  1. Great and fun competition! Thanks to all participants and congratulations to the winners! Many thanks to @Mister Phes, Governor of the Pirate Forum for the complex, time-consuming work and organization of this contest.
  2. Excellent description of his work! Giefaux can learn a lot from De Royne. This is a funny story and I look forward to more stories.
  3. I like the storyline, from the Carno point of view. This makes the story much more interesting. Frederick von Undingen, Count of Wiesemburg, a nobleman and an important man with connections (a scoundrel). His end is near! First the gold falls into the sea, then him! But wait, that's too easy! Scoundrels are often lucky. Will he become General Tristan Rimbaud’s archenemy?
  4. Many thanks to @Mister Phes and his general staff @Yperio_Bricks, @Captain Braunsfeld, @Professor Thaum and also for the help of @Horation for this great contest! We should all see the positive: The number of Building Category participants and quality of the builds was excellent! The number of Creative Critic participants and the responses were outstanding! Eurobricks has many members, these are active in different forums. The question is: How can we motivate a member who is active in another forum to vote in the Pirate Forum? An example: You like Lego and you also like builds in the other forums. You look at the builds without reply. What would make you (Pirate Forum active member) vote for a build in the LEGO Train Tech forum?
  5. Perfect, you did a good job!
  6. What looks better for the Challenge, Contest building entries index? Is it more interesting to see pictures or just read?
  7. Bonus Points is a good idea and should be maintained for future contests! Without Bonus Points: The participant who has built something don't vote, then the other participants get one vote less. Bonus Points: The participant who has built something can vote for other participants, then he receives Bonus Points for doing so.
  8. I like challenges with 2 categories. The limited area 20×20 is a challenge and also a good entry point for new participants. Category A, I really enjoy reading stories, but writing stories myself is very difficult for me. Category B, good thing because I don't have to write anything. I think a construction time of 3 months is very good, because not everyone has the opportunity to build something within a shorter period of time. Category A: @Keymonus has built 8 great dioramas and written a whole book as a story. @Bricksbypidy has built 6 great dioramas and written a novel as a story. Even if they are “only” digital buildings. It's a lot of work! I'm not a court, but these two should deserve to win based on their work for this challenge. 1st and 2rd place winners for each category will be selected by the BoBS Brethren Court. How about 3rd and 4rd place in Category A? A small starting bonus and an air guitar? Category B Everything is possible here. But here too, due to the large number of participants, there should also be a 3rd place. We are at Eurobricks in the pirate forum. In this challenge there are no real prizes to be won that cost money. That's why it's not wrong to stretch the rules and prizes a little bit afterwards for the benefit of the participants. An interesting and funny contest: Where to find new members for Brethren of the Brick Seas? In the pirate forum! A vote from you is also an advertisement for Brethren of the Brick Seas!
  9. No idea why, but I have 2020 scan the sail. The 6 jpg files can be downloaded until 29 August. Sails Lego PIRATES OF BARRACUDA BAY - 21322
  10. This looks beautiful! I like the different colored buildings. The fact that Tortuga is divided into 2 districts via a bridge makes it interesting. I like the stories of the minifigures, the drunkard who gets a water shower is very funny.
  11. @Horation He works day and night. Gives good and detailed suggestions for improvement. Sometimes he writes in the replays a lovely poem.
  12. Small Category Steve's Origins in the Desert by Horation The King’s Merchant by Marooned Marin International Society of Steve by BrynnOfCastlegate From Merchant to Pirate by Yatkuu/Gregory Coquelz The Child - Steve's childhood by MyFirstMOC-Hun Large Category Tapu Island by Marooned Marin Escape from the Imperial Trading Post by A_Goodman Captain Steve of the Revenant by Sebeus and Legostone Origin of Steve the Merchant by SevenDeadlyStreamers Steve's Double-crossing by YellowFrog
  13. Interesting portrait of Tezcatlipoca! Funny story and unusual choice of character. I hope he never invites me to dinner.
