Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
calebcold3 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
IDK if you all follow the rumors around CBMs, but this particular Gambit user is giving me vibes of those “scoopers” like MTTSH or Daniel RPK who throw something at the wall and hope it sticks 😂 Of course, I would love A Sentinel set (I think it seems likely given patterns in the past) but if it happens then I think the user would be considered lucky instead of him actually knowing stuff, just like how those “scoopers” about CBMs give out info. -

With the X-Mansion revealed, I know none of us on this forum have the set yet obliviously, but how would you all rank the LEGO Marvel Modular collection? I'd Say (Best To Worst): Bugle > X-Mansion > Avengers Tower > Sanctum Bugle is Perfect, with X-Mansion and Avengers Tower being Near Perfect. I was pretty underwhelmed by the Sanctum personally, but that's just me. -

I feel like, rather if you love or hate them, the mechs are here to stay. Apparently they sell well with the kids. They seem like the Superhero equivalent of battle packs for Star Wars. -

Apparently the solo Construction figure sets (Like those Ant-Man, Captain America, etc ones) are gonna die after next year according to that Sentinel set guy. Even though it’s best to take it with a grain of salt, I can already hear the cheering in this forum. -

Oh ok I wasn't taking your comment 100% personally, but thank you for confirming to not take it personal haha. Like you said, the list I made is what I feel like we could reasonably expect and I agree, I feel like they've done pretty much what they could do with construction figures (not counting ones like Surtur) and buildable objects. One or two every other year is fine, but I agree with what you said, it can get tiring after a while. -

Btw, A new LEGO Spider-Man book is coming in May 2025. https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/781828/lego-marvel-spider-man-explore-the-spider-verse-by-dk/ It will have an exclusive minifigure. I wouldn't get my hopes up too high but I am curious to see what the exclusive figure will be. -

Of course it wouldn't be the worst LEGO Marvel year ever because we're getting a ATSV set and A comic F4 set in the first half of the year. Those 2 sets alone will make next year a pretty good year for the theme (I hope). Even if the entire set wave of the second half of 2025 were Venomized vehicles, I'd still be satisfied that we're getting the two sets I mentioned in the first half of the year. LMAO I didn't know y'all would hate my predicted list that much. It's not what I would personally want from the latter half of next year, but just what I thought was likely given the patterns and trends on what we've been getting these last few years. Please don't kill me I wouldn't personally want only 3-4 reused figures with the Sentinel. I just thought it was likely just like how the Leviathan this year only gave us reuses. I guess I quote MJ when I say "Expect disappointment and you won't be disappointed". I would love a Jubilee figure in the potential Sentinel set, but that's just screaming for me to quote MJ again. -

Since we know and have hints of what 5/16 of those sets are going to be, and because I'm bored and using what you have here, like you said it's based on patterns we've been getting for the last few years, here's my predictions for the rest of the 2025 LEGO Marvel sets for the later half of the year: Buildable Vulture (MCU) Figure (Credit to ToaDraco for the idea) Buildable Spider-Gwen Figure Buildable Spider-Man 2099 Figure Miles Morales Mask (Similar to 76285) 4+ Iron Man Hall of Armor (similar to the Batcave one this year and I'm surprised we've never gotten a 4+ Hall of Armor yet) A X-Men vs Sentinel Set (a near identical similar build to the one in the X-Mansion with 3-4 reused minifigures) A Endgame Battle Pack (with Chitauri, other wise I would be surprised) Buildable Adult Groot (From GOTG Vol.1, similar build to the Chewie set, but would hopefully be not as creepy as that set) Stormbreaker Model (that goes well next to the Mjnoir model from 2022, and would hopefully include a Infinity War Thor Minifigure) X-Men Advent Calendar UCS Helicarrier (Similar to the 2015 build just like how the 2021 UCS Tumbler was similar to the 2014 UCS Tumbler) Let's see how well/poorly my list prediction ages as the months goes on haha. -

Brave New World is getting sets (the overpriced jet and I assume the Buildable Sam Cap) in December, so the other movie set for 2025 is either F4 or Thunderbolts. Also, we usually get winter leaks around Late Summer/Early Fall. -

So we now know 76312 is the Hulk Monster Truck, 76315 is the Hall of Armor IIRC, 76316 is the comic F4 set, and then two of those numbers are the Endgame Final Battle and a movie set (either F4 or Thunderbolts). With the other 11 sets, you're probably right on the money on the guesses: 3 buildable figures, 1 advent calendar, 2 more buildable objects, 1 4+ set, at least one D2C, an X-Men vs Sentinel set hopefully, and 2 more Legacy sets should be able to make the last half of 2025. -

Yeah, that quote about there being one set based on a Marvel movie pretty much implies that we're only getting one set based on an MCU movie next year and it's obvious it will be F4. I think it's an easy set to imagine. It'll probably be around $90-$100 and include the Fantasticar and a Galactus built like the construction figures and include 4-5 minifigures. But anyways, RIP Thunderbolts* sets. -

Honestly I have been getting a feeling that we aren't gonna get any Thunderbolts sets at all. I feel like we would've heard something by now if we are now getting news about Spring sets, which apparently includes the F4: First Steps set. -

Yeah, Marvel hasn’t ever had a new character included in an Advent Calendar, and it would surprise me if they started to do that with an X-Men advent calendar tbh. Honestly I feel like an X-Men Advent Calendar is such a No Brainer with figures and builds: Like Have 5-6 minifigures (Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Gambit, Rogue, Charles) with two of them wearing Christmas sweaters. Have the builds be a mini X-Jet, Mini X-Mansion, a Wind-up Sentinel, a kitchen build like you were saying (maybe throw in a Soda can on the table for a little X2 reference), and so on. It would surprise me if LEGO skipped out on doing an X-Men Advent Calendar next year. -

