  1. I can't remember the exact set, but it had a connection with a 2x4 brick sideways stuck onto a 4x1x2 latticed fence.
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks, i hope you have a great experience here.
  3. Even back in the early 70's they used basic SNOT techniques.
  4. Indeed better late then never, the big 3, happy birthday bud!
  5. You show off! Indeed a good feature, when I find time I'll definitely write something too on mine. I forgat which set I got first though...
  6. Mr. Whiskers strikes again! Very nice creation and finally the office has a home.
  7. Your stern doesn't look bad, though there is room for improvement. It looks a bit dull, here you have nice checkers along the sides, and then a little bit plain stern. Making it more elaborate with some ornaments fitting the rest would already make it integrate better. This also goes for the colourscheme, try to make it all fit together, rather then just having some blue and yellow here and there. Lastly you could try and make the sides of the stern fit the sloping of the ships walls a bit better. I hope that helps, best of luck!
  8. I have quite some 9V trains and parts, but I'm definitely seeing the possibilities of the new PF trains, though it might be a slightly more difficult system. I think I'll combine the 2, using 9V on short tracks with trams and such, and perhaps PF for big trains on longer tracks and difficult structures as turntables and bridges. In the end, the great thing of Lego is that everything can be combined with everything.
  9. See that a Redcoat can't tell if it's a joke or not...
  10. Pfff, seeing that line I'm glad I wasn't in it. looks like you guys had a great event though, any picturs online yet?
  11. Nice idea to make some WOW decals, however they look to real IMO. Drawed versions would look nicer I think, now they lack the Lego feel.
  12. Looks great, though I like the original colourscheme with the grey slightly better.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks, hope you have a great experience with us!
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks! 28 is a great age to reinvent the wonders of Lego trains.
  15. Very clever build, thanks for sharing! Good thinking!
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks, it's always nice to see another shipbuilder in here. I absolutely love your Jaques Cousteau ship, great work!
  17. That was brilliant! Dreams buddy, dreams....imagine having the biggest PAB in the world, like next door...
  18. Good move to make it slightly longer and I'm also glad to hear you found a perfect bow technique. Next to that all the little details like on the prow make this extraordinary!
  19. Basically you are saying that your table is crooked right? Adding beams to the bottom of the table deck might help to make it more straight, especially when you use glue and the extra beam is attached to a straight frame on both ends, making sure the beam is straight on top. Hope that helps?
  20. Looks great, especially the front! I do think that the wheels are a bit too large, or that the bus is a bit short. Changing 1 of those might improve the model.
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  22. What you call peach, would be ''light flesh'' in AFOL terms. I'm a big fan of the fleshie minifigs as well, I try to get at least 1 of each and make my own with older outfits. It sometimes seems hard though, because the collars are either yellow or flesh, so mixing up torso's can be hard. I'm planning on having all city figs in flesh, the other themes in yellow. Especially since my favourite theme, pirates, only comes in yellow. (Though that might change when POTC becomes a reality) That's my 2 cents.
  23. They seem to be sturdy enough, but you might want to glue the joints, especially when it isn't pre assembled. Haven't tried them though, but you might try a small stand for a little price and share your opinion about it here with us.
  24. Hmmm I didn't knew mr. Phes is a Redcoat, this is most disturbing... Great entry Z, good luck!
  25. Haha that's great, even in a far far galaxy, far far away from here, they don't like Redcoats!
