  1. I'm guesing it will be to james Bond what johnny Thunder was to Indiana jones. Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. ________ Thanks LuxorV! :'-) Nice to know i've kept it interesting. Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. _________ X-O X-O X-O X-O $250? Thats insane! I live in Tasmania, here it is worth 130 AU, which is roughly 114 US dollars. I got in on sale, so I got it for $95 *sweet* Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  4. I reckon that the orc impulse set will be like the Sentry one, and include extra weapons. If so, that means we wouldn't have to resort to buying the Storm Lasher just to arm those in the sets without weapons :'-) Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  5. Lego Agents: 8630 - Mission 3: Gold Hunt (INDEP) 8631 - Mission 1: Jetpack Pursuit 8632 - Mission 2: Swamp Hunt 8633 - Mission 4: Speedboat Rescue 8634 - Mission 5: Turbo Car Chase 8635 - Mission 6: Mobile Command Centre 8636 - Agents (INDEP) 8637 - Agents MDP (PROMO) ____________ Hmmm, what does INDEP mean? Gold hunt sounds interesting, as does Jetpack pursuit. From the sounds of things, it seems to be a bit High-tech oriented, I look forward to seeing this. Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. Not wanting to be rude, but is there a point in this topic? There is already a thread like this call "Batman 08". Unless this is for discussion on movie sets and such, then thats different :-) That said, its already been confirmed that we are gonna get The Tumbler, and likely his Batpod too in the Harley Quinn set. But not all batman villains are mutants, the only one I can think of that is, is Killer Croc. "Freaks", would be a better term. I myself don't want movie sets, other than the vehicles and batsuits, which seems to be what TLC is doing. Not BB/TDK based sets, but just taking elements off them and placing them in batman mythos alongside Harley Quinn and other villains we won't see in those movies. Nothing to say, but Batbrickl Away! >:-)
  7. Bought the UCE Batmobile on sale because of a partially damaged box yesterday, taking with it a good chunk of christmas money. It was worth it though, that thing is a beauty *wub* I also bought volume 1 of Batman: The Animated series. Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. Very interestred in those Agent sets. heres hoping for a James Bond rip-off! :'-) Great find whung and iamded! *y* Looks like 4 batsets then, I'm glad theres a troll impulse set too. The Crystal Hawk impulse set sounds like MM, but seriously, what else could they have for impulse? All they had was jellies and astronauts, so I'm curious. Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. ___________ And a skellie one! :'-) I want to build up ALL my factions. Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. Hello, and welcome to: Interactive Apocalypse! *skull* This thread is not interactive this time however, as it is an update, showing my upgrades and new MOCs I've made since your decisions last time EB. When I get back from my fishing holiday over at Anson's Bay, in a week and a half, I'll post the interactive bit *sweet* For those not familiar to the premise, here are the two previous threads which serve as an intro: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=12746 http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=12873 Anyway EB, here are the decisions you have made during "Safe Season" last time. (results may have changed since, but I gave it a timer, so I'll stick by it) You chose: To upgrade your defense during safe season To search for survivors during this time To keep your unstable team-mate. Here are the results of your upgrades. I tried to make it more "haphazard" like Hinckley suggested last time, but it is much stronger now. A few overall shots, your quad can now fit in the base: Dead Swarm and ex-team members stilll have their job to do: The gates are wide enough to fit the quad through, and are very strong. They have a beam to hold the doors shut aswell: The three weapon stations: Inside, you have two beds now, and a Runt cooking (more about them later ;-) ) Still got those chicken legs for some reason. The Quad also fits snugly: Normal shot: Now, you chose to look for survivors. One, a man named Exobuilder joined, putting your group to three. He is much more stable and calm than your other man, whos mental state continues to deteriorate. During the last part of "Safe Season", you happened apon five different strangers while in different places. You have room for one more man. Each has an offer, and each has his detractors, here they are: Neron A mysterious, extremely high skilled, high-tech warrior. Best shot in the whole region, but unfortunately, because of his bloated ego, demands that only he and you stay in the base, to make things more challenging.A very shady guy who never shows his face. Kabuki Su A wild savage whos language is just barely understandable. He always carries a venomous snake around, and claims to know every knook and cranny of the entire region and beyond, which could prove useful. Seems friendly, but you never know.... Reginald Jameson A pompous, but genius brit who has a great knack for technology. He refuses to kill or fight The Swarm or anyone under personal reasons, but says he can greatly improve not only your base design, but your quadbike, weapons and lifestyle. Also loves tea. Commander Xenu A highly skilled martial artist and bladesman, though not to the level of Neron. He is generally nice, and insists that YOU join HIS base instead of vice-versa. He says his base is much better protected, and he needs troops. It is a long, dangerous treck. Now for The Swarm updates. This group is still growing, getting larger after every "Safe Season". Ever since The Cataclysm they