  1. Looks very nice. I assume you plan to built it in real bricks?
  2. I have no inside knowledge on this, but I can state that in my local area there always seems to be stock of really old sets on the shelves of most stores that carry Lego. Generally still sitting there at full MSRP as well. As an example, the 75218 X-Wing set (Biggs & Luke) was still sitting at full price after Christmas in some of my local stores, even after Lego discontinued it on their own site and reduced the price to $79.99 (Canadian) from $99.99. Take that for what you will. Cheers
  3. Great rendition of the scene. Did you use any parts or procedures from the official Lego set, or all your own work? Cheers
  4. Beautiful, well except for all the bodies scattered around. Cheers
  5. I really like it. Great capture of the scene.
  6. Very, very nice!
  7. I have not seen the brick-built Bantha in person yet. The pictures look good though, and I very much like the brick-built Dewback. Great ideas for some head to head Microfighter sets. I will have to think on a few. Cheers
  8. No quite true. The birck-built version of the Bantha is available now. Since it is available through a set (aka they have a design), not sure if we will ever see a molded one like the old Dewbacks. Cheers
  9. I don't know if we will or will not. I agree with you though that a new model is needed. Cheers
  10. Agreed on that. I have thought about possible future sets in a modular format for the Death Star, Hoth, Bespin and Endor much like is being done here. Of course, official Lego sets would never have so much detail due to the retail cost, but we can dream. Great work. Cheers
  11. I believe you are correct. I have not seen the film in a little bit, but my recollection is that only Luke and Dak's is grey, probably to pick it out in the crowd on screen. A quick google image search and visit to Wookiepedia and the Star Wars databank also seem to support only one grey snowspeeder with all the rest having the orange markings. That all said, I will defer to anyone who has studied this more closely and who has seen the film recently to refresh their memory. Cheers
  12. I would buy into that set. Cheers
  13. Saw the sale, but had already purchased the sets in question earlier. Kicking myself as I could have saved even more than I did when I purchased the sets during other sales. That said, who was to know that a) they would still have stock, and b) thta they would discount so heavily at this late date. Oh well. Congratulations on the deals you got and enjoy. Cheers
  14. Not an expert on the rank insignia, but I think you have an error or disconnect somwehere in your Non-Com section there Darth Bjorn. Colonel is not a Non-Commissioned rank in any military structure in the real world, and I don't believe in the Star Wars universe as well. Listing Juno Ecipse (I think that is the mini-fig) as a Non-Com is therefore an error. Of course, the subject matter is not always the greatest, there was the Return of the Jedi costuming error where all Imperial Officers on screen were given the same rank plaques. If a source somewhere calls Juno a non-com, is that now Legends continuity as well? Just some thoughts to help you improve on an otherwise very impressive collection and chart. Cheers
  15. I can't speak for the UK, but here in Canada the set was on 30% off at ShopLEGO and physical LEGO stores this past weekend as part of a VIP promotion. It sold out quickly, as did the UCS Y-Wing Starfighter. Might not be the news you want to hear, as it may already be gone in your area as well. Cheers
  16. Yes, well aware of that. There was speculation that it might stick around a bit longer in stores due to poor sales. The 30% off this weekend appears to have dealt with that. Cheers
  17. Yes, Cloud City is showing sold out for the LEGO Store in Canada, and as you say Terrasher, likely will not be restocked. I suppose for anyone interested in getting it they need to check out their local bricks & mortar LEGO store to see if there is a copy in stock.
  18. Like your other models, very nice. Interested in seeing the rest of what you come up with. Are you going to try the Ion Cannon?
  19. Very nice. Also looking forward to whatever else you add of Echo Base.
  20. Very nice models. Great work!
  21. My wallet would certainly feel better with only one or two waves per year. That said, I watch for sales aggressively to keep costs down, but it would be even easier with just one less wave on shelves in a year. Cheers
  22. Thanks both. Seen the prequels a couple of times, but that quote obviously did not stick with me.
