  1. Good idea actually, I think I might try the bag too, mine are in clear plastic containers I bought from Chickenfeed (super cheap store). I'd definitely suggest it, it's a great read. Though it doesn't have all his greatest stories, it definitely includes the best ones that really show you his character. No, just no. Whirlybat is mine, go make your Bat-strike! That's fine really, though rather annoying for me, I thought I had that in mind as an original Lego model. (actually, I'd love to see it as a released Lego set..) Nah, give me old fashioned Bond cars any day, invisible was just too far for my liking, as was the impossibly sharp shooting machine guns. That and the badguy's plan went from simply using hovercrafts to get over the minefield to burning them with a satellite using diamonds that reflect off the sun fed into a power rangers suit... I'll think I'll stick with the good old rocket cigarette (YOLT) and Jetpack (Thunderball)! Whoa, that's a lot of photos. I still look forward to seeing some though, atleast you have them on the computer now right? I'm also (Batman Lego related) thinking of making a Tumbler like Wetwire's one (due credit given of course) with those instructions he kindly gave us. I don't have the proper wheels and don't want to order one, so the cockpit will be changed, but luckily I get the proper wheels in the Speed Racer set and star Justice for the rear ones. Batbrick Away!
  2. Madness is the fuel of war good sir! I for one will see no part in it, but as it continues to rage, I wish for our dear government to regain control. And I am Barnabus friends, excuse my rather radical speech, my dear Mary was lost to the attackers of war once, I miss her greatly...
  3. M-18 Fershwitz Boran was being interrogated but had not yet given answers to Tyrius when flames erupted around them, scattering the men...
  4. Shameless advertising Me myself? I would agree that the lack of many building ideas would be a disadvantage to the Indian subtheme. Me personally, I think it's a wonderful theme, full of great parts and wonderful minifigs. Why they didn't sell well I'm not sure, maybe Indians just plain aren't as cool as cowboys to the buyers... Batbrick Away!
  5. Thats understandable, I didn't like it at first. It grew on me though. I'm not sure on the shoulder bits, but I like the mask, looks rather creepy, atleast to me. Naturally, all the features look good actually, and it'll be another nail in your coffin to buy the DCAU Batbrick Away!
  6. , as one poster said so appropriately, this is not going to end well! Batbrick Away!
  7. Barnabus (me) turned to the waling crowd following the announcement: "Oh when will people learn that wars like these shall never end? The only way for Rome to become the paradise I once lived in again, is if peace can come. If there was peace, I wouldn't have lost my dear Mary... But if war must come then let the most powerful of our great government commence those actions, in order to avoid a long, brutal war."
  8. Great review, thanks for that. I love almost everything about this set. The ants, commies, general (can we please get a shot of his face?), dark green, treads, foliage and other creatures. Great stuff, i'll have to get it on sale though. Batbrick Away!
  9. wow, this is a fantastic set, I love the Dark Green croc and other features. Marion is good to have again and I love her new torso, and those commies look great as well. Thanks for the review alex54. Batbrick Away!
  10. Thanks for this review alex54, this looks like a great set. I love the new hair molds and faces, plus al those extra pieces are fantastic! Batbrick Away!
  11. I agree, Deadshot is wonderful. I believe the reason of Killer croc being so exaggerated as revealed in a review is because Scarecrow and Croc are in the same story, so Batman sees Croc through the fear gas like that! Hence why he breathes fire in the trailer, which I love the idea of. I really love Scarecrow's design though, its very unique. About other villains, thats about the extent of it, other stories involve gangsters, The Narrows victims gone nuts, and more criminals, which i'm fine with, I love seeing Bats vs street gangs. , of course I'm right on that one. Yes! Win! You admit it! (child mode deactivated). Great to see you like it now, I'll definitely be buying it, it looks fantastic, and I'll get the two-disc special edition as I always do with great movies. I love the shot of Deadshot being owned by Bats on the train, holding him over the edge screaming Batbrick Away!
  12. It always "so technically" with you isn't it? Naturally Ah Zatanna, another favourite. There must be something inherently attractive in fishnet stockings on superheroines to merit these two in a row Now to find more.... Batbrick Away! (in search of superhotties)!
  13. No problem mate! I'm just really glad you took to him so much, I thought the Dragon helmet would fit in good And now, Batbrick goes medieval for anyone who wants to use my sigfig this month: Even hundreds of years ago my coolness is still striking Batbrick Away!