grow in numbers. Here are the old and new: The Undead: The undead are the most common creature of The Swarm. They are relatively easy to kill as their bones are brittle from sandstorms. They have a mysterious King, who covers himself in human appendages, and appears to have a somewhat small intelligence. The king, this guy may or may not factor into the storyline, depending on your decisions: The Zombies: The Zombies are common in The Swarm, though less common than the Undead. They are harder to kill, as they are brutish and feel no pain. Luckily they are very slow and stupid. The Abominations: The most varied group of The Swarm. These are entirely new species and creatures which have arrised since The Cataclysm, and are the most mysterious. They are roughly humanoid, and entirely ferocious. They can be weak, strong or some can even make fire. Note the addition of the "Pyros", flame dispersing creatures: The Mutants: These are by far the most intelligent of The Swarm. All Mutants used to be human, and still maintain a lot of their intelligence, which, unlike any other part of The Swarm, can increase. They dont eat human but kill because they have become simply evil. I tried to make these guys a bit more inhuman this time, but still not an entirely new creature like The Abominations. Now for the Monsters, new and old. As you can see, my fascination for making small brickbuilt creatures has not ended, tell me if you think I succeeded or failed :-$ : Crawler: A rarely seen, timid little bug. Not deadly in anyway, though pretty creepy. They are disgusting food, more likely to make you vomit than fill you up. That naturally doesnt stop The Swarm from eating them, especially The Mutants. Creeper: A demonic looking arachnoid with a perchance for dead flesh. Very rarely seen, but often considered bad luck. It is a universally loathed creature, never approached by The Swarm, Surviors or even other Monsters. It also reeks of dead flesh. Djander Bird: A flightless bird that often follows The Swarm. It is deceptively cute, with a poison beak. Once stung, your nervous systemn will slowly rot away causing a death more painful than any other. Any survivors starve, too afraid to move for fear of pain. Runts: These tiny creatures are the equivelant of chicken and sheep in the future. They always travel in a pack, in a single, straight line. The Queen is slightly different to the rest of them, and always is at the head of the pack. Unknown if they are poisonous. Squent: This spiky monstrosity has caused the death of many survivrs and on occasion some of The Swarm. It has poisonous barbs and, though not entirely ferocious, is very feared. It is semi-common, and seen in most habitats. Thorny Granyl Reptile: Some type of armoured lizard with a large tail and head. Often bathes in the sun, and can be seen all over the desert. Cant be eaten as the skin is too tough, though rumour has it that Trondosaurs quite like them. Very docile, and often seen near Squents. Trondosaur: One of the few brightly coloured creatures of the future, and extremely fercocious. Always hungry, it feeds on practically anything, and is very hard to dispose of. Luckily, they travel alone, and arent all that common due to a slow reproductive cycle. Weaver: This bizarre creature is only known to attack when provoked but still tends to hang around The Swarm. The tail shoots a deadly spike, when in position, with enough force to cut straight through you. It has been tamed by some survivors, and is well liked. Can you survive EB? A very detailed Brickshelf gallery here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=291194 Well thats it! :-D Hope you liked it. Tell me what you think, and constructive criticism is always appreciated! *sweet* Oh, and thanks to Hinckley for the permission to do this, and Exobuilder for being willing to be included! Sorry for the HUGE post too :-$ Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  11. Welcome Bull, have a great time! I hope you can improve your english, and its always good to have another Adventurers fan around here! *sweet* Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. I harbour an intense hatred of pure malice against the person above me. He also builds awesome mechs :-D *y* Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  13. ________ Me neither! And don't worry, we're all just jealous. I can't wait to see the trophy room or training room, and I am pleasantly surprised that you plan to make Wayne Manor on top. Tell me, do you plan on keeping this for display, or take it apart eventually? Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. I had forgotten about Clayface. I know many have mention just using the Rock Raiders monster, but I'd much prefer him done in the style of the Troll in the new castle sets, except slightly smaller and of course more posable. He could have multiple hand molds, like a normal hand, an axe or sledgehammer. Thats probably too hopeful though.. And Mad Hatter is a must, I don't want to wind up painting one of my top hats just so I can make him. Thats good, I'm not going crazy :-D I remember it mentioning them "holding him back" very specifically too, as well as Harley. I'm pretty confident we'll be seeing him this time though. Yes a ski-mobile would be great, and useful for other things too. I think a snow-oriented batsuit would be great, but given that we'll probably be seeing only two new batsuits by the pattern, I think I'll take something else. Besides, it would have to appear in another set where it would make no sense. We can always hope, but I think instead you are onto something with it being bulky. Maybe a more armoured batsuit. Good point, these sets don't tell us much do they? I'd be happy with what you suggested, but what we really need is his motorcycle, the