How should I lay out my 700/4 set?

Yeah! Playing with Lego was like playing with Jenga blocks at that time! -

Yeah! I think you should go ahead and seek help from someone who was a child at that time. LOL -

Oh wow! You've got one of the very old sets. I don't have experience with these sets so.....only I advice I can give you is to build a house. -
The classic police sets. With that being said best years for police sets; 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017 and I'm sure 2020 will be good. In my opinion, if a police theme free year proves no detriment at all, then I think Lego should stick with regular police sets and leave it there.
-
@Collector245 That sounds reasonable. But like I said, not next year because my favorite police sets that come out every three years are hitting shelves on the 1st of January.
-
Nooooo. Don't say that here. You'll get roasted and become a political prisoner here. But yeah I agree. Though I do regret not getting the mountain police headquarters as my Lego layout is more of a country side like setting more than a city. I would like to see one year without a police wave. Not in 2020 because my favorite police is coming. So maybe in 2021. Police may "sell" but I mean, it's not like it'll start a war if there is one year without a police theme.
-
@Collector245 Thank You! I do have to admit however that I do worry it would never happen considering that the City division of LEGO has to save bricks for police and "beyond the city" sets. But I'd like to keep hope alive and say that there may be room for a grocery store, proper bus terminal, pizzeria, news station or a post office next year or the year after. Maybe even an office building. You never know. I think the Creator Division would have the latter under control.
-
@MAB I've been trying to get my hands on that one. But I wasn't able to find it.
-
Here are four building ideas that I have. Bus Terminal - Includes terminal building complete with terminal manager minifigure, customer service area and waiting room, mini city bus with driver minifigure and some civilians. Grocery Store - includes grocery store building with 3 clerks, some civilians and food transporter. Post Office - includes post office building with two postal workers, mail van and civilian. Pizzeria - includes City Pizza building with chef, delivery man, pizza delivery vehicle and some civilians

Well looking back into the past, they have done it before so....... I'm assuming they'll do it again soon! But I think I like 31036 better though because its more to the point. I would like to see one by City though.

YO!!!!!! That set may have been small, but it was an awesome set. I remember playing Brickolini's Pizzeria with that set. I made versions of Mama and Papa Brickolini and had a Pepper which I got from the Island Xtreme Stunts sets. I would like to see another. The last stationary pizzeria set we had was this one from 60026 60150 was good and all, but I would like to see another stationary pizzeria. I still want a grocery store too! Maybe for the current pizzeria, they can make it so you can roll the pizza off of the top of the building like the doughnut shop did.

That's understandable. Heck! When I saw Speed Champions, I thought Lego Racers - except they were models of real cars and were able to fit yellow people. I still call that one generic since it uses yellow people.- 438 replies

I agree with both of those. Deep Sea would give me some Divers nostalgia there. I also had an idea of a postal workers subtheme. But "just" a post office would do if they can't do an entire subtheme. @lifeinplastic Thanks man. I appreciate that.

Nostalgia. I love the explorers themes that give me nostalgia from the classic town sets. Arctic Expedition and Deep Sea Exploration kinda gave me the same thing as they remind me of the Arctic and Divers themes from the 90s and 2000. Space does the same as it reminds me of the 90s Space Port and Lanch Command sets.- 438 replies

@MAB LOL! It seems like you and I can never come to an agreement on anything. Of course you attack Pooda's recommendations! Of course..... Of course....... But all jokes aside. The Outback is a desert in Australia. That's the jungle in Africa they are promoting in those 2017 City sets.- 438 replies

2020 Creator Sets - Rumours & Discussion
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Creator needs to make more 3in1 houses! My town, which is based in a country-like area is in need of some. -
@Matt Dawson Would be awesome if they were to make it non-motorized. That way people can have an option on whether or not they want to motorize it or just push it along. @Laura Beinbrech That's something new. I never thought of that.

@Digger of Bricks Speed Champions, I believe, replaced Racers as the standalone generic Lego theme for selling vehicles. Tbh, I love Speed Champions better because I can put my people inside. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that. I think Lego would call it Air Champions for planes though. I want them to revive all of the 90s themes that were under town. They did revive Arctic back in 2014 and in 2018. So they should give the others (i.e. Outback, Paradisa, Res-Q, etc) another chance.- 438 replies

Hello! I don't think I have introduced myself properly. My name is Brandon and I'm 27 years old. For you savier people out there, you guys may best know me for my advice on how to improve my favorite Lego theme, City. Mostly talking about new subthemes for the theme and questioning the necessity of the overwhelming majority of police subthemes. BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!!!!!!!! The point is that I am now introducing myself as a new member of Eurobricks. Technically I'm still new as I have only come last month. So without further to do, thank you for having me here. We will be great friends. Just respect me and I'll respect you. G'day.
