  1. None taken, I don't see anyone else mentioned if someone says "This is the best Castle moc I've ever seen!", so if someone mentions me when talking about Post-Apoc, I ust be oing something right! Anyway, absolutely fantastic stuff here Kris. Love the use of trolls in the brown building, and the flags, never thought of that. My favourite details are the large containers and the destroyed train track. The grey building is also my favourite. Overall very, very cool, though like others I think it would definitely benefit from more minifigs to make it feel more epic, as well as more trash and debris in the streets. Will you post an update when it is closer or totally finished? Batbrick Away!
  2. AAAAAAGGH! It's like Post-Apoc but underwater! You're beautiful! I love it! I really like the idea behind this, very neat. The main base looks awesome, and the grey/bley mixing works very well. Thel ittle vehicles are just as cool, especially the Tigershark and Aquabike, very clever designs! Is there an inside to the base? I'd love to see it! Batbrick Away!
  3. The best one yet Righteous Squid! Or atleast tied with the Mr Freeze Snow machine! I'll attack in order.: Scarecrow's Fear Harvester: Definitely one of the best things I've ever seen on the forum. You've certainly done a good job of taking Penguin's idea and really making it you're own beast. Literally, this thing is the definition of beast! It's so imposing, very nice use of those wheels for the front, what set did they come in? And man, oh man do I LOVE these details! The chains, scythes, crows (nice design by the way, do you mind if I copy?), skulls, fear gas containers etc, it looks so brilliant and most importantly: scary. The main design is genius too, like the little ladder and forward leaning cockpit. The fact that you used brown and tan only makes me love this more and more! I don't think I can fault it at all. It's really perfect! Batman's Glider: Another neat Batman creation! I really have to look into making Batman a glider. The design looks very clever but I can't see how it opens and closes the wings. Can ou please post a pic of the back? And lastly I love the story here. Not only is Scarecrow suitably frightening and Batman suitably STILL whining about his parents, but those fear illusions are really nicely done, and I like that Robin saves the day. The best part was the Professor bits though, I love his favourite wig, and his worst nightmare was hilarious! EDIT: And Scarecrow's hat is really cool too! Batbrick Away!
  4. Once again another stunning Batman epic Righteous Squid! You never fail to impress me! Gotta say this story was great, the poor Professor has the very worst luck, and his wig obsession is simply hilarious, I swear it's going further each time! I'll go by each creation: Professor's Boat: My, my is this a marvelous creation. I love the dark green. Never a colour I would've thought to use and yet it looks really good. The smooth and sleek shape is really nice, you've used those white pieces very well. I love the inside too, and the joker card is a neat touch from a previous confrontation. The rear looks great too with the little door. The windows are also great, you must have a lot of those. The little lounge area with the blender is cool, why does it go up a step to the table? Overall a very sleek machine! Killer Croc's Speedboat V1: I like this one, but again I don't think I like the use of the canopy, it just seems a bit like wasted space to me. I do love the engine design on it though. Batboat: Very nice machine! I like the overall shape of it, though I think the rear needs to be less blocky. The front looks great though, as do the engines and the little attached boat, it's so cute! Yes much better than the actual set miniboat. I love that Batman's got a heap of room in it too, and though I took the Batwings off the set Batboat, they lok great here. Killer Croc's Speedboat: Now THIS is more like it! Love this upgrade of the original, so much cooler. Interesting to see the difference between yours and mine too, as mine ended up smaller while yours is revved up! Not much else I can say but well done! Killer Croc's Swamp Hut: Oh dang! I had a similar idea I was working on for Croc, and you beat me! I hope you don't mind if I go ahead and make my own swamp hut too? Fantastic job though, you've really done the idea justice. I usually don't like "illegal" techniques like deliberately leaving gaps between the plates and bricks, but I must admit it really works here. The swarm of crocodiles is really cool too, makes me wish I bought that Agents Swamp Raid set as I only have two dark crocodiles and a light one. I think my favourite part about the hut is all the foliage! I love foliage pieces so nice work with that, I also love that random frog One criticism, I wish there was some of Croc's things in the hut. Killer Croc's Jeep: Holy heck they just keep coming don't they? Very neat job, I love dark green. The front is my favourite part but it all looks very good. Overall a very fine package for dear Croc! Now I'll go comment on Scarecrow's new Fear Harvester! Batbrick Away!
