review! I appreciate the fact that you went the extra mile to get a tablet I share your feelings regarding this set. It's a fun set, but I don't think it's a killer. The odd form factor and the fact that you can't even play for a day on a single set of batteries are the two major cons for me.

Our last contest winner @MegaRoi has been awarded with a nice LEGO BOOST set. There was a requirement though. He had to write a review for it. He sure hasn't disappointed us. Click on this link or on the image to check it out. Make sure to charge your batteries, because there are a lot of pictures to watch

Of course it is something different. The LEGO website clearly shows the countdown timer for the Bugatti. Couldn’t be more clear than that. So they showed May in Geneva? Well, they probably moved it one day and made it June, big deal -

So it's a DeLorean after all Let's try to be patient and wait what's coming. Hopefully (for me) the reveal will be on the date stated on the LEGO Website. We will be in The LEGO House and I can't think of a better place to unveil (literally) such a nice model. -

The laser canons are positioned at a slight angle. That’s why they can’t use a plate. On my mobile right now, but there is probably a picture from the front. Now that I’ve told you, you will probably be able to see it in the main picture as well.

[REVIEW] Wicked Brick - 75192 - Millennium Falcon Stand
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A coffee table is the best solution. That didn’t make it in my home hehe. I think the Falcon can rest on the stand for a lifetime. Of course, I can only tell for sure after a long period. Concern about the stress on some parts might or might not be justied. I don’t think it will actually harm the parts, but for that, also time will tell. I will take another good look when I am at home next week. -
[REVIEW] Wicked Brick - 75192 - Millennium Falcon Stand
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Star Wars
From the top my head it's around 41 cm. I measured it to see if it will fit the iDisplayIT (Pure Display) display case. That case is 39 cm so it doesn't fit. (that review will follow next month) -
[REVIEW] Wicked Brick - 75192 - Millennium Falcon Stand
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It does feel sturdy enough to me. The force is guided through both sides, so it doesn't fully depend on the thickness of the acrylic.
