The only trouble I'm having is that several emoticons sometimes fail to show up. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Great map there, I love it, great work. I've posted my character, is it alright for him to be in such a high position? He doesn't have an army but can cause trouble and conflict between nations, I just wanted to begin a sort of "tension" between the Orcland and neighboring countries as they try to attain more land. EBRP General Information and Character thread.
Batbrick replied to Khorne's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Name: Fershwitz Boran Age: 58 Background: Fershwitz is that rarity of Orcs: a smart one. Born in the capital of Orc country, he has lways aspired for greatness. Unfortunately for neighboring peaceful nations, he was still born with the Orc's lust of war mongering and brutality. He is not an enormously skilled fighter, not many Orcs are, but can hold his own against most because of his thick hide. When growing up, he quickly established himself as a prodigy, rising through the ranks of Orc military. He is currently Chief of Neighboring Relations, which, considering his want of destruction, may be a bad thing for all. He has not an army to command, but speaks on behalf of his nation, and sometimes, just himself. Despite his almost fullblown treachery, his nation adores him, and hope that one day he can expand their small borders. Faction: Orcs Class/place in hierarchy: Chief of Neighboring Relations Equipment: One of the few shiny bronze swords, and a tough shield showing his class in culture. He also has a decree from the Orc council that declares his right to enter and observe near lands. Looks: Batbrick Away! >:-) -
It seems pricing is the real trouble, I think it's fine, but TLC was just a bit nuts to let it get that far. As for the Battlewheel, I just hope that the price you quoted will be good for Australians, love that weird machine. Looking at all the castle sets released this year I am very surprised: 6 Castle Product Sets: Defending the Dwarfsmine, Troll Assault, Tower Raid, Dwarfs Mine, Troll Warship, Troll Battlewheel. 3-5 Impulse sets: Sentry, Wizard, Troll Warrior (and possibly Skeleton Chariot and Soldier) 2 Battle packs: Crownies and Skellies. And 2 others: the Advent Calender and Chess set. That makes about 15 products, plus ones I missed. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Very clever, I really like that idea. It seems your Arkham is going to be wildly different from mine, I like your colour choices too. I probably have enough brown to start now, but I'd rather wait and be sure, I want to have some left over for MOCing when I'm done. Of course the trick is keeping the ugly look without literally making it ugly and unappealing, thats where I'll have trouble. I on the other hand will probably look to the main section of the released version for inspiration, tweaking the design and then expanding it out to become a larger building. I might perhaps make to large wall and sit the across the corner, making it appear to be a four walled building. For not having some space you've certainly worked out some innovative ideas to keep some, I like your platforms idea, it would definitely look at home in the Batcave. The problem in itself is almost not the space, but the bricks used to achieve it. I know that if I want to use a second shelf as a dock and vehicle platform, the number of bricks, plates and special parts (ladders, metal rigging) needed will be enormous. I would very much like to see yours with black paper, I think it would certainly complete the effect. Yes, I only managed to get a wall shelf as my brother was staying in my room too when we had an exchange student over for a year, and we needed space. It helps a lot however, though many people tend to question the necessity of an entire wall of shelves :-D You could always find some free space for a small shelf or single cupboard if you had any. Most castle sets then, and multiples, what about that wacky Troll Battlewheel? Sad for me I don't think I'll be able to get many multiples, maybe just a few small dwarf catapult sets, I'd have to say this year of Lego is TOO good. Most of it still built for Agents? Interesting, do you find it hard to break down sets or do you just like to display them? I display all my sets for a while, but my Indy sets are going down soon. Do you steal parts off your display sets for mocs, and then return them? Just curious that's all :-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yeah I don't get it, why is a day as fun as April Fools (its over now here btw) always causing spam overload everywhere? Surely a good joke can be made via pm or in a thread :-/ Batbrick Away! >:-)

I understand why you wouldn't like the vehicles or sets, but hate the other minifigs as well? I don't understand... Batbrick Away! >:-)

Oooh, mysterious. Fantastic work here KDog, I thoroughly enjoy these and look forward to the next! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Whoa.. Thats just too cool. Only you my friend would have taken post-apoc to the next level with a zombie exploding wall cannon! :-D Simply ingenious idea executed flawlessly, wonderful use of that spring and black chains ( *wub* ). Great foliage detail too, even in your vigs you give a great atmosphere of a society torn back to it's roots (yes, a pun X-D ). Great gore too, gotta love trans red, and the variety of pieces you've used makes it seem more gory and real. I love you figs too, especially that crazy face, what set did he come in? I love your torso choices too. Back to the cannon, I love the dish at the back too, and the small gap between it and the rounded plate, really looks like a cannon, but still a crazy improvised one too. The use of a barrel as the barrel ( :-D ) is funny and awesome, It looks great! And of course I love oyur wall, those inverted slopes are a treat, well done on having them, and I love that the baseplate isn't completely flat too. If I was going to pick any faults in it, it would be that I can't find any faults :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)

