  1. That's what you get when you ride too hard Copmike!
  2. Merry X-mas to you too Strawberry teacher!
  3. Ah you've been busy my friend! I'd go for just tan and dark tan as well, the grey looks out of place IMO. Keep it up!
  4. Looking good so far! For the shield you could try to use some 2x3x1 slopes and then build some tiles against it with the studs pointing outwards. I think you can clamp a 2x3 plate in there, but some hinges might also work. Good luck!
  5. Merry X-mas guys, have some great days!
  6. Must have read over it, answered it now.
  7. Thanks for the kind words guys! Our member Dreamweb has made a tutorial about it. You have to get the screws out, and then it's a bit of fiddling to get them loose. Good thing is they stay put without the screws after.
  8. Thanks for the kind words guys! The crew is there, they are hiding below...... I've only made the visible part of the lower gundeck, so what you see is what you get. I don't really care for interior on this scale. A smaller space between the wheels isn't possible, since they have a half pin on one side, that would otherwise stick out... The compass is a good idea, i might change that in the future. The ship is from 1728, and carronades weren't very common in that age. Thanks again for the compliments guys!
  9. Thanks for the compliments Kurt! I don't really get your point on saying i didn't answer the post, i try to answer specific questions the best i can..?
  10. I mostly build alone, i am at my best that way. I sometimes do some building with others, but as some others said it is distracting.
  11. Wow mr. Norrington, i didn't know you are such a talented decalmaker! Excellent work, i must remember this thread if i'm doing something Victorian.
  12. Hahaha that's great! Thanks for crapping down my chimney Kim....errr Santa!
  13. Very funny MOC dennimator! What makes you say that?
  14. That's one badass Tie fighter, cool flamejob! Did you pimp the engine too?
  15. Happy birthday guys!
  16. Theme Name: industrial warriors Characters: Proffesor warwick and henchman(bad guy), gearhead and friends (good guys) Conflict: Proffesor Warwick is making machines and plans to take over the world, Gearhead and his friends try to stop him. Setting: the industrial age, this would be a steampunkish theme, but could also fit in the wild west and what not. (difference in settings possible.) Background Info: think about movies like the leageu of extra ordinary gentleman and wild west with Will Smith.
  17. Amazing work, looks very accurate! Might i ask why you haven't made a brick built hull?
  18. Nice work K-D, especially that entrance is well done! Only thing i'm missing is a way to get upstairs.
  19. That's a great colorscheme, and with the shorter boiler it looks faster! Do you plan on making coaches for it as well?
  20. We are honoured to have you here Mariann! Looked over your website a bit and i'm looking forward to see you post some models here so we can discuss them.
  21. Nice work, i like the colorscheme, really has that old feel to it! The only thing i don't like is the tape shown on the sails, wouldn't it be possible to punch holes in the paper and make 'm like lego does?
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks! Last time i was in Denmark i also saw words, exactly spelled like they are here in Holland.
  23. It was between Jester and the maid, but Jester won. Gotta love that headgear!
  24. Great work as always AC! Do you leave your castles in 1 piece, or do you scuttle them?
  25. Sounds like we need to plan an Asian event sometime.