Redbird, which you mention down there somewhere. Well, I'm thinking the same. I hated the Batpod at first, but after seing it in action, wow is all I can say. And the Hammer Truck could be the same size, I just thought truck instead of van, but TLC tends to do that all the time. Either way, I think the price range is that of the Batmobile roughly, so that means three figs. And I reckon you are right, I keep forgetting Ivy :-$ She has a large possibility of being in that set, though I think I would prefer her in her own set, with a brickbuilt plant or something. But atleast it would mean the end of all the Arkham figs being re-released. Now I know you want green ivy really bad, but sorry to say, I don't think we'll be seeing her anytime soon. Sorry, I just don't think TLC would even bother. Relationship? Two grown women sleeping in the same bed, not all that subtle is it? I think with all these TDK related (note: not based, but related) sets, that a BB/TDK batsuit is pretty much given. I still want a dark grey one though. If you want to see what it looks like, look on the back of the Batwing instruction manual, you can see a dark grey bats on the Batwing stand. And I had completely forgotten about a trenchcoat for Joker aswell :-$ I NEED him to have those, or a Laughing Fish vignette wouldn't look as good. I guess this set all comes down to what the Ice Cream Surprise really is. It might be a van (not likely now, I'm thinking, if Harley gets one), a little business stand (allowing for plenty of other building), or a fullblown icecream factory. Fair enough, I modded my Service Station bike to be a batcycle. Nothing too fancy, I just put some fancy black peices on it, and some clips that hold two Batarangs. And again, Redbird is must. We Batfans are never satisfied are we? :-D Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. Funny idea TheBrickster. Me? I do two. I voted for the "play with the minifigs and sets like a ventriloquest" option. But I am also a lot like TheBrickster in that I set them up on my shelf looking neat and tidy. I have my armies perfect, and they are all in poses. BUT! The reason I voted the other one is because I always get them back out and play with them. See this pic of my castle armiy for example: I did this yesterday. I also got my Vikings out too but they kept falling out. I also pull out my Batmobile and Battank and play with those awesome villains too. And then I return them to my shelf on beautiful display :'-) I also animate, but I'm waiting for a better program, but when I do, you'll be seeing some movies ;-) Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. Seeya! In other news: An incident that actually concerned people occurred yesterday when the new indiana jones set pics turned up. Thanks goes out to a local news finder Legomilk for this recent development, we'll keep you posted ;-) Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  17. Wow! That sucks, a lot. You should be able to get those peices for free right? Anyway, I'm sure its probably just a one-off bad luck thing, hopefully. Goodluck getting those replacement parts! :-) Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. __________ Yes, I'm actually quite angry at myself for not posting this pic in the entry thread, as as some would be thinking "What the heck!? That doesn't look like Batman at all! *wacko* " But all in all, its the fun that counts, and this was my first mech. I had a LOT of fun building it and posing it, its pretty intimidating and tall actually. The diverse range of mechs in this comp really were great! *y* Thanks again to zero1312 for this competition! *sweet* Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  19. __________ The one from this year with the red roof and white walls. It doesn't really matter anyway, I also have the other two! :-P Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. Well done Benk and Hinckley, the winners who may-or-may-not have deserved to win! :-P X-D Seriously, well done, and thanks to Zero1312 for such a great contest. I'm a bit surprised mine didn't do better in the lookalike category, maybe people didn't realise it was based on my secondary sigfig: That said, those that won were the ones who deserves ity, congratulations! *sweet* Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. _________ Thanks! And don't forget Crayfish! OOOh! Lovely Crayfish! *wub* Well, heres the Crownie and Skellie armies: Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. _______ :-D Yes, the boxart does look great, especially the Attackship one 8-
  23. That looks excellent Bonaparte! *y* I love the look, very wellmade, but still retaining a great, legolike quality. Good decision going with a dual layered clothing too. I'd never thought of using paper, but the idea is so simple and you've executed it flawlessly from what I see. I'll have to give this an experiment, this forum has been dragging me in :-$ Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  24. I ate a lot of chocolate, and setup my Crownie, Skellie and Viking Armies. I then watched my newly aquired Firefly, brilliant show, and hilarious too. Most of my family went to the shack at Anson's Bay for a two-week fishing holiday, I leave friday with Mum because I have a couple of Doctor's appointments first. Nothing too serious luckily, the worst is over now :'-) I also did the finishing touches on my post-apoc world, you'll see it tommorrow ;-) Anyway, wish me luck on catching those Cocky Salmon, Flathead and Trevally guys! Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
  25. _______________ That is lucky! X-O Me? I got: 4 Crossbow Attacks Final Joust Catapult Defense King's Castle Seige *wub* Service Station Creator House And some money, about $80 - $100 Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-)