Well said, I didn't hate the Thunderbolts trailer, but I just found it to be a big "meh". You make a good point with the Star-Lord Vol.3 quote at the end of that Guardians 3 teaser, because it feels like Thunderbolts* is trying so hard to be a GOTG/TSS movie but without the charm and writing of Gunn. I don't want to sound like a doomer, but I think Thunderbolts would be lucky to make HALF of Guardians 3's Worldwide Box Office. The only movies that I can say impressed me after Phase 3 were No Way Home, Guardians 3, and Deadpool and Wolverine. and The only MCU future movies I can say I'm looking forward to are Fantastic Four (it can't be worse than Fan4stic... right?) and MCU Spidey 4. I am cautiously optimistic about the two Avengers movies since the Russos are directing them but it's obvious desperation/break in case of emergency. Assuming we get an X-Men themed advent calendar next year, I feel like we will get a bunch of reuses from the X-Mansion with 1-2 characters using a Christmas sweater, but that comic cover is good inspiration. I feel like a good build in the X-Men Advent calendar would be a Christmas themed wheelchair for Charles. That would be cute. -

So I'm guessing set numbers 76305 and 76306 are Thunderbolts* sets? Those two numbers are set numbers that are in the middle of the 2025 LEGO Superheroes set number list that haven't been revealed yet (76304 is probably a Gunn Superman set). Besides the Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four: First Steps sets, What are some sets do you think are likely for Summer 2025? For the later half of next year (Summer 2025 wave), I feel like we could likely get, based on LEGO trends recently with Superheroes: Miles Morales Mask (Similar to 76285) 4+ Iron Man Hall of Armor (similar to the Batcave one this year and I'm surprised we've never gotten a 4+ Hall of Armor yet) A Sentinel Set (a near identical similar build to the one in the X-Mansion with 3-4 reused minifigures) Buildable Adult Groot (From GOTG Vol.1) -

I have a feeling that next year in the Summer wave, we will get a Sentinel set that includes a Sentinel build nearly identical to the one in the X-Mansion set (similar to how 76224 Batmobile was near identical to the one in the Shadow Box Batcave and how the 76290 Leviathan is near identical to the one in the Avengers Tower). And of course it would have some minifigures reused from the X-Mansion to cut costs, just like what's been happening with minifigures from Avengers Tower. Also, It would make sense, $$$ wise for LEGO, as people would now be able to army build Sentinels. -

We don't know the entire set list for LEGO Marvel 2025 though. For all we know we could get 2 X-Men sets next summer (unlikely but still) I think it's likely we could get a X-Men Advent Calendar and a Sentinel set (similar to the one in the blurry X-Mansion images) with 3-4 minifigures next year tbh. BUT I would like an X-Men CMF. IDK how likely it is tbh though, -

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Apparently, word on the street is that Blade and Armor Wars will have their fates decided soon on if they are to move forward or be cancelled. Blade has had many MANY production troubles and we haven't heard a thing about Armor Wars in like 2-3 years, so It's not surprising at all that they are likely to be cancelled, especially given Marvel's very rocky years post-Endgame. Obviously, MCU Blade was never getting sets as Marvel was wanting to make the film R Rated, but Armor Wars I honestly feel like one of the only reasons that was greenlit was because not only was it during Marvel's "WE CAN POOP OUT ANYTHING MCU AND PEOPLE WILL WATCH" days, but just so they could sell toys, which would be bad news for LEGO, as LEGO's goal is to *GASP* sell toys. So with those two movies likely on the chopping block, I think the slate from 2026 to 2027 will be: 2026: Doomsday, Spider-Man 4, Shang Chi 2 2027: Secret Wars, X-Men So I think all the MCU movies from next year to 2027 all will/have a shot at getting sets/at least one set. -
Guys what if next year We got a ART Set of the Joker with a sound-brick of him beatboxing? Honestly the only other DC sets I think we could get/expect next year after January are A Superman (James Gunn movie) set, A D2C Batman set, and maybe a buildable figure of Battinson. I feel like they could do a Batwing from TAS. It was teased kinda in the Gotham Skyline and it could be a decent $50 set (knowing LEGO, they would price it to $70 though) with Batman, Robin, and Two Face

It's pretty likely given the successes of the last 2 Marvel CMFs. If not next year, I defiantly think it will be 2026 when we get the third CMF. My Guesses: God Loki Kahhori Wolverine (Season 2/Brown and Yellow Suit) Nightcrawler Bishop Jubilee Wiccan (Joe Locke) Rio Vidal (the Green Witch AKA Aubrey Plaza) Ironheart Wonder Man Spider-Man (Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man) Daredevil (Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man) IF The CMF Comes out in 2026, then one of these characters can be replaced by Vision and Ultron from The Vision show (The Vision show is aiming for a 2026 release IIRC) I Just hope it's able to connect to the 2019 and 2022 sets. I like consistency as well and when sets are able to connect to one another. -

For the last few years, we've gotten an average of like 20 sets in total for LEGO Marvel from January to December. For next year in 2025, so far, we know we are getting: Iron-Man mech Spider-Man mech Iron-Man and Black Panther vs Red Hulk Hulk Monster Truck The Venom Car Marvel Logo Across the Spider Verse set Updated Civil War set Another Endgame set Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor So with that said, What do you all think the other 10 sets will be? If I had to Guess: 2 Thunderbolts sets 3 Fantastic Four: First Steps sets 3 Buildable Figures (Spider Gwen, Carnage and Vulture?) Advent Calendar (I'm hoping its X-Men themed) a D2C (maybe Helicarrier or Avengers Mansion?) -

If anything, since we are getting Avengers comic minifigures in January, I feel like we could get Avengers Mansion for the D2C next year.
