  1. I don’t know if any of you are on the Facebook Marvel group but apparently according to MTD Bricks, 76283 is a skipped number. which is a shame, as I think we now know all that we’re getting for this whole year. So no new set info or confirmation for this year unfortunately (as in we aren’t getting anymore new sets this year except for the ones we know we’re getting from previous leaks like the summer wave, X mansion, etc).
  2. As much as I'd love a Baxter Building modular, I think it's gonna be a long time till we get one tbh. If I had to guess, if we ever get one, it would be MCU based rather than comic based similar to the Sanctum. If they sold a modular comic F4 Baxter Building next year, I think it would be a major shelf warmer unfortunately as a comic Baxter Building set based on Fantastic Four is really towards a more niche demographic, even if I would love a comic based Baxter Building. Speaking of which Honestly, I'd expect the next few Superhero modulars to be: 2025: DC| Daily Planet (comic based) 2026: Marvel| Oscorp Building (comic based) 2027: DC| Teen Titans Tower (comic based or 2003 series based) 2028: Marvel| Avengers Mansion (comic based) Before I sound like a hypocrite for thinking a comic Daily Planet set is more likely than a comic Baxter Building, Superman is one of the most famous superheroes EVER up there with Spidey and Batman. A Superman comic set would sell better than a Fantastic Four comic set. And Teen Titans would make sense for 2027 as that could be a tie in for when the recently announced DCU movie comes out. Not to mention the 2003 Teen Titans show has a cult following similar to the 90s X-Men show which is getting the X-Mansion this year, AND love or hate TTGO, TTGO is huge with kids and the set could appeal to them. I also think it would be cool if we got a modular for DC and Marvel every other year.
  3. Didn't Eternals get 4 sets or am I misremembering? Then again Eternals sets BOMBED hard and warm the shelves to this day so LEGO probably wouldn't want to make 4 sets on a movie that's reintroducing a team that has had bad luck in film adaptations in the past. Still think it would be funny if they made 4 sets so they could promote them as the "FANTASTIC 4 Fantastic Four sets!"
  4. Forgive me if we've discussed this earlier in the thread, but how many sets should we expect for MCU Fantastic Four next year? The reason I ask this is because I feel like it would be a Missed Opportunity if LEGO didn't make 4 sets since it's the Fantastic FOUR. Also it's a no brainer from a marketing standpoint, cause when they market the 4 sets, they could say about the sets in LEGO Shop magazines, stores, etc: " Check out The Fantastic 4 Fantastic Four sets!" Before I'll see myself out for the dad joke, in all seriousness I do think it would be cool if we actually got 4 sets for the movie next year. If I had to brainstorm set ideas (well it depends on what the plot of the movie is but there have been rumors out there that I can use as a base for brainstorming): Set 1: Fantastic Four Lab similar to Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters (76253). Minifigures included would be Mr.Fantastic and Invisible Woman. Price: $9.99 Set 2: Galactus and his main herald (Some rumors say the herald is Silver Surfer while others suggest it will be someone obscure from the comics) vs Human Torch with a similar build to Spider-Man vs. Sandman: Final Battle (76280) with Galactus being built like Sandman (the buildable figure style. Minifigures would be Human Torch and Galactus' Herald. Price: $34.99 Set 3: Buildable H.E.R.B.I.E. Around the price range and piece range of the Baby Groot (76217 and 76249) and Rocket (76282) sets. Price: $59.99 Set 4: Fantasticar. Of course if the Fantasticar is even in the movie the build would be of course built in the shape of what it looks like in the movie. Minifigures would be Mr.Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing (big fig), and Galactus' Herald. Price: $79.99
  5. Since the forum is quiet for now, I thought I'd share a theory of mine: I think set 76283 is going to be a set based on Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (Used to be called Spider-Man: Freshman Year). Reasons I think this backs my theory up, is: We haven't heard anything about the mystery 76283 set in a while, maybe the reason we haven't heard in a while is cause IF it's based on FNSM, the set info would drop whenever the show is coming out (the show has had a bit of production problems apparently) and it seems the show is finally coming out late this year. The only Disney+ Marvel shows that get full sets are the cartoon based ones (Examples: What If and X-Men '97) Obviously, Spider-Man is the most popular Marvel character Again this is just my theory but I feel like that's what 76283 is likely to be IMO.
