  1. I think you are well under way to make a fine version of the yacht. The reddish brown striping is actually red on the real ship, you might want to use dark red for that. In Dutch we call them swords, as they work like one.
  2. Just imagine they would make it dark brown, with all new parts.
  3. Always good to see another southern neighbour, welcome to Eurobricks! Who doesn't like the modular buildings? I'm sure you'll find the town section inspiring to expand your streets!
  4. Thank you all for the kind words guys! What is ''ridding''? Thanks for the blog! I've made the masts and rigging accordng to these plans of the La Renommee: Knowledge is only power when shared right? I think I owe you a beer though. Always welcome here buddy.
  5. Yargh, wind in the sails! Great pictures Admiral, I also enjoy the early WIP shots and the detail in the interior.
  6. What to say, it is great! Love the way it drives, and the suspension indeed looks like it works great! I do think the barrel moves a bit too easy, maybe some tuning there could make it even better.
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  8. Great, it really has that classic Lego look to it and I love the fact that you integrated historic buildings and made tunnels under them!
  9. This is simply brilliant, Ed's ship and your amazing planes to go with it. I should go and see this live sometime, and I guess I should bring a bucket to stop my drool from going on the floor. Since that is the case, it might be a fun idea to arrange a get together with some other Dutch Afols?
  10. Happy birthday!
  11. Better late then never, happy birthday y'all!
  12. She looked amazing at Lego world, she really stood out in the crowd. The lines of the ship are great, as is the fine detail and the way you have managed to make your masts! I hope you find time to make all the changes you had in mind and get the rigging and sails done.
  13. I've completed the rigging, you can check it out here. Feedback is much appreciated!
  14. Well it's been a while since I posted here, but the ship is nearing completion. All the rigging has been done, all I need to do is add sails. I decided to first share some pictures without sails, so you can see the detail in close up. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! First up an overall shot from the side: From the stern: The bow, note the brickbuild anchor: The part of inetrior that is visible from the hole: A birds eye: Some close ups:
  15. Very well said, rest in piece Dan.
  16. Happy birthday guys, hope you have a great day! And lot's of cake Hinckley, eat it, you need it!
  17. You're a master mixer of colours, kudos! Good luck on her!
  18. It was great to finally see her in the flesh, she's a real masterpiece! Your rigging system is also quite clever and worked way easyer then I had imagined. Though minor, I already gave my points of improvement.
  19. There was another topic on this one somewhere already, but I completed it anyway!
  20. I like how it is coming together, great colours and the headrails are starting to look the business as well! I do however think the bow is still too flat and should be more round. And how are we supposed to know if this is a Red or Bluecoat ship now?
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks, always good to have another Dutchie around! Or thay are all at Legoworld.
  22. Congratulations buddy, enjoy the new rank!
  23. Thanks Stash!

The Prince Willim is static. it doesn't move Plokoon.

I know Blackmoor, feel free to mess with it!

  24. Where the heck are we going to house all these people? Should we make arrangements for ourselves?
  25. Will be there the 24th, along with some other members.
