What can I say...

Again I must take charge of the contest until Sunday as Joe is off in France (members beware). Direct all your questions to me. As such, I can't add any banners to the first post but please post.

Thanks Joe. I'm glad I could build your thoughts. X-D

That really is excellent. I've only played the game a couple of times, but this is very accurate and clever in it's construction. *y* from me. Keep up the great vigs! EDIT: You've got mutha******' snakes on your mutha******' vig!

Deconstructor has one amazing weapon I may have to copy and give to my Viking leader. ;-) My favourite fig, though, is the Gunslinger. He just looks so... badass. And I like that torso... Great job overall!

Wow, thanks! I wouldn't have expected anyone to advertise the contest if the weren't going to enter. Still, it's great!

I'm having difficulties naming and coming up with abilities for a superhero I made. It's easier said than done. Looking forward to new entries guys!

Lord Thrawn replied to Morgan19's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I pointed this out to Joe. Seems we have to thank bluemoose for this. Great MoC, by the way. *sweet* -
Yeah, thanks... I've not cut my nails recently. I really must get around to that. :-$ I could use those scissors, Cutty. ;-) Thanks for the comments guys, I'm glad you like the review.

we anticipate your entry, Matt. I'm glad we've finally got some entries. I think the standard so far is very high, so pat yourselves on the back (those who have entered ;-)).

This isn't the Google game, Kiku. :-P

What was the last movie you watched?
Lord Thrawn replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I watched The Matrix (still the best of the Trilogy) for the first time (I'd seen all of it in bits before) and I really enjoyed it. It has some amazing combat, brilliant SFX for the time and it made Keanu Reaves look cool which is truly astounding. Great movie. -
Plus, it's dishonest abusing the part replacement.

Custom cloth accessories are allowed. This was intended by the cape rule. And too right. We want as many entries as you can, and we'll judge them all fairly. And besides, if it comes in now we'll have more time to appreciate it. So post away everyone! EDIT: We've got our first entry, which is looking great, but we need more. Post away guys and gals!

Ok, so I got some vouchers on the loyalty card at LEGOso I bought this and a KK2:2 set. But I decided since I forgot to open this set on that day I would preserve it and open it when reviewing it for an authentic reviewing experience. To start off with, I examined the box. It features a CG version of the set, featuring stickers, on a blurred night-time 'highway'. I use inverted commas because it seems like a very American term to me, as we can them motorways. Anyways, back on topic, the back displays the combiner with 8662, which looks only slightly odd. ;-) Front Back The contents of the box are the instructions, a sticker sheet and the bag. THe great thing about these small sets is that you can build the set in the bag, for that extra challenge. This was the first set I bag-built and I hae to say, it's harder than it looks. Stickers Bag-Built Set I left the stickers off as they would have gone over multiple pieces which isn't desirable, but it is not that detrimental to the looks of the set. It allows the pieces that would otherwise have been printed to be used in other models where perhaps they would not have fit if printed. I'm also not so sure eal squad cars look like the Highway Enforcer, but it still looks fitting. The Car Itself Side view. In comparison to the small collection of small-car sets I have, the police car is to scale with the yellow racer. It fits nicely here and could be used to simulate the cops chasing down a boy racer. With the other cars. He's been pulled over. The parts selection is excellent, with many small parts and most importantly trans-black/brown 1x1 slopes, a MoCer's brick of choice recently. 3 bricks are left spare at the end. Parts Left-overs All in all, this set gets my thumbs up. Buy it, it's not expensive, and vroom is around your living room!

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN EXAMPLE ENTRY. IT WILL NOT BE JUDGED. He's on the far right. Hero Name: Pizza Boy Secret Identity: Giovanni Garibaldi Powers/Weapons/Abilities: Dough like qualities (can stretch, take up many shapes etc.) and can fashion a weapon made of dough at his convenience. Other Details: Giovanni Garibaldi always wanted to be a fashion designer, and his keen sense of style was released upon the world in his Pizza Boy costume. Origin Story: What began, dear reader, as a typical day for Giovanni Garibaldi soon turned bad. Upon turning up late at the pizza restaurant where he worked, he was fired from his job and stripped of his lucky paddle. The bad then became the worse, as the evil genius Fortissimo destroyed the pizza restaurant, crushing Giovanni and covering him in dough as fires broke out around him. Under this extreme pressure, Giovanni changed for the better, in a turn of events that would make rest of the day pale in comparison. Giovanni Garibaldi emerged from the rubble, imbued with the amazing and unexpected powers of

Just a note to everyone following the contest, I'll be the only host around (at least until later tonight) as for the past couple of days Joe has been experiencing internet troubles. Any questions you have through PM should be directed to me if you had asked him until his return. Because of his absense, the topic post will not be updated if any changes must be made until he returns. I've also come up with a name for the woman superhero. Delta Girl. EDIT:Joey is back with a vengeance. ;-)
