    found a solution in order to mod the legs and reinforce the strength and stability of the AT-AT unfortunately I am missing pieces so I am ordering on BL urgently to have it standing soon will post the result :)

    ok thanks i'll try that btw, I just finished building the AT-AT.... well... about the legs... I think I will put the walker on a large plate because the legs are not stable enough and the "knees" can easily bend by themselves... I try to put it in a walk position and a few minutes later i literally saw the walker starts bending knees, it simply freaked me out because I am thinking about it crashing down anytime... the legs feel weak compared to the weight they have to carry...

    btw, any idea on how to attach the gun inside/on the side of the AT-AT and have it move/retract itself like on a chopper ? because in the instructionns, it is just holding vertically on a stud

    I guess that missing pieces are so light that it does not change significantly the weight of the bag at the time of control. I have contacted Lego customer service for that. As this was in the very first bag, I am just hoping that no additional piece will be missing in other larger bags. it's a lot of time wasted looking for these pieces. Yesterday I turned my living room upside down to make sure they didn't fall on the ground or slip like in between the couch...

    hi, do you often encounter missing pieces in Lego sets ? I have just opened the 75288 AT-AT and with the very first bag, I am already missing 2 small pieces to build the snowtrooper gun... they are not even rare pieces, just 2 ridiculous pieces to hold the gun I was wondering if robots are filling the bags or humans before they are sealed...

    just bought another old set with snowtroopers and speederbike because the one delivered with the 2020 AT-AT is not very detailed and not very nice compared to the old one and this will make more snowtroopers to go with the AT-AT which has plenty of empty seats (as I will replace the snowtroopers by scout troopers on the bikes)

    thanks for the advice, i'll probably do this for the 75188 Resistance Bomber as I need its parts to build up Starbricks' Bomber I can't wait to move forward with everything i have to build Instead of buying the Assault on Hoth set I am trying to rebuild just the trench + turrets but I made some rookie mistake when using bricklink. I have realized that I never received all the pieces i needed or that I ended up already having the pieces I needed in my stock just because I never sorted them out. So this weekend, I finally did it.

    just spent 2 hours sorting bricks out by color into separate boxes including one just for technic pieces time will come for a task that I fear most... identifying each piece for an inventory would you recommend me a website for that inventory ? bricklink ?

    i would buy the set just for the minifigs and I would build the AT-RT from a MOC because the one from the set is definitely oversized

    is a micro scale ship ? I'm asking because the more I see micro ships the more I like them I might start collecting and building them one day and wondering if this frigate is compatible with them in terms of size/scale

    fantastic I am trying to recreate a very small part of the assault on Hoth (75098) facing AT-AT + AT-DP + AT-ST I hope to have time, budget and enough space to have also a small base in the future

    little question about imperial speeder bike on Hoth... there are several versions and they all come with snowtroopers I was wondering if it would be accurate to replace snowtroopers but scout troopers ? because I was considering snowtroopers on the ground only and scouts on bikes scouts are on bikes in Ep III but it's definitely not winter time

    indeed... and it also depends on if you were interested in getting that lightsaber or not

    it's simply because it's not available in most countries of Asia except Singapore, for example my friends tried to get it in Thailand and they've been told it's not available yet
