DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
calebcold3 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, at least we know at least we will be getting 1 set in 2027 for DC (Assuming The Batman Part 2 gets Sets, does anyone know if The Batman sets in 2022 sold well? I feel like they did but I could be wrong) Apparently Sgt.Rock is going to be filming within a year, probably for a 2027 release. But I doubt he'll get a minifigure. -

LEGO Chip with a Lantern (similar to the 76282 Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot set). $80 with no minifigues. -

Assuming there is merit to 76304 being Schumacher Based, I can already imagine the cursed Minifigure line up: 1. Batman (with a New Torso) 2. Batgirl (Head and hair Reused from 2024 4+ Batcave on new torso) 3. Bruce Wayne (Michael Scott Torso with 2012 Bruce Wayne Head with black hair piece, so pretty much the Professor X Figure with Black Hair) 4. Mr. Freeze (reuse from the 2025 4+ Batmobile) 5. Alfred (reuse from the Shadowbox Batcave) And of course, knowing LEGO recently, no Robin in sight. -

Lol, I'm glad that you bring me down to reality even if my dream set ideas would be killer. Unfortunately, when I feel like something is likely and want to share it on here, there's always something. I did predict the Superman mech by pure coincidence, so maybe I always think back to that when having set wishlists haha. I'm hopeful that 76320 is a Sentinel set since it is close to the piece count to the Sentinel in the Mansion according to @psqidexslizer. I don't think they would do a 100% identical build from the one in X-Mansion just like how the Leviathan and Burton Batmobile weren't 100% identical builds. -

Watching the Superman trailer just makes me excited (for the movie) and upset about the fact that we aren't getting a SINGLE SET for this movie. Like, it would've been the easiest $30-$40 set ever. LEGO could just Reuse Superman's head from the mech on a new torso, put the overused Lex head on a random Business suit already in production, and add one more figure and BOOM you got a set (even if the set had a meh build, I would've still bought it). Well.. maybe if Superman does well, we'll get Superman 2 and get sets for that movie. -

My Realistic Wishlist for some Summer 2025 sets: 1. Uncle Aaron's Apartment (Price: $34.99, Minifigures: Miles Morales and Prowler) 2. Sentinel Battle (Price: $29.99, Minifigures: Wolverine, Jubilee, Jean Grey) 3. Captain America vs Red Skull Car (Price: $39.99, Minifigures: Captain America (First Avenger Reuse), Red Skull, Hydra Agent) 4. Avengers Age Of Ultron Quinjet (Price: $119:99, Minifigures: Captain America, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision, Ultron) -

Yeah, I think a Quinjet from AOU wrapping up the remaining characters like you said with 3 more figures (6 figures in total for a $100-$120 set) would make for a good set. It would look nice next to the 2023 Quinjet from Avengers 1. But.. knowing LEGO, we'll get a $60 Hulkbuster with only Iron Man and Hulk next summer. -

A UCS Helicarrier D2C with Bucky and Stealth Suit Cap would be nice for next year's D2C (obviously there should be more minifigures than just those 2). -

Sorry to sort of stomp all over your dream here, but I don't want people getting false hopes up. I'd consider a GL mech a present surprise at this point. Hell, I'd be ecstatic if Barry or Diana MINIFIGS showed up in a set somewhere. LOL, you're all good! It was just a thought that occurred to me, but yeah, Imagine telling someone 10 years ago that $15 Mechs would be the thing that excites us about LEGO DC. I do feel like we'll at least get 1 DC Mech in 2026 that's loosely based on a DCU thing coming out that year (I'm hoping for GL), but only time will tell. I did think a Supergirl mech and a Superman mech could both co-exist, just like how the War Machine mech and the new Iron Mech will, but now that you mention it, A Supergirl Mech would be VERY similar to the Superman Mech we have. What works about having both War Machine and Iron Man mechs on shelves are that they both have different colors to represent their mechs. Superman and Supergirl would have the exact same colors lol. -

Imagine If we get 3 LEGO DC Mechs in 2026 (that would probably mean we wouldn't get any Marvel ones given how there are 3 mechs per year), with each one being a loosely based tie in to a DCU Project coming that year: (Clayface movie): A new Batman Mech (that's grey and blue with the Minifigs being the Blue and Grey suit Batman and Clayface) (HBO Lanterns): A Green Lantern Mech (Minifigs being Hal and John) (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) A Supergirl mech (Minifigs being Supegirl and Lobo) I know this would be quite far from now, but still, I think this could be a legit possibility if the Superman mech sells well. -

Do we think we're gonna hear about the whole Summer 2025 wave before the year ends? I have a feeling next summer we'll get 1 or 2 Age of Ultron sets. -

Clayface Movie is confirmed to release September 2026. I feel like The Batman 2 is going to be delayed to 2027, therefore, we won't get LEGO Batman 2 sets until then BUT, Maybe we could get A Clayface figure in a LEGO 2026 Batman set as an unofficial tie in to the Clayface film? -

