  1. The MCN invasion continues... Welcome aboard, Ollie!
  2. I enjoyed this the last time, and I enjoyed it again. Great stuff.
  3. Really? How is the Arbiter figure better? I don't own him, you see, and I was thinking of getting him sometime.
  4. I see no reason why you can't have a Batman-Beyond type hero or a hero of the past. Both of those can be very cool. Plus, we never said anything about it in the rules so... I'm looking forward to all the entries.
  5. Joey and I will be visiting the MK LEGO Store on Friday and so should be able to report any news.
  6. These are my pathetic attempts. Only the last one, Pizza Boy, has a name so far. I'll be posting him as a mock entry in the other thread as an example. This is great news, Yoda. I'm glad you recovered your files. X-D
  7. I was very happy with the Super Nova, as can be seen in my review in the space/mecha section. However, there were some areas I wanted to try and improve upon, and so I did. I've since made more changed, which I will post sometime this week. Here, I gave him a new gun based upon another design I found online, beefed up his body, changed a few things around and gave him a Scimitar instead of the Forked staff. I also changed the wing setup, which I think looks better. I hope I improved it well. *sweet* You should notice that some pics show the gun that came in the set. This is because these pictures were taken over a period of time, and so this and several other differances can be seen. Gallery when moderated.
  8. So, inspired by the White Ruins by JoeMI6, and with his approval, I set out to make a larger structure set on a Halo. When I'd finished, and mostly because of the Holographic Halo at the human occupied end, I decided this would be a map-room or as the Covenant say Silent Cartographer. Here, you can see the battle that rages between the Marines and Orbital Drop Shock Troopers or the UNSC, and the Covenant. You can find the entire gallery here when moderated.
  9. Yup, I'll be posting 3 entries (not real, examples) so you can see what the us hosts can do which is probably alot less than some of you!
  10. Yeah, despite the glaring typo, those are really good. :-D
  11. But when new sets are coming out all the time, and at varying times across the world, it can be hard to obtain the very latest figs. Perhaps he made this claim when he WAS in possesion of all the figs, before the newer ones had come out yet. But I digress... Amazing collection though.
  12. Beast and the Harlot - Avenged Sevenfold.
  13. Problem with a sequel contest featuring villains is that it would be hard to choose prizes for. Possibly the Catwoman film, since that is both about a Batman villain and it bad in it's own right. ;-) Alternatively, we could give away other bad films on DVD. We'll think about it, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here.
  14. Me too, probably. I need to get at least 1 pirate ship.
  15. The sound of humming-My PC.
  16. It's great to see we've sparked off everyone to not only enter but to make their own banners to. I'm a little overwhelmed by it all really. I never expected the contest to take off like it has. This doesn't mean that you've gotta bring it crashing down again. ;-)
  17. What country is this available for? I also don't think it's entirely new, although certian parts look familiar.
  18. I've always admired your custom work, and I especially love your vibroblades. They're excellent. Yet again, a new member from MCN joins us on Eurobricks. Welcome aboard Victor! :-)
  19. I watched Airplane 2: The Sequal on Sunday, which was supposed to be quite bad but it was actually quite good. Sure, it reussed some of the olf jokes but they were used in different situations. Sure, there was no Leslie Nielson. But, it was still funny. Not as funny as the first, but it had some great gags there so overall worthwhile. And there was nothing else on.
  20. I forgot about Friends. Yes, over here there always seems to be one of the channel 4s (4, E4, E4+1) that is rerunning the old ones. Needless to say, I watch it quite alot.
  21. Well, I can totally understand. I wouldn't enter if I were in that situation either, but I'd try to post the fig even if I didn't enter. I hope you're PC's ok, though, as we'd love to have you in the contest.
  22. Greetings residents of Europe and the rest of the world. Today I've finally decided to post my review of the Halo 2 Ranger Elite figure that I recieved in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Back View Side View The Ranger Elite stands at rougly 10 inches tall, 2 inches more than the series 4 Master Chief. As you can imagine, this creates a large contrast and boosts the Elite's intimidation factor. Lets leave the comparison for later, though, as first I'd like to write about the figure alone. In this picture, you can see the posability of the Ranger Elite. He has 18 points of articulation, although his leg movement is limited as he has to be stabe despite his unusual anatomy. His PoA: Ankles Knees Hips Waist Tilting upper body Shoulders Biceps Elbows Wrists Lower Neck Upper Neck These are illustrated in the following pictures. Full Body Shot. Arm Detail Leg Detail Torso Detail Head and Neck Detail Also included in the box are 2 plasma rifles which can be placed in the rubbery hands of the Ranger Elite to simulate their use of weapontry in the game. In addition to all the other guns in the Halo 2 Series, these are interchangable with other characters and all the figures can carry any of the weapons (except Grunts and Possibly the Flood combat form). This means higher playability and more fun. Weapons Switched. Now, back to the comparisons with the Master Chief. I figured this would be simpler to do with pictures than words, so I snapped a few pics showing just what these 2 figures look like together and the level over posability. Ranger Elite wubs MC <3 MC doesn't wub Ranger Elite </3 MC and Ranger Elite are tired out. Finally, I'd like to point out one detail the Joyride could have left out, but didn't. Beneath the goggles, one can see the eye of the Elite inside the suit. A bad quality pic illustrating this. Along with the eye, details like detailed soles of the Elite's feet and blue lines to define the muscles make this fig what it is. Superb. If you like Halo, or if you just like the look of it, look on eBay. It's worth the
  23. You have no idea how hard it is to find a Spiderman logo. X-Men sort of has a logo (although it really is just the name X-Men), same for the Hulk, Daredevil has a logo, Fantastic 4 has a logo, Punisher has a Logo... but not many more that I know.
  24. I like watching people squirm. There's some stuff on there which is unbelieveable, and you get the most ugly people on there... like Jerry Springer and other such talk shows. To tell the truth, I didn't like it to begin with but if I find it on the chances are I'll watch it.
  25. Well, I've seen hero's in suits of techno armour. Iron Man, Man Bot from Freedom Force... Please do enter, as long as it's minifig scale! :-)
