  1. My hope for set number 60253 is that it uses the same shape at 60150. Only its painted as an ice cream truck.
  2. @lightningtiger Then again, I do remember seeing a pizza place in the TV series that hasn't been released. I hope they release it as a standalone set though. How bout one of the female chefs playing the piano in the set? Mama Brickolini reference anyone?
  3. Thank You! I hope some of those pieces in the tuning shop that's supposed to come in 2020 go towards more 4 stud wide automobiles. I'll take as many cars as possible.
  4. Well....some civilian automobiles from past sets and the fire trucks appeared. Same with some of the sky police vehicles. The car that Duke Detain drives is just a cartoon version of the car from set 60141. Unless they're going to release simplified versions of some of the buildings in the series and maybe a pitcrew people pack.
  5. I only do four stud wide. When I got the 60141 Police Station back in 2017, I didn't even use the six stud wide car that came with it - preferring the monster truck from 60140. That's how much I dislike six stud wide cars for City. It works well for the trucks and buses, but not the cars.
  6. Don't worry. Those are coming.
  7. But most of the sets showcased in the mini series have already been released.
  8. @Digger of Bricks Each to their own I guess.
  9. Subtheme Idea: Paradisa So the synopsis is basically showing Lego City from a little girl's point of view. Now this subtheme is not likely to happen as Friends is practically Lego City for girls. But then there are those girls who want yellow people. Well let's give it to them! 60310 Paradisa Motorboat 60311 Paradisa Emporium 60312 Paradisa Country Club 60313 Paradisa Supermarket 60314 Paradisa Restaurant 60315 Paradisa Horse Stable 60316 Paradisa Police Headquarters (for obvious reasons)
  10. Maybe the Racers reboot can be a subsidiary of Speed Champions. This time, we can call it "Pocket Racers!".
  11. @Legobrickbro Same here. I loved getting the race car sets from classic town because I loved race cars. Still do.
  12. I just put some houses in my town. You should start your town with houses.
  13. 4 stud cars will always be better than 6 stud wide. On trucks, 6 stud wide is good.
  14. Speed Champions has pretty much replaced Racers. Tbh, they are better considering that I can put my people inside. But if there were to be a revival, I'd like to see a school bus-like racer. Similar to the Surfin School Bus from Hotwheels.
  15. Here are two other classic police sets I'd like to see next year. Police Grocery Store Burgulary - this actually would include a small grocery store that's about the same size as the doughnut shop. This set will take place at night do there are no staff minifigures. Police School Bus Heist - while the children are out of school, the crooks steal a school bus disguised as school officials and use it to load some valuable jewelry. A police van is chasing them in this set.
  16. I wonder what those In/Out sets will be.
  17. @danth I like those too. That was back when baseplates ruled. Unfortunately because of certain marketing strategies, the town (which technically the arctic sets were under) sets did poorly. They're actually doing much better now. Though I do hope that the next arctic sets have a blue base set. That way, it'll be the arctic wave that'll turn us back into 9 years again.
  18. @danth I personally don't mind the colors of those. The arctic sets especially gave me some nostalgia as the old Arctic sets from the Classic Town theme were orange as well. That reminds me of a combination between Paradisa and the Nautica theme from Classic Town.
  19. Yeah! But City is supposed to be based on realism.
  20. Ok! I remember coming up with this theory about Space Police! My theory was that it took place on Ogel Island, the island where The Brickster lives in Lego Island 2.
  21. I don't think that's likely to happen! City mostly does their own thing - which is mainly finding valueables under water. But there were some sunken ship pieces in the 2015 wave of Deep Sea Explorers sets.
  22. Hmmmm..... Neh! Otherwise, they would've specifically said pit stop. It could be also part of an Automotive subtheme. That's where I think the service station, race cars and tuning shop tie in together.
  23. I've actually been hoping for Lego to bring the "Race" subtheme from classic town back. This could be it.
  24. @jonwil I've only owned the classic police stations. But I missed the 2005 and 2008. But i was able to acquire the 2011, 2014 and 2017 when they came out. The 2014 was my favorite one.
  25. They should've sold. Creator is more geared towards older audiences so I'm surprised that they didn't sell. Esoecially 4886. I've actually been trying to acquire that one.