  14. Captain Jno. Cooke, Registered Nurse Impressive portrait in a fight scene! The second photo where I can see how the portrait was made is funny. No professional background, on the table there is 1 ship, 1 fake ship and a lot of mess.
  15. Lieutenant Thomas Palmer, Registered Nurse Good farewell scene that reminds me of the Hornblower series! The HMS Reindeer is a very beautifully built brig-sloop.
  16. Interesting continuation of the story! The stay on the island did Captain Cooke good, as we can see he gained some muscles.
  17. That is a very beautiful ship! Is it a schooner? I really like how the quarterdeck above the ship's stern narrows towards the rear. The ship bow with the figurehead looks good. The masts, sails and rigging are excellently constructed. There are 4 cannons and 4 swivel guns for defence. Additionally, it has 2 cannon ports without cannons to prevent pirates. This makes the ship lighter and faster, but gives the impression that there are more cannons. Steve rightly laughs about sailing on such a good and fast ship.
  18. Steve didn't eat spinach as a child, so now he is punished and is in an endless loop! CHAPTER 1 Because Steve said damn him. God heard it! He wanted to condemn Redbeard therefore Steve was punished. Excellently made, exciting and funny comic! I had a lot of fun reading it. It even has 2 Matrix action scenes. For all those who are sad about the end of the story. CHAPTER 9, when Steve sees the logbook the next time in the cave, it will be the turning point of the story in reality. He will remember his endless loop again and change history. The ghost will be outwitted. Steve will use the ritual sword to kill the snake and free Redbeard. The endless loop ends! Afterwards, the treasure is loaded onto the double outrigger canoe and the two sail into the sunset. The ghost must stay on the island for eternity and because the treasure is gone, he can no longer tempt anyone to do evil deeds. The parrot will also leave the island with them.
  19. Great engineering in the construction of the raft! You implemented the creative critiques very well. I like that the tree trunks are visible and that it has rigging. Now that the large plate has been removed, the rudder is simpler and better, and the two small sails have been replaced by one large sail, I really like the raft!
  20. The vessel with the flame looks great! André Giefaux is an interesting new character. But I hope Bishop François doesn't disappear. It was very interesting to have a character from the Order of the Faith in the game.
  21. I understand, being born a citizen of Corrington is really nothing to be proud of. On the jetty, I see and 2 Greek amphoras, a Stradivarius and a bust of Julius Caesar. André Giefaux is an interesting character and I am excited to see how his adventurous life will continue.
  22. That was a great and exciting story of an expedition! There are great builds to see in every episode. The photos are fantastic and give the impression that it is a large diorama. I like the architecture; the buildings are very well built. Great selection of minifigures. Interesting development of the story, I wasn't expecting Carno troops. Haha, von Undingen gets what he deserves. He'll be lucky if he only loses his wig. I'm glad that General Tristan Rimbaud remains your main character. The alliance is only a pact of convenience, everyone is looking out for themselves. This of course makes things exciting on the island of El Oleanda in the future, because it has settlements from 3 nations. In addition, there are dangerous hostile Daca.
  23. This is a crazy story and scary shop! It looks funny with the minifigures. I don't think Lego will ever sell this as a set. The building with 2 underground floors is built with many details. I like that there is an outside and inside view.
  24. Beautiful little island and a great comic! I like the waterfall which is also the entrance to the cave. The rock formations with plants, flowers and palm trees are very well built. The path to the plateau is also very good. The cave with the different rooms is built with many details. A very beautiful double outrigger canoe.
  25. The building's architectural style could have been an arena. At the top is the grandstand and the gate was for the gladiators. I hope Tristan and his people win the fight and don't make too much noise so that the warriors come. The Chiffre is an interesting and valuable discovery. Cascadia Zone 35 and Ile Dyonisus Zone 51. Once the map has been fully identified, it will be helpful in discovering new, previously unknown lands.
