  1. I feel the same way. I hope it sells really well and LEGO continues to support this theme. I would love a Dune book nook and it seems like a whole new market they can tap into where they wouldn't need to build massive playsets.
  2. I was concerned reading the reviews about the build and how it looks in person but I was very pleased with how it looked when placed in my bookshelf. This is exactly what I was hoping for when I first started to hear rumors about this set.
  3. Incredible. Thank you for sharing these impressive creations! Are you already planning the next addition?
  4. If you are a big MCU fan it is a must have. There are a ton of Easter eggs included in the set, a bunch of great minifigs, and it is an awesome display piece. My recommendation is to keep the Great Deku Tree and display it next to your Avenger's Tower.
  5. What if it was like the World Map set and literally a map of Middle-earth? I don't think I would particularly enjoy that as a set (my preference would be a highly detailed Bag End with the full compliment of Dwarves) but it would still end up on my wall.
  6. This is incredible. The attention to detail and variety is impressive and I love the lights in the caves to add to the overall environment.
  7. It is interesting to consider what LEGO may do with this theme in the future based on the two released sets. I've read that the previous iteration of the theme sold poorly (I can't back this up, just what I've read here) but Rivendell and Barad-dûr are big sellers. What would a 5500 piece Bag End look like? Would Minas Tirith work with the scale they have used so far? I can think of dozens of scenes that would work in the style of #77015 or #75353. Gandalf vs. the Balrog with "You shall not pass!" as the quote, or Arwen vs. the Ringwraiths with "If you want him, come and claim him!". They could make those things for years.
  8. This is an amazing design! You placed great details throughout the interior, as well.
  9. Now would be a great time for an updated Firehouse Headquarters. The 2016 version is great but I'm sure a refresh would be popular with collectors. Looking at the various versions of sets like the Millennium Falcon or Hogwarts Express shows that it isn't outside the realm of possibility for licensed sets to be revisited, even without new films to generate interest.
  10. MagnePulse Xcelerator - Oky M-Tron Mobile Recon Fighter - jkupitz79 Solar Surveyor - The Librarian
  11. I saw the Ninjago City Markets leak last night right before I fell asleep and when I woke up I thought it was just a dream. Dreams do come true.
  12. Looks like I'll have to keep waiting for another Ninjago City expansion.
  13. Why not Smaug and his gold hoard? After you build Smaug the instructions are just 40 pages of removing gold coins from the sprue and dumping them on the dragon. Bilbo is not included because he is wearing the ring.
  14. If it was a giant destroyed Battle of New York with a crashed Chitauri Leviathan that connected to the other modular buildings I would be interested.
