DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
calebcold3 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Was the Q1 2026 Set Number List just for Marvel or is it for both Marvel and DC? Honestly the only sets I could actually see us getting Next Year for DC is A new Batman V Superman Batmobile (since it’s the only live action Batmobile left that hasn’t gotten an updated set/remake) and A Lex Luthor Mech vs Supergirl (with The Lex figure being a reuse from the Superman mech) -

Is the upcoming Christmas Hulkbuster going to be a GWP or a regular set that you can buy at any store? -

So I guess since we already know 2026 set numbers, we can officially say R.I.P. to the idea of a 2025 Marvel D2C? -

Fingers Crossed even if it’s an identical Sentinel Build. But as long as it includes Jubilee and Nightcrawler, I’ll be happy. Prepare to be mind blown cause my uncle’s girlfriend’s pet bug’s cousin’s roommate told me this but 3 of those sets are going to be mechs! Crazy isn’t it?! -

Assuming 76305 is DC, what could it be? I can’t believe it’s seen as delusional to think it’s a Superman set (I still think a Superman set based on the new movie is like the easiest set to make), but realistically speaking, it’ll probably be a Batman Bust. -

Take this with a grain of salt but apparently there is set 76305 that is $60 (from Wakebricks who is 50/50 when it comes to reliability) It isn’t specified if it’s for Marvel or DC but if the set is for Marvel, what do we think it could be? -

Turtle is this your alt account? Also, why did you get so defensive over a guess I made that could or could not happen? I didn't say I want DC to stop having LEGO sets after 2026. I would LOVE For LEGO to have the rights for DC as long as humanly possible (granted if they actually do jackshit with the theme outside of Batman), but it's best to expect the worst from LEGO when it comes to DC in the 2020s. Like MJ says, "expect disappointment and you won't be disappointed". I tell myself that everyday with this theme, ESPECIALLY when we should've gotten at least 1, ONE Superman movie set this summer. It literally could be the easiest set to make. I'm excited for Superman but it's not a guarantee the movie will be box office hit. I LOVE the GOTG Trilogy and even the Christmas Special so I have faith in Gunn, but when it comes to the box office, Superman is not an 100% sure fire hit, especially in this day and age of superhero movies. and with that said.. I really enjoyed the trailers so far (well.. the cross eyed shot was weird) and like I mentioned before, The GOTG trilogy (and holiday special) holds a very dear place in my heart. But I feel like Superman could be a good challenge for Gunn. Sure, there are many many wonderful sincere moments in the GOTG trilogy, but over all, some things that work for Guardians wouldn't work for Superman. It's like how I love Pizza and I love Chicken McNuggets, but for different reasons. So, I'm excited to see Gunn do a movie that's outside of his comfort zone. I do think your concerns are reasonable but I'm excited for the movie nevertheless. Bring on July 11th. -

I agree. A Battle On Titan Diorama seems like a no brainer and I wouldn't be surprised if we got that set next year. I've always thought a Guardians Vol.3 Hallway Scene diorama would be awesome. Maybe it could happen. But to be honest, That Endgame set that was revealed today is probably the WORST Lego Marvel set I have ever seen. Just laughable and makes the Civil War Diorama this year look like The NWH Final Battle in comparison. Is the only summer set that we don't know the full figure list for just the AOU Quinjet? I really hope we aren't only getting just 3 figures in that set. -

I could realistically see LEGO DC's final year being 2026 assuming Mattel does stuff with the license. Kinda ironic cause 2026 is the 20th anniversary of LEGO Batman. Maybe they can work out a deal where LEGO Does Icons sets for Batman while Mattel's competing brand does sets for other DC heroes (regardless if Superman does well or not). -

Assuming We’ll be getting 10 Minifigures at minimum, and now that it’s likely to be based on comics, I feel like the Arkham Minifigure Line up could be: Batman (reuse) Joker (reuse from the 4+ Batcave) Batgirl (reuse from the 4+ Batcave) Harley Quinn (reuse because her look in BTAS is also her classic comic appearance) Mr Freeze (reuse from the 4+ Batmobile) Commissioner Gordon (with reused pieces) 2x Arkham Wardens Two Face (in a prison jumpsuit with the head being a reuse from the one from the Tumbler this year) Poison Ivy. So yeah.. probably only three true exclusive figures (Ivy and the Wardens) in a $400+ set. -

With all this DC news, I just know we'll only get 3 sets next year and it's gonna be like: A Green Lantern Mech or A Lex Luthor Mech with Supergirl A 4+ Batman set with a Bat-Cycle And a UCS set of the Batman Vs Superman Batmobile (for the 10th anniversary of BvS) -

Who said that we weren't getting a D2C this year? That's pretty big news but it's ok. At least my wallet for my LEGO budget this year is safe. I think next year they'll do a D2C Avengers Mansion (With the comic based figures). Also, The Spider Verse CMF seems fine to me. I'll def be attempting to complete the whole series but some of the choices like Sun Spider and Cyborg Spider Woman are head scratching. -

I still feel like the D2C for Marvel this year will be a Helicarrier similar to the 2015 set (think of how the 2021 Tumbler was similar to the 2014 Tumbler) But With like 8 Minifigures. I would Imagine: Iron Man (Mark 6 Undamaged reuse), Nick Fury (reuse), a new Coulson, a new Maria Hill, Stealth Suit Cap (from TWS), Bucky (reuse from the CW set this year), and 2x Shield Agents (reuse from the Avengers Tower) -
Here's a set I would like to see next year, given the release of the Lanterns show, It would be a cool unofficial tie in: Green Lantern Mech ($14.99): Minifigures would be Hal Jordan and John Stewart And for future modulars before the decade ends, (assuming Arkham is a modular and we get A DC modular Every Other Year): 2027: Titans Tower ($249.99): Minifigures would be Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Blue Beetle, Deathstroke, Blackfire, and Nightwing 2029: Daily Planet ($299.99): Minifigures would be Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Lex Luthor, General Zod, Brainiac, and Supergirl.

