  1. Looks pretty good from what i can tell. Looking forward to see some lighter pictures.
  2. I have the old one, but seeing this great review, i just ordered the new one! Indeed
  3. At what age are you allowed to drive in th UK Joey?
  4. The only thing i don't like about it that it has a 2x2 plate behind it, a 1x2 would be nicer. Other then that i like it a lot, it gives the new vehicles something extra IMO.
  5. Most excellent, i must get one. The pirate vest looks a bit lighter then the original though, but it could be the light.
  6. Amazing work! The movies are on tv here in Holland at the moment, and it looks pretty accurate.
  7. Excellent pictures B! Where's the one you were at the wheel trying to steal it? In your description you say it carried bricks for the strongholds, but those were available locally in the indies. Oak trees were also planted in the indies to build houses and repair ships. It ransported workers, troops and money for the colonies on the trip over. And back, next to all the goods you mentioned, they transported opium. The opium is what got us rich in the first place, not the spices or slaves everybody always talks about. The houses build at the water are part of the old harbour. I'm not sure if docks used to be there, but it makes accessing small boats to get to ships, or get goods from the ships into the buildings easy.
  8. Next time we'll make some arrangements for that.
  9. The whole forum has a networking function, so it doesn't really need a separate topic for it. Trading can be done in the Buy, Sell and trade finds forum. I''m closing this up before any new members start offering stuff in this. Hope you'll understand it Skipper.
  10. Very nice, especially the front and the sign on top! You could make some grey, black or maybe even dark red stripes or a pattern in the carpet to spice it up a little.
  11. Happy birthday IS, have a great one!
  12. The layout and architecture is very good, it really has that imperalistic feel. I can't say i really like the blue roofs and ornaments on the buidlings. I'd rather see the ornaments and white and the roof's in a bit of a more realistic color like dark red or black. Are you planning on building this for real?
  13. Seeing the size of your robot, the arms are going to be quite heavy. 2 large cilinders might do the trick better, this set only contains 2 if i'm correct. An airtank can also easily be made out of a water bottle or something like that. I'd say buy a bunch of cilinders, a pump, hose and T parts from BL, it'll be cheaper i think.
  14. You're just going to skip the Batavia?
  15. This topic reeks of booze...
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  17. Great drawing skills man! Especially that female behind caught my eye, very free handed but yet figurative. Nice!
  18. I have quite a few new sets now, and i must say i like them. The design is quite good, and some of the parts and especially the figs are awesome. The only thing i really dislike about the ship are the yards made out of rigid hose, it doesn't feel solid. Despite that, they are definitly worth it!
  19. Wow, congrats on finishing her Panda!
  20. Ha, nice crisp images IS! Did you need to warm him up at the fireplace with some hot coco after?
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks! What are you favourite themes?
  22. Just filled it in for you, good luck!
  23. Old topic yes, but good to see you back on the forum Dreamweb!
  24. The idea is great, the execution even better! I love the dorm one, i used to live in one and i totally recognize it. The dishes are made in a very smart way, i love it. Excellent build Eti, you deserve those prizes!
  25. Same here! That white wooden plantation house and the small church look great. Thanks for sharing.
