  2. Looks good! Are you modeling your MOG after a real one, or just your own idea? tim
  3. Wow nice progress. Do the final gears skip when driving over rough terrain? To me they sem to unbraced for not skipping tim
  4. Please take photos of your build! tim
  5. very nice mechanisms. I like how you showed them in the video! How did you come up with the mechanisms? tim

  9. next update should be more ascetics, which is not my strong suite . tim
  10. Unfortunately the stabilizers will have to be manually controlled . I was originally going to try to do a gearbox similar to the one on the 8043 excavator, but it was taking up to much room so i abandoned the idea. tim
  11. Hello, yet another update . So i finished the front arm. i am not completely happy with the travel of the arm, but the LA's just don't have good travel. But i am happy with the size of the arm. it looks very nice in scale with the back arm. I am also very happy that the bucket can lift the front end off the ground, so when the back stabilizers are lowered, the entire machine is lifted off the ground! Just a detail shot of the LA's attachment. Ohh and i am finally have my channel monetized, so I'm making money off you tube as a teenager !!! http://www.youtube.com/user/timslegos tim
  12. I'm sorry but i don't understand what you mean . tim
  13. Thanks for the kind words . I know what you mean about the sagging arm. This is my first all stud-less build so im trying to keep it mostly stud-less. I think building the rest of the frame will help stiffen it up as well. Tim
  14. Finally an update!!!! Finally i have rebuilt the arm to my liking. I have completely redone the rear excavator arm to include the bend in first arm and to remove a motor from he boom. But now that i have redone the arm, it seems slightly to big for the rest of the chassis . What do you all think? I tried making the arm similar to Jurgen's, without completely copying his design . The new arm also folds up very nicely. The new arm has a super long reach. Longer than the entire chassis! Is that prototypical? Finally, a detail photo of the arm hinge and attachment point. I had to be a little cleaver to fit all the motors and gearing in . Please tell me what you think!! tim
  15. Very nice attachment, and very original. Its to bad those sweepers are so small. tim
  16. I really like the look of this efferman! It looks more like the real thing. Have you tried the chained tire mod someone else posted earlier in this thread? It would go very well with your plow. I like this version as well. Do the rims extend to far out from the wheel? tim
  17. Yes i guess they were obvious, haha sorry. Very nice creation anyway!! Please make a video when you get back! tim
  18. Very nice creation!! I have never seen something like this before and it is perfectly executed!! Would you mind sharing what the functions are exactly? Or post a video? tim
  19. I have been dating my girlfriend for almost 9 months now, and i told her about my lego obsession as well. Believe it or not she loved Lego when she was a kid to!! Anyway, she is very supportive of my hobby and she actually takes interest in it. I guess its good to be upfront with people, before they find out about it for themselves. tim
  20. Cant wait to see more!! Don't forget to take lots of detailed pictures! tim
  21. Wow very impressive MOC. It looks very good for its small size. Is there a video? tim

With all the school work of being in accelerated classes and then soccer games/practices everyday i have very little time as of now. I stil have time to build late at night once everything is done, but not enough time to post pictures. Sorry to keep you all waiting . tim