Yeah.. That Oscorp Fig list is not it. I have little faith in the set since it's not a modular (which I feel like is better suited for Oscorp) and has a lackluster figure list. Here's my predictions on the figures I'm expecting in the Summer sets that don't have the full minifigure lists yet: Peter Parker's Apartment: Spider-Man (duh), Peter Parker (duh), Mr. Negative Spider Man 2 Train Battle: Spider-Man (reuse from the NWH Final Battle set), Doc Ock (reuse from the NWH Final Battle set even though it would be inaccurate, though that hasn't stopped LEGO Marvel in the past), Train Conductor (reused parts) AOU Quinjet: Quicksilver (already confirmed), Captain America (reuse), Black Widow (reuse) (I know some people are hoping for more than 3 figures in this set but I'm keeping my hopes low unless proven otherwise) And obviously the only 2 figures that are going to be in the Iron Man 2 set are just going to be reuses of the Mark 6 and War Machine suit from the 2022 Hall of Armor/Avengers Tower -

Any Guesses of what the D2C this year will be now that Oscorp is ruled out? Aren't we supposed to be getting the D2C in October btw? I thought remember hearing that. Also, My Guesses for the Oscorp Figures: Heroes: Spider-Man (duh), Spider-Gwen, Mary Jane (reused parts and she's technically considered a "good guy"), and Daredevil (black and red suit similar to his shadowland costume) Villains: Green Goblin (duh), Norman Osborne (reused parts), Venom, and Rhino (big fig) -

I feel like we should be seeing a Set List anytime now. It's always weird how Marvel is one of the last ones to receive the Summer Set lists every year, but oh well. Here's what I could see for the Summer Wave, given what we know about prices and pieces and there being sets based of SONY Spidey movies: 76317: AOU Hulkbuster ($49.99, 394 pieces) 76319: 4+ Hall of Armor, $34.99 (Kinda like the 4+ Batcave was last year) 76320: Standalone Sentinel set ($19.99, 204 pieces) (Similar to how the Leviathan and the Batmobile were) 76321: Spider-Man Vs Rhino ($49.99, 393 pieces) (from the The Amazing Spider Man 2) 76322: Uncle Aaron's or Miles' Apartment ($49.99, 373 pieces) 76324: AOU Quinjet, $129.99 76325: Spider-Man vs Doc Ock Train Battle, $119.99 (Assuming it's a book nook like some have suggested in this thread) 76326: Magneto or Raimi Green Goblin Helmet ($59.99, 379 pieces) Hopefully this is a realistic Wishlist from me haha @Mandalorianknight -

Well we're getting a helmet, a 4+ set, and 6 other sets (At least 2 of those being based of Spidey Movies from Sony, with one being based on the iconic Train scene from Raimi Spider-Man 2). If I had to guess, the $110 set is the Spider-Man 2 Train set, the $120 set is the Quinjet from AOU. One of the sets I think will be a copy of the Sentinel from the X-Mansion (the $20 set since the piece count for the sentinel is apparently small), while the other Sony Spidey Set will be an Apartment from the Spider Verse movies (either Miles' or Aaron's) that can connect to the ATSV set we just got. IDK what the other 2 sets could be. -

I think something like Prowler apartment/miles bedroom, something like that would be possible and I'm little excited for this idea I defiantly think that could be a Summer 2025 set. I remember having a set like this on a realistic Wishlist for sets next summer but given the Summer 2025 Set numbers with their prices and pieces revealed I could definitely see Uncle Aaron's Apartment being one of the $50 sets this summer. BTW the 2025 polybag is out on Fateful's Instagram... and it's... a polybag I will say. -

Agreed on both of these, except I am a little excited for Secret Wars just for the 5 year old in me to see heroes I loved as a Kid on the same screen, but I'm looking forward to it as a popcorn movie rather than a movie with rich storytelling And yeah, It's weird how Marvel is last. If they're gonna reveal the prices and pieces, why not the set names? -

I feel like Avengers sets will happen no matter what. Same with Spidey. Anytime they get a new movie, there will always be some sets to coincide with the movie. Does anyone have any guesses and theories on what the Summer 2025 sets are going to be based on the prices that we're revealed recently? I feel like (and hope) 76320 is a Sentinel, given the piece count is similar to the one in the X-Mansion, but for $19.99, I feel like there would only be 2 minifigures. the $34.99 4+ set (76319) I could see being a 4+ Hall of Armor (similar to the 4+ Batcave that came out this year) 76324 ($129.99) or 76325 ($119.99), I defiantly think one of them is a AOU Quinjet (that will come with the rumored MCU Quicksilver figure) -

Well, at least we know at least we will be getting 1 set in 2027 for DC (Assuming The Batman Part 2 gets Sets, does anyone know if The Batman sets in 2022 sold well? I feel like they did but I could be wrong) Apparently Sgt.Rock is going to be filming within a year, probably for a 2027 release. But I doubt he'll get a minifigure.
