There was actually a buildable Niffler that was a Wizarding World giveaway a while back. Don't think I've seen the instructions online though. -

For $470 I'm hoping Lego are doing what should have been in the main Diagon Alley set... Gringotts. So I'm hoping it's a Diagon Alley expansion including: - Gringotts, with Bellatrix's vault and plenty of roller-coaster pieces - The Ukrainian Ironbelly to perch on top of Gringotts - Borgin & Burkes, because it'd be nice to have some Knockturn Alley - The Leaky Cauldron, considering we basically don't see people drinking in the film I don't see why they can't make it. Have the room Harry stays in, the main bar for some Weasley family, and maybe the room where Fudge talks to Harry. And then I'd have either Madam Malkin's Robes for all occasions, where book Harry first meets Draco. Or The Magical Menagerie, which I think we see the front of in PS, although that could be Eyelops Owl Emporium. Still don't get why Lego made Scribbulus and the Daily Prophet Door in the DA set since neither appear in the book, and left out probably the most iconic building of Gringotts. -

Impressive, I ended up just paying the £10 in The Works (UK shop) ss I couldn't see it lower anywhere and the Tom Riddle fig is pretty much spot on. Plus I like the book a lot more than I thought I would, the pictures are all high quality, so I don't feel like I've wasted my money. I think I'll only buy Percy if I can get him for about £4 though, like a CMF fig. -

It's a shame he didn't get much screen time in the film, considering he's a big part of the books, with him being assistant to Barry Crouch Senior, working for Fudge (which you see in OotP but he doesn't say one line), then his return to the Weasley family in Deathly Hallows which was glossed over entirely. Also, last time I reread (relistened to the excellent Stephen Fry audio book) I realised that Percy is basically a major suspect as he keeps cropping up and his (later revealed) girlfriend Penellope Clearwater gets petrified. -

Thoughts on the Percy minifigure: - Like the torso print, great that they included the Prefect badge, interesting that his has a double clasp unlike everyone else's - Great reuse of the robe print legs - The face print is okay, not super like the actor but I like getting a new face print like that - Not sure about the hair piece, I think it maybe looks a bit too curly if it's for film Percy My main issue is that this is in a book. Why can't Lego just have more sets that don't always have Harry, Ron & Hermione. Like maybe just have one or two of them, but we don't need the trio in every one as it means characters like Percy get tossed to the side. -

A set of Bill and Fleur's wedding is something I've wanted for a little while. Especially as it means we could get Bill Weasley, Xenophilius Lovegood and Elphias Doge, all characters I don't think we've ever had. -

I really like everything we've gotten that's Lego Fantastic Beasts themed. The cmf figs were great, the suitcase was a really fun build. Even the dimensions storypack set is nice (I have it despite not having the game itself). I hope we get at least one Secrets of Dumbledore set. Or even another Crimes of Grindelwald set, personally I'd love a Zouwu build (the giant catlike creature) maybe with part of the Circus Arcanus. -

Ah, I don't have the set so didn't know whether it was a new colour or not. I quite like the piece (in the white clear) as it's good for putting candles in to look like they're floating. -

Interesting new set. Not that keen on the minifigures I think the brighter colours contrast a bit too much from all the other robes we've had in the past few years. Like that new chest lid piece, the print for the Bertie Botts box is nice (would've maybe preferred it on a cream or yellow brick though). The owl is also cool. Is that a new colour of the desert bowl piece that first came with Ginny in the cmf series 2? Weird how this is now the third new version of the Marauder's Map and the Advanced Potion making book. Idk why they changed the size of the map, and why couldn't we get 1000 magical herbs and fungi instead of the potions book but in a wrong colour. Something about all the hair colours and stickers make it all feel a bit cartoonish (and not in a good way) and puts me off a bit. Judging by what the price might be anyway I might steer clear. -

Myrtle is defo in my top 5 HP minifigures. While I don't have a Nearly Headless Nick I think both the white and glow in the dark versions are great. I don't mind that Myrtle is blue because that's how she looks in the films especially in Goblet. The cmf 2 Dumbledore is also great, glad we got that new hair/hat piece and a new Fawkes. I was also pleased with Dobby and Griphook, and I hope we get Kreacher in the future too. -

It really is tricky. Even though the Diagon Alley set was out of my budget I was still annoyed it didn't have Gringotts in it considering it might be the most iconic building in DA. I think for a set we might get the main interior with high ceilings and a chandelier in the middle. Then maybe a little bit of track that runs from the top of the build to the bottom, a little like the Joker's mansion but only on the interior. Then you can have a side build of Bellatrix's vault with some play functions to release gold studs to look like the gemini curse, maybe one bit have have a rising platform all made of gold and silver parts. -