Wonderful LuxorV! Brilliant! A great Black Fantasy creation, I love the alive, yet mechanical look, very creepy. The treads are great (off the Hybrid Rescue Tank yes?) and I adore it's face. I would have loved to see this in Nannan's competition, though I believe the rules were far too strict on the levels of black and orange that were to be maintained. Overall a fantastic creation, I look forward to your next, do you plan on one? Batbrick Away! >:-)

A couple of good mocs I found, I will search harder later. I have to say I laughed at Darth Andrew's satire :-D http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15551 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...6&hl=zombie http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...2&hl=zombie Hope they are worthwhile enough for you, I certainly like them. So what is it exactly you love about her so much? Yes, me too. Not to say marvel is bad, I just find DC a whole world more interesting, not to mention it has a plethora of better villains. No, i'm serious, you may have a problem :-P I've noticed, but atleast you don't go emote overload like I sometimes do. Still, you did enjoy TLH yes? And it has Green Ivy for you too ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Its a lie you know, Revenge IS sweet! >:-) Nice attempt though. I'll also add the riddler onto my list though, great villain. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Given that Zombie mocs aren't the most common finds, I'd say you might as well include others too, none of that "If it meets my standard" stuff. I understand that this is a zombie only one now, so don't include my IA world, but i'd love to see more EB creations as well. Batbrick Away! >:-)

:-D , I know how that feels, but atleast my dad knows to stay away, computers aren't his thing... Oh no, I worded that poorly, I meant that in the long run i have four projects, and only the GCPD is completed so far. Thanks on the Manor too, It'll be a monstrosity of Tan, using pieces from the Creator Town House, Indy Temple Escape, Indy lost Tomb, and Indy Temple of Akator (Those Indy sets are great for tan!). It'll be open back, like Arkham and GCPD, with the grandfather clock (probably the same design as my Alfred impulse entry) and other details. Whoa....thats plain scary. Is the Bat-ski the Batcave one, or another design? I know i took mine apart, but plan on a smaller ski mobile for him, like Robin's one I've made. May i ask what the Bat-Strike is too? I look forward to your Bat-Armour as well. I guess that means I'm in big trouble too then, I only have one (possible two) shelves for this. And I'll just leave that little joke of yours alone this time ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Ah, that'll be rather effective I think, and I like the idea of a north west Batcave (so long as you keep it well hidden ;-) ) The plus of making it taller was one reason why I kept the baseplate for my GCPD. Just make sure you have enough bricks... That's look great, I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I may end drawing up my own on a black sheet of paper. Either way, it would look a lot better, I always thought that was the single detractor of your display. Oh... You need to follow my suit and make an entire wall of your room one long line on cupboards X-D I'll still have that problem too, I guess I'll take apart more sets. How many Castle ones do you plan on? I know I sadly want to get them all, and most of the Agents too, though the Agents will be demolished for parts in some areas. Its really quite scary thinking how I'll add the vehicles to the Cave, I might have to resort to the Hush style platform that holds several vehicles above. Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Oh dear, good luck to you with that, computer problems are never simple are they? I thought so, I thought the Dark Moon Rising duology was great, it presented a brilliantly clever depiction of Batman's first years by making him a optimist, thinking that his crusades would not turn into an endless battle. Plus, I love those early villains. I look forward to that then, I have four major Gotham projects: Arkham, Batcave, Wayne Manor and the completed GCPD. I look forward to your depictions, what details will you be adding to the Batcave? (apart from vehicle space :-D ) Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Yes, thats my worry as well, I think Wayne Manor will be coming from me first, after all these wonderful tan sets this year. I'm probably going to keep the released look for Arkham, but as said before more spread out details for a better asylum look. I will need a bit of brown and black. You are using a baseplate? Interesting, any particular reason? I like the idea of treads more personally, clever. I'll probably make a wheeled contraption with spikes on the wheels and cryo equipment in the back. A wee bit like the Batman and Robin version, but, well, far less flamboyant :-D Hmm, I have yet to enlarge my Batcave, I'll probably spread it across two shelves side by side as opposed to your vertical alignment (which I do fancy btw). Maybe a whole dock and vehicle platform, and of course the necessary science room and costume display, and yes, the kryptonite chamber ;-) Yes, its a hard creation to make out from the pics, let alone mod appropriately to the movie. I'm tempted to make a mark 2 tumbler based on Wetwire's ingenious design, I'll do that when I get the appropriate pieces. Might of been in the Mars Mission thread, I was rather sneaky there... I haven't got any Bat MnM's coming for a while now, its time for bigger projects. I try to keep all my Batmocs permanent though, so many parts in my "Treats" are still on display, do you do this? Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Right now I'm into the great Indiana Jones them, Batman, Castle, Creator and a bit of Exo-Force, Mars Mission and when they come out, Agents. Batbrick Away! >:-)

I'm trying I'm trying! I can't get the stupid pin close enough! :'-( Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks, I wanted to use him/her again! :-D Thanks Brickmaster, I didn't know it was rare, I got a couple in the 2007 Service Station. thanks iamded, I thought you might enjoy the Castle Babe! I was thinking of giving you the Lightning babe, but not even I, your archenemy, is that cruel! :-D Thanks Exobuilder, and thanks for letting me use your sigfig. Batbrick Away! >:-)
