  1. Babyteeth, the guy who submitted the updated Caribbean Clipper on LEGO IDEAS, has also made even bigger ships with custom made hulls. Here is he's biggest ship, a 4th rate Ship of the Line, by his description. https://www.brickinside.com/NeoView.php?Db=ReviewOwnCreation&Mode=view&Number=4399
  2. Can you post some pictures of the things you are referring?
  3. Yeah... Plan to buy it in 2021. Excellent Pirates Headquarters Base! Even better than the original fan submission.
  4. This looks a lot like the ZHEGAO QL1800. Nice!
  5. This part? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30201#T=C
  6. Love the colors! So unique!
  7. Oh man... I want it so much for this ship to be released as a set by LEGO! It's absolutely gorgeous!
  8. Ok... this is just absolutely brilliant!!! Can you do a close up render of this spot? And from this angle?
  9. Unbelievably Awesome!
  10. Actually I'm happy they ditched the mid sized hull. I don't like them at all. Putting cannons across these pieces is very crampy and looks unatural. I would prefer if LEGO made 18w of 20w hull pieces. Or cut them in half for more flexibility.
  11. @SteamSewnEmpire Thanks!
  12. Maybe not so much elevation. More like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-rate
  13. Hmmmm, solid point. I think I'm more interested at the moment for ships with elevated the front and the back of the ship.
  14. Thanks! I've seen that. It looks a lot like Pirates of the Barracuda Bay (enlarged version). I'm interested in something with different style than Pirates of the Barracuda Bay.
  15. So from what I understand this design has outdated techniques. Can you point me to a similar style MOC ship (2 rows of cannon ports, 3 masts, good curvature of the hull) with updated techniques?
  16. Yes, it's great build and I look this thread from time to time! It's a pity we don't have more high quality pictures of it. I'll check @Kolonialbeamter builds. Thank you both for your answers. Now, let's all get to the inn, drink some rum and beer... and shake hands.
  17. Amazing build! I'm trying to understand this technique. It reduces the Minecraft aesthetics a lot, making it appear more smoothly and natural. Has anyone else used this technique for the sides of the ship? I haven't seen it anywhere else.
  18. Thanks! I also like the fact that you made the interior easily accessible, 10210 Imperial Flagship! The piece that you used for mast rigging, is it official LEGO part?
  19. Nice! I like the front. I want to MOD the front of my Imperial Flagship into something like yours. Can you add some more photos of the front?
  20. This is absolutely amazing! More high quality renders on Flickr please if you can.
  21. Now this is a GREAT MOD of 31109! The original 31109 I don't like, but this looks more like imitating a real ship. I'm actually thinking of buying 2 sets of 31109 in order to build this.
  22. Really? Classic Pirates sold that good?
  23. I like your crane at the main mast!
