  1. Thanks for the topic - I thought the exact opposite :D
  2. I think the model fits the realistic expectations perfectly.
  3. Okay, step by step: The steering block I was talking about is the one with both sides rounded -> you can see it in image 4. I thought it was missing, but that was a misunderstanding. The missing blocks should be availabe if you chose: New Profile -> Left option "Controller" -> one of the non-customizeable presets -> then go to the coding area of these presets. But I do not think, that you will need those blocks anyway. It's just interesting, that they are missing in the configureable GUI.
  4. The steering block I meant is the double rounded block on image 4, second from right. The [+/-] block and the green one you have posted seem to be only available in the pre-defined "control" presets - looks like a mistake in the configuration of the app - but that's a minor problem I think.
  5. If default blocks are missing: On the buttom right side in the coding area are three dots. If you tap them -> the 3rd symbol from the left changes the number of available blocks. But the motor-steering block is in all modes available. Maybe show a picture of your coding area?
  6. @msk6003 There are basically two or three options: - At program start rotate and detect max position in one direction, set this position to 0° -> use "go to position" to select functions - Use the steering block -> set the target angle as %-value of the total range (- if you use android: use the normally hidden "absolut position block" from other predefined-programs or online sources. Racing brick has a video about hidden blocks)
  7. Maybe the old racers tires with different print ^^.
  8. A single post as database for the next years? :D Not sure about that... Maybe just use brick4.com or atleast spoilers for sorting.
  9. Cada is a brand of the chinese toy company "Double Eagle" (actually a fairly large manufacturer of 'cheaper' RC models). They started to produce "technic like" sets a few years ago. They produce no "clones", but sometimes there products seem "carefully timed" ;D and some parts like the controllers are design-copies eventhough they are not based on infrared xD. The reasons why they are so well known are basically: - no clones - they produce PF compatible electronics with 2.4GHz controller (only digital controls though and the quality was 'meh' - not sure about the current state) - the part quality got better and is now good (besides very few part types) - they coorperate with / hire 'MOC designers' (T-Lego, Eric Trax,...). - they do have official licenses (toyota?, this anime... I forgot the name :D) Whereas the first big models were truly very "MOCish" and also available in rebrickable for example, the newer models cannot be called "MOCs" anymore - it's more like 'contract work'. So it's bascially just a normal Lego-competitor with its own pros and cons :)
  10. Is there an alternative link for instructions? I only found this but it's ridiculously slow and in chinese, no matter what language I chose :<
  11. In this case I would recommend to simply use the PU remote with pybricks or PU app.
  12. https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-technic-2022-neuheiten-sommer-preise/ EU/GER pricings are available and different from US.
  13. I'm still undecided whether the instructions for such a model would be incredibly thin or incredibly thick ;D.
  14. That would fit the track more or less - 56 mm vs 2400 mm But it does not look like there are versions with boom extension that "small". https://www.liebherr.com/external/products/products-assets/173133/liebherr-technical-data-sheet-mobile-crane-195-lr-13000-td-195-01-defisr03-2.pdf But there is a version with stronger main boom and extra counter weight :D. PDB page 14.
  15. There is no calibration for the XL motors. They just drive. Video with timecode:
  16. The procedure in this forum is usually: 1. First leak -> escalation 2. Creating the wildest fantasies 3. Second leak does not match those fantasies -> the great depression 4. Set is released -> it's not like the second leak, but not as good as the wild fantasies -> mediocre mood ;-)
  17. You are not even checking if a motor is damaged? xD
  18. and you can easily add more pneumatics - but we will see....
  19. You do not get this message if you switch both L-motors - because they are both L-motors ;)
  20. I was thinking the same. The relatively new BricQ sets contain those weights. So they are "in production" currently. And the thread must be extremely long :D
  21. What gets "misaligned"? Create a simple PU program to check the motors and if they are connected correctly. tbh it sounds a like a) motor damaged b) gear blocked c) motor at wrong connector
  22. 42053 was a great set. If this goes in the same direction... yay I guess ;)
  23. I only checked the CAT 994K, but atleast this model has "motorized" stairs. One or two hubs only depends on the useability of the model - but there are not that many machines like excavators where you need many functions at the same time and since we just got the 42100... I'm not entirely convinced by the full-RC-thing anyway. Models like 42055 and 42082 are still great and there are ways to benefit from powered up even if the model is not RC.
