LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Annoy Lego made a very valid point that blind bags / boxes are are not really blind. For blind bags. You can’t see what’s inside wideout tearing ithem open. All you do is to feel. And for the boxes, you scan the codes (except the early CMF blind boxes liek Marvel 2). I don’t know why you are confirming training cards with Lego CMF tho. They are competley different from each other. You can’t feel or scan the codes on training cards. That’s what but Lego pointed out about CMF being truly “blind”. I feel like Lego is aware about people tearing blind boxes and it was the company’s problem to be afforded. -

That’s a sad reality as not all 18+ sets are sticker-free. Modualr Buildigns are only the comfort for me. -
Hmm it looks like Paradox Interative’s unannounced Lego City Skyline video game has been leaked. Of course, it has nothing to do with the physical sets. But it’s jsut interesting to see another Lego video video game upcoming.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

That’s fair, although i have seen other mechanists like Pez have some licenses form Nintendo like Super Mario and Pokemon. You are right that it’s pretty hard to tell. -

Genrally speaking, I don’t care about licensed characters from other Lego themes but super Mario minifigures are the ones I have been watering for 6 years (one more year to wait…). I’m very very curious how well they manage to transiton charcters into traditoanl minifigures as there are no many humanoid characters. I always welcome new specialized molds for non-humanoid characters! -

Yes, those two sand green pieces we were talking about. I guess that is not a reason why an extra $10 for a Hautned House set then. -

I’m fiarly puzled that none of us is feeding the January CMF series as Nintendo but only me. Have is taht we are getting Zedla, Pokemon, and Super Mario themes, i feel we shoudl get more minifigures from other video games that are very popular for Nintendo like Lucas, Fox, Falcon, Pit, and more. And so that you can act Super Mario Bros Smash (Brawl). -

Maybe I misremember but i am pretty sure we talked about sand green pieces being brought back would be expesnive some months ago. I can’t rmeember which pieces, ignoring the price on PAB. Yes, minifigures, like ghsot, witch, werewolf, Frankenstein’s monster, zombie, woudl be little exuberant if they are exclusively to that set. I’m still not convinced that “Haunted House” would be a booknook as I read some leaks. It said “”and”. It makes me think there could be two seperate sets. Regardless what I said, I will be happpy to be wrong in a few months from now. I feel like Spring Lantern Festival is only a set that can fit into Modualr Building Collection easily but the rest of its theme is more kid-auidnece. I guess Lego wants Chinese kids to get into the former’s brand over other rival brands no matter how competitive the Asian market is. Holi is a cool idea. D -

That’s fair. But if Lego wants to do a booknook series after Sherlock Holmes, I think it’a very strange to mix series with licensed and non-licensed. If there is an extra $10 to the 18+, I think it’s because of san green pieces? If i remember correclty, sand green pens are expansive to make. I would underhand that they add a few extra parts to make a haunted hosue more detailed. A bit larger than Creator 3-n-1 “Haunted Manison”. Also we ahve another licensed cookhouse and it’s Harry Potter set. i agree with you that it’s very strange that seasonal sets are not part of Icons / 18+ series. I do think Halloween is a very popular holiday, jsut right behind Christmas. There are so many people out there who love spooky and horror stuffs around the world I’m still not sure why Chinese Traditoanl Festiviaes are not part of Icons tho. My opinion might be unpopular but I always love to see seasonal Modular Buildings like Christmas, Halloween, Chinese festival, Day of the Dead, and more. -

Personally, i dont’ think it’s the end as they had released baseplates in new package materials a few years ago, if i rmemeber correctly. So i would guess it’s a new package materials.

For some reasons, I can’t see Haunted House as a booknook as I took snooker look at Sherlock Holmes one. The Holmes booknook’s price is way higher than Haunted House’s rumored price - no matter how colors their piece counts. Plus, the rumored set name says “Spooky Haunted House”, not a specific, licensed name. I also took another look at Winter Village. Those sets like Alpine Lodge, Holidary Express, and others have have same price, yet thier piece buying vary. I think Haunted House might be a part of its own lineup. Of course, mirco-scale sets are more potential. Just not sure about the example of mircoscale Disney’s Haunted Manison.
