  1. The colorschem is definitly cool, but it looks much higher and thinner then the Endevour in the picture. If you were to make it wider it would already be better. On these ships people could often not stand straight on most of the decks, but 5 bricks high is enough to have them standing straight I haven't made interiors in my prefab hull ships, the single deck ships are 5 bricks high below, but on La Mort Royale people would have to duck below decks as i care more for the lines of the exterior. Hope that helps.
  2. What makes you say that? Is it your opinion, or based on facts?
  3. Congratulations guys, enjoy the prizes!
  4. You're getting better and better at this Joey, the rear and the headrails look really nice! The ship is too heigh and too narrow, it would tip over as it is now. You could lower the space in between the decks a bit or put the third row of guns on the top deck to make it look better.
  5. Thanks for the kind words guys, ilost the contest, but i did have a good laugh with it. The rest is awaiting round 2 if you look close :pir-skull: You're welcome, but we did eat you afterwards as you kept whining about your arm. What, what, what, i have said no such things! Aww, sorry i dissapointed you mr. i need attention.
  6. Happy new year people!
  7. Your rigging already looks fantastic, even when it's not finished yet. The picture with the sails look awesome, that long bowsprite is very cool looking! It's good to hear you'll be replacing the paper with cloth, such a beauty deserves it. Keep it up admiral Z!
  8. That looks like a great start. Are there any new pictures with some progress yet?
  9. And the pink, black and medium blue one. A funny job Erdbeereis, are you goin to build a pirate pet store, with monkeys, owls, cats and what not?
  10. This is a good start on a ship, i especially like all the working features and the interior you have made! I would take out the brown log bricks and replace them by normal bricks, it would also look nice if the strip along the side would be in the same color as the cabin i think. The front castle is a bit high, making it look a bit like a cog ship, but that's not nessecarely a bad thing. Looking forward to see the other ship you're talking about, keep it up!
  11. Happy new year everybody and a happy birthday to you!
  12. She's a beauty Tom! The new headrails, the added rope and the sails make this an outstanding creation.
  13. That looks great already, what needs to be done to finish?
  14. Thanks guys! It appears that my work is blogged on a Croatian blog called Kockice for the first time as well.
  15. Excuse me, but i never had 1 megablock and never will. So no, we do not all use them at some point.
  16. Happy birthday guys, have a great one!
  17. Why a chrome greatsword ofcourse. Might i suggest you browse bricklink for parts, before opening up a lot of topics with a lot of questions? You'll find the sword in there as well
  18. It's really cool to see the engines working and the paddles moving. I also like the working rudder a lot! Keep it up!
  19. Ha that's a BIG cannon, and a nice rendition you did of it. The sand green would make a nice patina color as it is today, i think dark orange would resemble the bronze best if it were new.
  20. Nice work, i would like to see the entire thing in one pic to maximize the effect.
  21. Welcome back to lego and to our boards! Rebuilding old sets is great, it always brings back memories.
  22. Nice work, i would change the torso for a coronel Dovchenko one though. I like the coat, it looks like it has seen action!
  23. I should have bought the rights, deamnit.
  24. Nice work for such a small parts collection, especially the skull is well done! If you need help on posting links and what not, check out the tutorial index, link is in my signature.
  25. Thanks for the review Guss, now we finally got to see some details of it! I voted above average because it comes with many nice new figs, nice parts and it doesn't cost too much.
