There are a few different versions of the Green Lantern logo. They way I made the banners, by making them large in paint and then resizing in irfanview, meant that I needed a bigger logo. So, I had to resort to that one.

Just don't break the rules and it'll be fine! *sweet* You have some very impressive customizing skills, which I'd like to see put to use in the Create A Hero Contest, and I'm sure you'll have a great entry. :-)

I did it early this morning Yoda, as KhoRne pointed out. Um, I guess custom capes are the same as MMCB capes, so... I don't see why not. And no, paint jobs are not allowed.

Well, although we're not allowing copy-cat heros, a bit of news from Redbean Studio here. They've got a groovy cool new lineup, including a Wolverine like Mask. Sadly only available after Brickfest, but it still leaves time to enter our contest. I'm very happy to see such a cool accessory! The above image also demonstrates the sort of hero we are after. Something that doesn't have the same kind of colours or design as existing heros, but can be recognised. Although the Wolverine mask does sort of, um, not support our rules. But you get the picture.

Brickarms is a relatively new company that sells modern weaponry. It can be found on bricklink I think and on BrickArms.com. They look pretty good, and have a very high quality apparently.

I don't know the character, but I do know you have accomplished a fantastic fusion MoC. The Bionicle parts really help posability and eliminate almost impossible jobs that would have relied on bricks. I've never seen a MoC of yours before so this is enlightening. Post more!

Joey and I thought long and hard about what to allow, and decided that by disallowing too much customization we would be promoting purist techniques which could potentially be more impressive and effective than customization. You've still got stickers to make those lightening ears. :-) And yes, an oversite on our part, Brickarms are allowed. Sorry if any confusion was caused. Joe will update the post soon. I thought Iron Condor sounded the best. Might be a mech for Hikaru. Should be a good year next year.