  6. Any idea on what set 76283 is supposed to be? If I recall correctly, I thought I saw one of the leakers say the set would come out in May 2024. But I could be wrong. I would love for it to be a Deadpool helmet/mask set for it to be an unofficial tie in to Deadpool & Wolverine, but I know the chances are near zero for that to be a set for reasons already stated in this thread. ALSO Seeing how What If Season 3 is going to deal with Mechs, I GUARANTEE That a 2025 set is gonna be one of those mechs.
  7. Here's some sets that I would Love to see: Guardians of the Galaxy Hallway Battle ($99.99) Minifigures: Star Lord, Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Blurp (new mold), Drax, Mantis, Nebula, 2x High Evolutionary/Orgocorp Guards. This set would be like No Way Home Final Battle and A-Force Endgame Final Battle sets. There would also be 2x builds of the High Evolutionary's Hell Spawn. Oscorp Building ($349.99) Minifigures: Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn, Mary Jane Watson, The Lizard, Miles Warren, Spider-Man 2099, Scarlet Spider, Kraven the Hunter, Electro (comic based), Silver Sable, Spider Woman (Jessica Drew), Eddie Brock, Shocker, The Chameleon, Elektra, Officer Jefferson Davis, Captain George Stacy When the Daily Bugle sadly retires, an Oscorp building would be the ideal option for the next Spider-Man modular. I see it having 4 or 5 stories.
  8. These actually look good IMO? I wouldn't call them great but Way better than any of the ones we got last year. These 2 will make a fine addition to my collection, as General Grievous says. Honestly, I think a Ghost Spider/Spider Gwen Buildable figure would be a great idea for a set next year, especially IF BTSV comes out late next year. Kind of like an unofficial tie in.
  9. Is this the week we should expect reveals for the Green Goblin and Spider Man buildable figures? Since they come out April 1st and usually LEGO reveals sets a month before release. Hot Take but I don't think the Spider-Man, Miles, Venom and Iron Man figures are horrible. Those 4 are fine displays in my collection. I Do, However, HATE The Buildable Cap and Wolverine. Luckily I don't have them and will never get them.
  10. Yeah.. I figured. But I thought it was worth mentioning that as an idea. At least we should be getting some Superman Legacy sets next year (I swear I hope I'm not jinxing it). Oh for sure. I think if we get 2 sets for the movie, we should get some of the other heroes in a larger set. That is a very good line up actually. I forgot the Batman Part 2 is coming out next year but something tells me they could push that to 2026 for some reason. I will say A Buildable Superman could look very cursed and uncanny and idk if this forum would be ready for that haha.
  11. Since we pretty much know all the 2024 sets we're getting for Batman.. oh I'm sorry.. DC this year, I think next year (2025) we will still only be getting 5-6 sets at most like we did this year and last year. I'm like 99% sure Superman: Legacy will get sets, I'm expecting 2 sets (One $40 set and one $80) BUT I also had this come to mind: What if as an unofficial tie in to Superman Legacy, we got a Comic Modular Daily Planet next year? I know DC doesn't do comic sets as much but I feel like the figures in such a set could be easy to make (like no leg printing on most of the figures) to where it's not expensive to make completely exclusive figures. Also it's a safe bet to do it based on comics/general Superman lore as in we don't know if Superman Legacy is going to be a critical and financial hit yet (I really hope it is, fingers crossed it does well). But also Superman lore I feel like is iconic enough to comic book fans and AFOLs to warrant a modular Daily Planet. I had in my mind that it would be around $250 and have like 9 figures (Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White, Jimmy Olson, Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Supergirl, Lana Lang). Again Idk how likely it would be but I would Love a set like this for next year. The other 2 to 3 sets next year I bet are going to be 4+ Batman sets and a Buildable Batman figure or Object, as expected now
  12. Funny enough I actually watched the Marvels last night on D+ and it was ok in my opinion. I’ve seen a lot worse comic book movies but it wasn’t a movie I feel like I missed out on in theaters. I feel like if it came out in 2022 it would’ve made a lot more money/been better received if they made some tweaks IMO. The only scene where I think I actually rolled my eyes was the musical planet scene but that’s just me. BUT I can see why you would think it’s a top 10 MCU movie even if I didn’t love it. I’d rather watch the Marvels over Quantumania or Love and Thunder any day tbh.