  14. , there could truly be no better ending than this. Great job TheBrickster and thanks for giving me a good laugh and a good story. Love the grave Stone reference too. Batbrick Away!
  15. Nice, we have 5 people at M-18 now, seems the skellie forces are being defeated and I'm being captured. I wonder if Scourge will manage to take a prisoner... Batbrick Away!
  16. Yeah, the orcs and dwarves are the epitome of cool really I love them, and can't wait to get that new Orc helmet and armour, as well as green troll and such. Batbrick Away!
  17. M-18 "No!" cried Fershwitz Boran out to the skeleton commander in the distance, as he was taken away to a holding cell by Tyrius Thunderhammer and Edthgar's men. The skeleton forces were beginning to lose, and Fershwitz knew soon he would be questioned, if only in the midst of the battle he could escape. He was certainly the strongest of all the men here, but hopelessly outnumbered...
  18. I thought you might like that. Oh, "Batty" eh? I actually like that I agree with you Sinner, this is definitely an underrated set (like the 05 policestation ), it is incredibly solid and not at all ugly looking like on the box. Great new alternate there Front, the Bat-Fat-Bike is awesome! I love the use of treads, those would crush my pathetic treaded cycles: Great work. Batbrick Away!
  19. Oh, that means the Jungle Cutter is 80 Aus bucks, I'll have to cut down on my list then, as I must get the cutter, great set. Batbrick Away!
  20. Yeah, as much having a lot of one colour, with bley for me it is mostly just plates, so I'll try and use as much of them as I can for my Batcave. I even modded my King's Castle Siege yesterday just to get rid of some excess parts. Yes, that is why, as much as I love JL and "urban" Bats stories, you have to accept the continuity with a grain of salt really. I enjoy finding which story fits where, but one of thegreat things about comic continuity is that it is so loose, which allows different writers to give different interpretations for their stories. Yeah, like you say there are great things to add in. I still want to have my own design incorporated, but add in things from various times. I bought Batman: Tales of the Demon yesterday (great read btw), and I really love the Batcomputer and cave look in the "Daughter of the Demon" storyline, visuals matched only by Dennis O'Neill's writing. I also am now convinced to make the little Whirlybat (gyrocopter) after reading the novel too, it is so cute yet so practical No! I love the campy Q-gadgets as much as the next guy, but the Bond-ola ( ) was just too far. Oh well, not as bad as Die Another Day atleast... Still, the Q-lab was also one of my favourites, who can resist good old Q: "And please bring it back in one piece 007!" - he never did. Revenge IS funny As long as it's street legal, go for it Yeah, I'd agree with you there too, despite the Joker of course having the definitive chemical origin, I don't want to know who he was before. That's one of the things that this movie Joker is letting me down on, if he wears makeup, and even takes it off, that man still exists under there. It reveals him as an ordinary person playing pretend like Batman, where the true joker is what he is, stuck as what he is, and loves what he is, which makes him more frightening and a classic villain. Oh yes of course, as will I, but what I don't like is how the movie is straying further from a Batman interpretation and more into an Elseworlds tale, which is how I'll have to see it. Well done mate! Look forward to seeing your stuff, good to know you got a good laptop too! Batbrick Away!
  21. Picked up the Mach 5 set today, awesome stuff. Fantastic pricing, I guess the license didn't cost much or something, and the minifigs are great. anyone notice that speed racer's face looks more female though? I put a woman's hairpiece on "him" and wa-lah! We get a headstrong hottie Batbrick Away!
  22. Wow! That is a great Batbomber there, I love the design you've made. The stubby yet undeniably Batman look os wonderful, and the "for free" vehicle is cool too, though not as good as the main attraction. Brilliant work overall, I look forward to other alternates, this one is great. Batbrick Away!
  23. Once more, I have a gigantic lineup: 1. Take apart Exo-Force Hybrid Rescue Tank 2. Buy more containers for Lego 3. Sort Lego better 4. Some Space mocs I'm toying with 5. Interactive Apocalypse part 5 6. A castle scene for Castle month 7. Two more Pirate contest entries I'm busy Batbrick Away!
  24. Fair enough, I'll quote next time. I believe it goes AgentRick57, Scourge, Me and now CloneCommando. Unless these things don't have an order, still, now that you're about to cut his head off, I say we give him the chance to duck Batbrick Away!
  25. In short, Get rid of the pics. Thankyou Batbrick Away!