Albert Runcorn is who Harry poses as when they sneak into the Ministry of Magic in Deathly Hallows. And I agree that the new Gordon torso print would work for that -

I always thought Grimmauld Place would be great for the Advent Calendar (I'm still a bit annoyed that this year's is so un-festive) but I'm coming round to the idea of a full build for Grimmauld Place. I don't know about a full D2C build, as they're a bit out of my price range, plus I don't know interesting the exterior can be (especially as it's between other houses so it might look odd by itself). But they could do a nice ground floor kitchen and living room (with piano), then first floor with the Black family tapestry, the painting of Mrs Black on the stairs. Honestly as Krimimimi showed there's a ton of little details from the book that could be included. -

I just got the Ginny cmf fig yesterday, and yeah I can see that working for Trelawney. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a new print on the Trelawney hairpiece. I hope there's an alternate face of Trelawney when she goes into full genuine prediction mode. (although basically all her predictions are actually true) The moments sets I think are fun ideas, but I probably would prefer full sets of some of the classrooms. DADA and Divination were two that I thought would be great for the moments (I also thought they could do Care of Magical Creatures and a Flying Lesson, but the latter we did actually get a full set of). The boggart inhabited wardrobe I think is a build quite a lot want. And I personally would like a chalkboard build with either the three unforgivable curses (and Moody's name) or what OWLs stand for from Order of the Phoenix. I'm not that bothered abut a giant clown jack in the box though. -

I agree. They could even do the strange Sirius face in the crystal ball like in the film. -

Thought I'd way in on the new sets. Defence Against the Dark Arts book: Sounds exactly what I wanted in another book. In fact I had already thought about this as a build. It'd be great if there was the dragon skeleton as a sticker, The bogart inhabited wardrobe as a build, Moody & Umbridge's chalkboard. Divination book: Another one I'm excited for. Teacups and crystal balls are a must. I'd love to see a book of Unfogging the Future included too. Also in the books Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown are massive Divination fans so I'm happy with Parvati being one of the characters included. Hospital Wing: I'm glad we're getting a set of the Hospital Wing, there better be Madam Pomfrey. A bottle of Skelegrow would be fun too. It's said to connect to the Chamber of Secrets set, so I hope it isn't just a box shape like the girls bathroom build. Hogwarts suitcase: I liked what Fantastic Beasts did with Newt's suitcase. I don't know how this one will turn out though. It'll be interesting to see what's actually in this set. -

Oh god. I've never bought a set that big, or one that costs £82.99 but if I'm saving £47 I'm really tempted. -

Well there was an older set (I think 2010?) with Voldemort, Harry, Hagrid and Narcissa Malfoy with a little forest bit. So it's not out of the realms of possibility for a darker set based of Deathly Hallows. -

When we got the bogart Snape in the Bricktober pack, it kinda crushed my hopes for a DADA classroom. I did have the idea though that if they make anymore of the Book sets, they could do the DADA classroom and include the wardrobe where the bogart is, the record player, moody's/umbridge's chalkboard and other details, maybe one of the top sticker panels has the dragon skeleton. As for the third task, we did kind of get it with the rise of Voldemort set, and we got the Cedric outfit from that taks in the cmf, so I don't really want to see them reused. Plus I don't think Lego would put the sphinx in a set as it wasn't in the films. Second task though, I hope Lego will do again, and maybe we can finally get Karkaroff. -

Woah they look lovely. Before Harry Potter first came back there were two aspects that I hoped would improve. One was the wands which I'm glad they found a way to make them more posable with the ball like joints at the bottom. The other was broomsticks, I was hoping they'd either make them thin like bike seats near the base so minifigs could sit on them. Or make them like tail pieces that fit between the leg and torso piece. I wonder if they chose not to as figures wouldn't be able to hold onto the handle, or if it'd end up looking a bit phallic. -

I was never fully drawn to the Diagon Alley set. Mainly because they didn't include Gringotts which I think is one of the most important and iconic buildings. And I think Weasley Wizard Wheezes is just so detailed in the book and film that Lego would've never been able to include everything. -

I do think it's odd that we had a partial remake of the Great Hall in the new Chamber of Secrets set, and now another Hedwig build in this latest set. -

Eh, it all kind of looks cool, but only the Hedwig looks like a cool build. Tbh I do really like the chocolate frog card build. Glad to see a golden Dumbledore, McGonagal and Hagrid too. -

I always thought Lego were taking the mick by making a big expensive Diagon Alley and then not include Gringotts.