  13. Relating to my reply to @LegendaryArticuno I've had this idea for a while, and IDK how likely this set would be but: I would LOVE A set based on the Guardians 3 Hallway Scene similar to the NWH Final Battle/Endgame Final Battle/the AOU set we're getting this year. I feel like it would be easy to make as there could be a lot of repeat figures from last year's GOTG 3 wave and we would Finally get a Vol.3 Gamora. I don't know exactly how well the GOTG 3 sets sold last year as a whole BUT I always thought they sold OK, not exactly flying off the shelves but not warming up shelves like the Eternals/Wakanda Forever sets. At least Part of that is anecdotal. Last year at my local Target, The smallest set with Star Lord and Groot was always sold out or had one copy left on shelves. The Baby Rocket ship isn't retired yet and from what I remember last year after the movie, at my Target it sold decently. The Benatar IDK how that really sold as I always saw one copy every time I went to my Target, but it was a relatively expensive set but definitely a better deal than SOME MCU sets (Looking at you Black Panther Box Ship and Marvels set). Anyways, I feel like IF LEGO runs out of making Infinity Saga sets (which I still think there's a lot of scenes they haven't made/done justice into sets yet), They could make A Vol.3 Final Battle Diorama as Vol.3 is arguably the best received MCU Movie Post Endgame from Fans Besides No Way Home. Not to mention it was Disney's only financial win last year at theaters
  14. Agreed. I haven't watched the Marvels yet and it's the first MCU movie I did NOT Go see in theaters but it sound's like I'm not missing out. But only 2 out of 9 of the Multiverse Saga movies I've seen in theaters really impressed me. I LOVED GOTG 3 and even then I consider that a Gunn W than a MCU W and I quite liked the sets we got last year. Like many people, I only consider Vol.3 and NWH the only 2 great Multiverse Saga movies so far and their sets are the Only LEGO Multiverse Saga sets I have in my collection so far tbh. I really REALLY Hope Deadpool & Wolverine is great as those 2 movies so I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I know no chance in hell we are getting sets based on that movie due to reasons already stated on this sub. I have mixed feelings towards the casting but I'm cautiously optimistic about the MCU F4 movie. I think Vanessa and Ebon are good picks but Pedro and Joseph, even though I love them in the other stuff I've seen them in (Pedro was the only good thing in the joke of a movie WW84), I can't really see them in the roles of Reed and Johnny but I'd love to be proven they're perfect for the roles when the movie comes out. I will say I'm more excited to see the sets than the actual movie
  15. I could 100% see Daredevil. IDK about Kingpin since I personally think Kingpin would be done justice better as a big figure. And Punisher idk cause I feel like there could be complaints from Parents for some reason given Punisher is considered a more mature character than Daredevil (even if Daredevil is already for a mature audience but can still be marketed to kids in a way as stated earlier in this thread). Speaking of which, IF I had to bet on what the figures from the third Marvel CMF are (Most Likely coming Late Next Year), I would say: 1. Daredevil (Born Again) 2. A Spider-Man suit (from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man) 3. Ironheart (suit from the D+ Show) 4. Billy Kaplan/Wiccan (from Agatha) 5. Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza's character/main villain from Agatha) 6. Kahhori (from What If?) 7. Wonder Man 8. Bishop or Gambit (from X-Men '97) 9. A character from Eyes of Wakanda 10. A zombie-fied character from Marvel Zombies 11-12. 2 Characters from What If? Season 3 Not all of these are choices I would PERSONALLY want, but I think this list would be a realistic prediction based on the last 2 CMFs we got.
  16. I think a best case likely scenario (but also what I hope for) is that 76283 ends up being a Deadpool Helmet just branded under Deadpool or X-Men, kind of like how Carnage and Venom were branded under Venom or Carnage on the box. The set would not be directly based on Deadpool & Wolverine but also it scratches that itch for fans that want a LEGO Deadpool set this year by being an 18+ set like the other helmets were but it's a Deadpool set without Karens freaking out. @BrickBob Studpants I know this is a inside joke on the forum but seriously speaking, IF there was a world where there wasn't anything to worry about Karens and LEGO WAS able to make direct sets on Deadpool & Wolverine (or Anything R Rated in general), would you actually be against or for it? I'd personally love a set and figures but I know a killer astroid hitting Earth tomorrow is more likely than us getting a set and figures for an R rated movie for obvious reasons
  17. It was odd to me that LEGO only gave us 2 mechs this January when we usually would get 3. Something tells me that if we are getting a third one this year, it would be Deadpool and LEGO made an exception for releasing a mech in the middle of the year and wanted to release it near the release of Deadpool 3 as an unofficial tie in just branded under Deadpool instead of releasing it in January. That’s at least my theory. I could be totally wrong though. I totally agree with you about the 4+ Sentinel. I just figured it would be a set that would give LEGO an excuse to make a 4+ set this year for Marvel, and how it would be in the same price range as the 4+ Hulkbuster last year, even though I’m in the same boat as a sentinel would be a perfect $35 set, but it doesn’t seem we have a set going for that price this summer, at least not yet.