I'm pretty much in the same boat as both of you. I'm glad to hear we are getting a somewhat affordable Batcave on shelves again and a D2C Arkham, but they have to look well and I hope the figure selections are good. I hope we'll know soon if the Batcave and Arkham will be based on Comics, BTAS, or whatever else. I'm upset that Gunn Superman isn't getting any sets, but at least we got a Superman Mech, which is a low bar, but it is something. Maybe for the DCU, we'll get comic based tie ins for the time being, hence my hope for a Green Lantern mech in 2026 to coincide the release of HBO's Lanterns. I feel like the first DCU movie that will get official sets will obviously be Brave and the Bold, whenever that comes out. -

Copium: 76305 and 76306 are August 2025 sets that are LOOSELY based on Superman (2025) that reuse the figure from the Mech. What'll likely happen: 76305 and 76306 are a Batman Advent Calendar and a Batman 4+ set that connects to the 4+ Batcave from this year. -

Honestly, the only Marvel Advent Calendar I liked was the GOTG Holiday Special one. It's also the only one I have haha. I wish we got one last Advent Calendar that was X-Men themed, but it is what it is. Are we slowly turning into the Marvel Aslume? -

LEGO Miles Morales Mask (76329) is coming next year according to a.clay.brick I remember having this on my wishlist for upcoming sets, so I'm glad to see it coming. I really like most of the LEGO Marvel Masks, Helmets, Heads, Hands, etc that we've gotten so far. -

Ok.. so.. I used to think the upcoming Civil War set was DECENT and was received too harshly. However, after I just realized the build is pretty much just The 2023 Ant-Man Buildable figure with a recolored Quinjet from Avengers Tower for $100 with random repeats and only 1 good figure... Yeah, I can see why everyone has a negative response to the set. I'm glad I finally opened my eyes cause good lord that set is not it for $100 and a serious downgrade from the OG set (even though I never had the 2016 set). -

According to Lego Minecraft Goat’s Instagram story from a day ago, it’s a strong rumor but I thought it would be worth sharing: There won’t be ANY solo Buildable Construction Figures (like Green Goblin, Sam Cap, Wolverine, etc) for Marvel next year. -

I wonder when we're gonna hear about next year's D2C. I doubt it's a modular building given that DC is getting one with Arkham next year (apparently) and other reasons stated in this thread. The next Marvel modular I feel like will be in 2026, either being Avengers Mansion or Oscorp. -
I know I already have mentioned a potential Green Lantern mech for 2026 (When the HBO show is set to premiere), but do you all think we could get a LEGO Supergirl Mech for 2026? (since Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comes out in 2026) It would be pretty interesting to have 2 DC mechs and 1 Marvel mech for 2026. I feel like instead of doing direct tie ins for now, LEGO views making Mechs based on the comics that a DCU adaptation is based on as a safer option (assuming we aren't getting any Gunn Superman sets next year) Also, IDK who the second figure would be in a Supergirl mech. Maybe Krypto? I said this when I brought up the Green Lantern Mech Idea but I imagine the Green Lantern mech would have Hal and John.

Iron Man and Black Panther vs Red Hulk Set Image is out. It looks ok but I'm not getting it. Overall, this wave is really being carried by the ATSV set and the Iron Man mech. Also, Which set do you all think I should save towards? The X-Mansion or the upcoming Civil War Battle set? I know that seems like a no brainer, but I never got the OG 2016 Civil War Battle (even though I had the other 3 CW sets from 2016) -

That's defiantly fair. when there's 1 good set, I try to hang on to that positive even if the rest of the sets don't wow me. Sorry if I came across as a bit too "WHY DON'T YOU LIKE THIS SET ME AND MOST PEOPLE LIKE?", I just was trying to be more "Hey, not all of it's bad" if that makes sense. I'm more of a half full glass guy but I'm glad to hear you at least like 76311. And yeah, it's not perfect but IMO it's still a good set and the best of a mid bunch. Plus the ATSV set, but I know that price is a hard pill to swallow. Luckily I've been saving discount points on Insiders for this specific set. And hey, at least the theme isn't DC level yet (low bar but still, I try to be a bit positive) -
In 1978, you believed a man could fly.. In January 2025, you'll believe a set can fly (off the shelves) Yeah, that's a good point. However, The Spider Verse movies are HUGELY popular with certain demographics that lap with the LEGO target audience and I think there are more fans that will buy that set ASAP than the X-Jet since the SV movies have more of a.. fanbase, I guess the word is? But I could defiantly see it having a tepid opening but grow in sales as the price goes down over the months. POTENTIAL HOT TAKE but I can't help but share it. If I get mauled for this so be it but Time has passed: > Doesn't mean The Bat-Pod/Construction Figure is a PERFECT set, but it's far better looking IMO than the 2025 Tumbler and arguably better Representation of TDK trilogy on a Display shelf.
