Oh no, not at all, I meant by the little commentaries you leave at the bottom of each strip which often gives little bits of information. I quite enjoy that, as I know not much of most space, despite a return of the classics being what I would really want from TLC, the only space themes I managed to get sets from was the original Space police, UFO, and Insectoids, the latter being my favourite. On the contrary, what I love a lot about this comic (and makes it stand up to repaet viewings), is your funny, yet appropriate interpretations of each. Who else but UFO as a (supposed) badguy? DACTA, the educational line as geeky new reporters, how appropriate! M:Tron obsessed naturaly with magnets, stuff like that is clever and certanily makes me laugh. Batbrick Away! :-D

Short answer: yes. You really need to lose the attitude though, I mean seriously, its just meant to be fun, can't have fun with an all powerful God character involved ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

:-D, thats great! I can certainly imagine Dr.S doing that, though it looks like he is drowning in the first pic.. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Vindicator Class Super-Heavy Self-Propelled Artillery.
Batbrick replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Damn... I simply cannot fault this. Wonderful work, I'd say your best yet Dr.S. Ingenious barrel design, great side armour, and a sleek, mostly SNOT design. Fantastic stuff, looks very adjustable too. Batbrick Away! >:-) -
Diverting on to an actually relevant subject ( :-P ), I have started my Hotrod entry and hopefully will finish and post it in the coming days. I have plans for it possibly after the competition as well... Great entries so far too, I will make comments on each one once I have posted mine. Batbrick Away! >:-)

That I will! Fantastic wok here, it is even more faithful and better looking. Whats even better is that you have retained the Mule's "ugly" look from the film without literally being ugly, thats a hard thing to do. As it stands, it looks great, and you've inspired me to watch the series and film again! (I own them on DVD) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yes, that would be the hard part wouldn't it? You certainly are doing a great job so far though, moving along the story and providing the humour, and I've learnt a lot about space I didn't know about before. Is there any themes of space (excluding DACTA) that you don't have any sets of? Anyway, I eagerly look forward to the next one! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Brilliant work there Wetwired, I love it. The paint job is fantastic and there are some nice improvements over the previous Tumbler *y* I really need to make one of these when I get the parts... Batbrick Away! >:-)

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Sets
Batbrick replied to Ronan Nissen's topic in LEGO Licensed
Why a new thread? I'm sure these have already been posted. As for the sets, I plan to get them all, the temple and tank will be dismantled for their overload of beautiful tan and dark green parts, as well as those cool treads and fleshie faces. Batbrick Away! >:-) -
You HAVE to choose a FACTION, can't you get that? NO Zants, NO gods, PEOPLE from factions. The end. Anyway, you are STILL too powerful, pretty much having the bull knights at your command is silly, just get a dwarf or knight as your character or something. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Or maybe it could be her entire face :-P I'll admit though that she looks better as Oracle, probably (for me anyway) a combination of more style, more attitude and less ripoff of the Dark night. Ah I see, I though you could've meant that, as I can barely understand you ramblings sometimes X-D Still, that page in TLH is a bit weird.... I know, but is that a good thing really? Not at all, I'm fairly comfortable here... Batbrick Away! >:-)

Brilliant stuff KDog, I love the DACTA news reporters, that made me crack up! :-D I love how this is going, you keep the continuity fantastically, and I love all the different space lines you use. Keep up the terrific work there, I really look forward to the next one, and love to read them over! Batbrick Away! >:-)

I agree, TLC will return to a classic medieval theme in time, but for now we get a great fantasy one. I personally love it, the new elements (anything with the dwarves, orcs, undead skellies) are fantastic and of great MOCing use. I really don't understand the logic of those who criticise it because they don't like fantasy, we've had the knight vs knight stuff forever, I'm glad we get a break. I hope either of two things will happen next year: 1. Only Elves as a new faction, so the Orcs can get al ittle focus with an Orc Fortress, and the Dwarves can get more sets, which they desperately need. 2. Or, we DO get a new evil faction, but the role of background faction (used this year by the crownies) is taken up by dwarves. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks very much BlueBard, much appreciated. :-D , thanks again hollisbrick, thankyou for your compliments. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yes, quite correct, though it is "The Batman and Superman Movie" I believe and it is actually just three Superman series episodes combined. I'm not a huge fan of "Mystery of the Batwoman", at all, I quite disliked it actually...Thanks for the though The Penguin. :-D, thanks hollisbrick. I doubt they will, as they are the main draw of the set, the figs, but still, we can always hope.....Thanks too. Batbrick Away! >:-)