  18. I know MTD Bricks revealed prices and set Numbers for some summer sets. Here’s my predictions for each of those sets: 76286: New Milano $170 76288: 4+ Sentinel $25 76290: Arc Reactor build $60 76291: Age Of Ultron Set (similar to the NWH Final Battle and Endgame Battle Sets last year) $110 (These 2 (76287 and 76297) I don’t know would be possible but maybe if they brand it just under “Deadpool” instead of Deadpool 3 to avoid the R rated complaints, but I would love to see these): 76287: Deadpool Mech $15 76297: Deadpool Mask $60 I’d also think maybe a Store Exclusive set based on Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man could come out this year which would be a set number not revealed yet.
  19. I feel like based on what we know with leaks and rumors, here are my predictions for the 2024 line up Besides the Gotham Skyline which is already confirmed (I assume these will be the only Batman sets we get this year). Shoutout to Mandalorianknight for inspiring me to do the list since they did their predictions, which are similar to mine. And I’m also being realistic too haha. As much as I’d love more niche villains we’ve never gotten in Lego before, I just can’t see that happening this year. My Realistic Predictions for the 2024 LEGO Batman Wave: 76270: Batman Cycle (Based On Batman TAS) Minifigures are Repeats of Joker and Batman from the Skyline set 76272: 4+ Batwing (not really based on anything particular just like how the 4+ Batmobile was last year, just plain Batman designs). Minifigures are Batman and Two Face 76273: Buildable Batman Symbol with No Minifigures. I can honestly see LEGO doing something like this since they experiment a lot and they are more likely to give us this than a LEGO playscale Batcave or Arkham TBH. 76274: Batmobile (Based on Batman TAS) Minifigures are Batman (Repeat from the skyline set), Mr Freeze, and Robin.
  20. There’s a claim being made by lego_minleaks on Insta that the No Way Home set is being delayed or canceled. Apparently he claims he works in retail and that the set isn’t listed in August 1st releases. Anyone think he’s legit or making up BS? I get “my uncle works at Nintendo” vibes from him but after LEGO has cancelled other sets this year, it still made me a bit worried. I really hope it’s BS. It would be stupid of LEGO to cancel arguably the most anticipated Marvel set of the year, heck, I’d say the NWH set is the most anticipated LEGO Marvel set in a long time. I get why LEGO would can the Temple of Doom, Jabba’s Palace and Flash set, but Canning the NWH set makes zero sense. I’m thinking it’s a fake leaker who’s impatient waiting to see the set images so they decided to make a rumor up to stir something.
  21. @SuperSquidman I agree with @squiz18 Gunn has always been known for at times his messed up humor (heck, that’s what got him fired for a while). But I thought nothing of the Disfigured Pig scene (or Lambshank). I understand why that scene could make you feel uncomfortable though even though It didn’t personally bother me. Exactly. Especially a film considered by the General public (it has the highest letterboxd rating of any MCU film and the second best second weekend drop of a mcu movie at the box office) to be great. @Flawless Cowboy I feel you need to explain why you didn’t like Vol.3 in order to not come across as dismissive or snobby. Like I said, opinions are opinions but at least explain why you have the opinion you do.
  22. As someone who LOVED it, I totally understand your points. The humor isn’t for everyone. Maybe it’s because I love Gunn’s past work and most of the post Endgame content has been so underwhelming to me that Vol.3 blew almost all those out of the water (No Way Home was better) It just surprised me that in this forum some people didn’t love it as much as the majority of online as in saying it’s one of the only great post Endgame projects. I just hope everyone here can admit it was Miles better than Black Widow, Eternals, Love and Thunder, and Quantumania.
  23. Dang, what did you not like about it? Pretty much everyone agrees it’s up there with No Way Home as the best post Endgame movie but opinions are opinions. The only people I think that wouldn’t think it’s great are Snyder fans that Hate Gunn.
  24. I assume you haven’t seen Vol.3? Granted it being a great film is more of a Gunn accomplishment but it’s still “a marvel product”
  25. That's honestly news to me. I checked the top 100 in Building Toys list on Amazon a while back and iirc, 3 of the endgame sets and 1 Far from home set are in the top 50. I really think The Hulk Helicopter Set could be a seller due to Rescue but who knows.