  5. I personally wouldn't mind remakes as long as they added things and pieces the original didn't have, like different minifigs and parts of the scene. For instance, another race for the stolen treasure but with the black Nazi car and jeep this time. Batbrick Away!
  6. Thanks a heap for the instructions Righteous Squid! Much appreciated. Oddly enough, I had already built mine from looking at your pictures, though I did go back and correct a few tidbits, so thanks a lot for that! I understand the annoyance of yellow pieces, as I deconstructed my Aquaraiders theme a year ago to find I had nothing else to do with the pieces, so atleast I got rid of a few of them! Batbrick Away!
  7. Heh, I'm pretty sure that's void now considering we have released pictures of the sets.
  8. Heh, same here. I've always grvaitated towards brown, tan, black and white as well as brown. Recently I'm getting into orange and green though. Likewise, I always hated it when my younger brother made a multi-coloured house or car, I'm a neat-freak. That said, I love most colours, except two: Yellow, because it's downright useless bar for subs and odd spaceships. Not helping that I have a load of it. And Pink, the worst offender, because it's a girl's colour. That's right, you read that correctly, a GIRL'S colour! Muhahahaha! Beware my evil stereotyping as I twirl my moustache and tie you to some train tracks! Hehehe! Batbrick Away!
  9. Oh poor Friendlich, I'm almost hoping he'll win! Nice explosion effect too! Great as usual KDog, and thanks for answering my questions. What number strip are we up to now? Batbrick Away!
  10. You're back! On a further note: Mariann, is that TEAL BLUE I spy!? Because if it is: Wow! You certainly have a lot of it. Dod you get it from the Beetle set? Batbrick Away!
  11. Anyway, a fantastic moc Mariann! That is really impressive, an absolute likeness to the poster. I'm amazed that you managed to do that in a month! Batbrick Away!
  12. Aww! It's so adorabele! I'll have 20 thankyou! Batbrick Away!
  13. Those who lack idea lack imagination! Just remember, Star wars has been going for ages and that is really based off 6 movies and an animated series. A little EU yes, but not much. Now I think Indy with 4 movies and the Young Indy chronicles under his belt can manage atleast a few more! Batbirck Away!
  14. I'm going to call you "The Over-Reactor" from now on, because you seem to take simple posts way too seriously. I prescribe a chill-pill and early night's sleep. Anyway, good notice Tinn-Man, I'm surprised I didn't see that. Either way I can't wait to get this set, but i really hope it is the price I think it is, 50-60 AU. Batbirck Away!
  15. Really? I hope it isn't, I'd rather get a new slime-based villain. Hopefully with a very cool head. I'm predicting we will, just to be annoying! Don't worry, the final ep is coming soon (soon is relative, because this is big), but the next Interactive Game will be VERY fun! I really can't wait for reviews of these sets. As much as I want it, the figs and pieces of the Agents Helicopter will make or break the purchase for me. The Inferno torsos are lovely, but I wish they had robo-heads, that'd be neat. Batbrick Away!
  16. Awesome second part Sandy! I love the way you're expanding these characters and giving them their own personalities, as well as forging interactions with the other characters. Are the ones we see here the only characters from the last bunch we'll be following? Or are we only seeing these ones and the others will be seen later? Either way, it's all good! Let's see, I voted to survive: Paramedic Bob: I like his character, though mind you I'll kill him if he keeps angsting about drugs Assassin Ferid: He's still awesome. Plus I think you need a more dangerous character like him to shake up things, as well as possibly be of good help in danger. Patient Anne: She's a nice dying lady, what can I say? I'm a natural saint I vote this because I think a lot can be done with her character. Pirate Rosette: She is SO gonna kill that Lieutenant! Explorer Vanya: She's cool, and you need a neat space character on the "show". Witch Morrigan: She's a witch, that already makes her useful, evil and downright enjoyable! Captain Dereq: I want him to do more than be a pilot of a crappy spaceduck! Android XETA: He's a robot. End of discussion. Also Sandy, I love the way you've fused the settings together. A little simple in spots, but overall very fun and imaginatively done! Now bring on Part 3! Batbrick Away1
  17. Firstly: Welcome back iamded! I missed you! Secondly: Yes! You made another cool moc. This is the coolest thing.....ever. I just love it. The studdlessness is great and I love how the engines use that window grill. The actual pod using the bionicle spikes and bones is simply brilliant, I wish I'd thought of it! and as someone that sucks in every way at making engines, you've done an excellent job, especially with the bone thrusters at the back! The electric pieces joining the engines are also great, I never even thought of using those pieces that way. Oh! And I just noticed the black skellies at the front! That is so sweet! Also love that it is driven via crystal ball! Now make more things! Batbrick Away!
