Star Wars TIE Fighter collection MOC
macaron35 replied to Mandalorianknight's topic in LEGO Star Wars
so far I have 2 x 75211 Tie fighters and one tie interceptor made from a 75211 using @mcphatty 's design for both and I am desperately waiting for a tie bomber to complete the collection with a consistent size scale.... Ron if you are reading this... ;) I am counting on you mate ;) some MOCs for the bomber are way bigger than what i would expect if the tie was standing next to my tie fighters and tie interceptor -

[MOC] [Instructions] Luke Skywalker's X-34 Landspeeder
macaron35 replied to Tom_Brick's topic in LEGO Star Wars
wow you nailed it I will definitely replace mine by your model :) I will be able to get rid of that ugly salmon-ish landspeeder the only detail that is bugging me (and it's not about your MOC), it was also on the official landspeeders, it's the steering wheel I have to rewatch the scenes but it seems odd to me to have steering on a SW ship by the way, any where to put R2 and C3PO if Luke is sitting next to Obiwan ? -

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Torment

it's way more expensive than pick a brick in store when ordering online, you pay each piece, while in store, you pay for a bucket and you fill as much as you can- 54 replies

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Torment
macaron35 replied to FlyInSpace's topic in LEGO Star Wars
damn, those are among the most expensive parts in the list getting them on the wall would make me save a lot ! edit: the offering seems to differ from one store to another, for instable the lego store in Northern France seems to have tiles if someone can check in Paris Les Halles… thanks :)- 54 replies

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Torment
macaron35 replied to FlyInSpace's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hi guys, any frequent client of lego stores here ? I was wondering if it's possible to pick all the plates and tiles with the pick a brick service ? If so, the cost of building the ship would fall from hundreds of bucks to less than $50 just for these numerous parts ;)- 54 replies

Hi Ron, thank you very much for your reactivity !! That's great to hear. I guess the inside of the ship is too small for minifigs but I belong to those who don't open the ships and put minifigs inside. I will display minifigs in front of the ship. I will be more than happy to build this Tantive, not immediately but it will definitely be on my to-do list :)

well my wife isn't happy either because she can see the results and how much space it is taking. We are moving to a new house in 3 months and in the office, there is a full wall dedicated to Lego shelves. I swore her I would stop but you just forced me to keep going There are 3 ships i want madly, but I didn't buy or build them so far because of their size... the Tantive IV, a ISD and the arquitens class cruiser I can no longer build ships exceeding the length of the Tantive IV because of the lack of space I guess than the inside of the ship is too small / too low to fit minifigs ? Would you mind posting a picture of the Tantive next to a 75211 Tie or a X-Wing and another pic with the Tantive with minifigs ? just to compare sizes I have never built micro or mini before I am trying to figure out how the ship would like compared to others thanks a lot

[MOC] Imperial Star Destroyer - The Torment
macaron35 replied to FlyInSpace's topic in LEGO Star Wars
ok thanks :) is the stand included ? you may consider selling your MOC there because the website sells instructions along with parts to build it: https://buildamoc.com/collections/star-wars I think it's a win-win-win solution: - the website makes money - the MOC's owner sells instructions easily - the buyer gets instructions and parts at once, the process is hassle free instead of sourcing the list on BL with inconsistent prices I can't wait Lego stores to reopen, pick a brick is much cheaper than ordering on BL...- 54 replies