My friend came up to my place the other day and he loves the technic shooters. He then proceeded to destroy my castle display using a heap of technic shooters and throwing Lego rocks. It was funny, but now I have to put it all back in order :'-( .... I also dropped my Axe Murder House after finishing it a long time ago (my MOC btw), and the cave part - the hard to build bit - smashed and I had to build it upside down... Batbrick Away! - >:-)

N-17 Fershwitz Boran had successfully given the Orc Leader the news, it was official, the orc and Skeleton Kingdoms were once more united. This was joyful news, too bad it was dashed by the next bit: A small but powerful dwarf attack faction led by Chief Tyrius Thunderhammer had been spotted advancing on the Orc territory. Tyrius was a known threat, hated by all Orc kind for his slaughtering of their houses. Though his fleet would be defeated, much damage could be done. The Leader was quick to send Fershwitz on his next mission, to travel and meet Adym Wrenchmonger to better learn of the Dwarven and Crown mind. He would stage as a kindly refugee, Crownies were known to be generally nice people, and Fershwitz would find this man....

Wow! Fantastic Troll there, I love it! Love the albino like colour for him too, and the scars. Great work *y* Batbrick Away! >:-)

Ah, that would be Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, which, you may be interested to know, is often the highest rated Batman film on critic sites. Its easily my favourite (yes, even more so than Begins), I love the dark deco atmosphere and characterisation. I'd definitely recommend you watching it, its a brilliant film. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yes, the Joker card, giant coin, kryptonite, robot dinosaur, what else? Are you getting the Indy game too? I probably will, but its at the bottom of the list right now, so many things to buy. I'm trying to stock up more graphic novels this year too, and collect the DCAU, starting at Vol 1 of BTAS which I got in January. I'm not a Speed Racer fan either, but c'mon, it's the Mach 5! X-D It's made by the Wachowski brothers, so hopefully its less Matrix sequels and more Matrix and V for Vendetta. Batbrick Away! >:-)

:-D , thanks, that made my day. Mr Zero brings back strange memories... What did you see him in may I ask? Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Thanks very much. He features rather prominently in the Batman Beyond series, which I never took to much, but it had it's moments, namely the excellent feature film "Return of the Joker" in which Ace is used quite a bit. I'd definitely recommend watching the DCAU, its an excellent run with some brilliant adaptations (Laughing Fish, For the Man who has Everything). Not to mention it actually made Mr.Freeze cool ( ;-) ) and created Montoya and Harley ( *wub* ) for us. Plus you have to love Mark Hamill as the Joker. I consider BTAS in different continuity though, the styles and characters changed once they finished that. Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Definitely an egg-cellent interpretation, that showed the creators certainly had egg-sperience, not to mention how well they egg-secuted the whole thing. X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

Mr.Freeze was so hilarious in that show, though I'd have to say Egghead and King Tut take the cake. Batbrick Away! >:-)

The two walls idea is only a last resort if I run out of pieces. If I were you I'd keep the back open, works much better I think and then the whole thing ends up larger anyway. My Wayne Manor is likely to be open back, but WAY open back. Using my vast amount of tan I plan to have at least ten studs inside space from front to back. Yes, thats a hard part. Some of my Interactive apocalypse buildings relied on heavy platform support so hopefully I'll have learned a trick or two. Plus chains are good, always good. I might even take a leaf out of you book and include kryptonite, among other superhero accessories. Hopefully we can both find a way to stack up platform without omitting the view of other parts of the Cave. Thats good pricing for you then, I wonder what it'll be here in Australia. A Laptop? Shiny. My Mum bought a laptop recently as she has decided to go to university, I must say those touch pads are tricky until you get a mouse. Good luck with that then, I just realised the other day my sum total with all the other things I'm going to buy, and only then remembered the Lego Batman game :'-( I do the same, temporary creations often steal bits from displays, only to be returned. I know I use the "had enough" syndrome too, Hybrid Rescue Tank is going down soon. I'll agree on the Agents port with you too, I can't believe how cool they turned out, especially the enormous truck. I really must get them all, fantastic parts everywhere. I'll probably take apart the Turbocar gate, Swamp Hunt base, and thats about it. I love the cheesy aspect too. I'll just demolish them all. I'm buying the Grand Prix, Mach 5, and red truck for the fantastic parts. Most people will ask me "Why the red truck?", but have you seen the minifig faces and torsos that come with it? The Grand prix just has great parts and much needed fleshies for Batman, and the mach 5 is THE Mach 5, and has that cool Snake Oiler head and wonderful orange parts. Oh dear, this'll cost me... On no, going backwards here... Me too, though I did steal the Batcave batsignal for the police station, which made a lot more sense anyway :-D Mods are actually really annoying, the Batmods especially tend to eat up my black parts supply, and black is pretty much my most used colour.