  18. This shows a lack of thought. Of course the squid could've been used, stereotyping people like that it silly. I would never want a shot-by-shot remake but the squid is far better than what they used for several reasons. For one, no one could beat Dr Manhattan. So uniting the world to be rewady for a future attack is ridiculous. He could snap his fingers and the world would be gone. This also means that instead of fighting him, the world now lives in fear of him, living a good life in a constant attempt to appease this "god". That is the COMPLETE opposite of what Ozy wanted. He wanted to unite the people and give them hope. yes the threat of a powerful alien species would definitely cause fear as well, but the point was it would let the countries work together and prepare together in case they came back. They would no longer be fighting amongst themselves, but they would not be doing it out of fear of angering a god, they would be doing it of their own accord to help the world. This is of course to say nothing of the "dramatic" crater. Watchmen startled me at the mass of bodies and gave me a scope of the situation. It made me care about the common person, just as much as the characters I was reading. Alan Moore said himself that ultimately the movie was about the people, but I feel that was lost in the movie by just making them unseen casualties. Oh yes, and I missed the colours too. Batbrick Away!
  19. Ah, thanks for that clarification. Do you plan on getting the Alpha Base? Or is it too expensive at this point? Also, how is that DACTA Base coming? Batbrick Away!
  20. Simple and brilliant design. I suck at spaceships, so everytime I see something like tihs I have a lot of respect for the maker. Looks a lot like Faye's ship off Cowboy Bebop. Also: however, the tendency for the nuclear reactor to overload and fry the pilot made it impossible for the continued service of this fighter ROFL! Batbrick Away!
  21. Brilliant stuff Spacerunner, as a huge post-apoc fan I must say you've really knocked the ball out of the park with this one! I love that chopper, so unique, though I want it to carry a big bomb! The cart is pretty cool, but most of all I like the type of post-apoc there: Medieval Post-Apoc, never seen that before! The truck while pretty good is admittingly my least favourite, though I do like the cylinder. The plane however, is pure win! It's so cute too, I love its stubbly little wings and array of weaponry. The car is absolute brilliance. All the stuff is incorporated so well, especially the rear gun and equipment. And is that a red magnifying glass? What set did that come in? Overall a very neat package, do you plan on any other mocs? Batbrick Away!
  22. Awesome stuff TheBrickter as usual, I love your Gravestone world. I also really love tan buildings, so this is brilliant to me. The little bits of different architecture are nice and subtle, and I do like that you've broken up the colour with brown and black. My favourite touches are the torches and windows on the second floor. how are they made? A sticker? It actually evokes as creepy mood too, what with the neat concept of a maze, ever expanding manor. Reminds me of the Castle of a thousand mirrors. And the ghost! I really, really want one of them! Hopefully they make a return in sets. Overall I love it. Is it finished yet? I reckon the tan needs ot be broken up a littlem ore, but overall another great and freaky entry into Gravestone. You know what you should do next tohugh TheBrickster? A Gravestone building that isn't sinister, how creepy would that be? Batbrick Away!
  23. He has tuuuuurned! Muhahaha! To be honest though, after this fantasy castle theme is done, I'd welcome back the more "realistic" style, as long as we got Forestmen. In my opinion it's all good. Batbrick Away!
  24. Thanks for the vid-share Oby. Venice Chase has a lot more features than I thought, definitely a must-by more than ever! Temple of doom also has great stuff, can't wait to get that one for sure! Batbrick Away!
  25. svelte-corps, that is such a cool avvie! Anyway, I'm of the opinion that it'll continue, atleast for one more wave. I don't know, I just don't have that sinking feeling for it that I had for Batman.... Plus, we NEED that Tank Battle. NEED. Batbrick Away!
