  1. That was a good one too. Personally, I think it was one of the best GVs that City has made. I love it when TLG surprises me with vehicles. This was a surprise.
  2. Another one I want to see real bad is a bus drivers ubtheme for City. I mean buses sell just as well as police sets cars, fire trucks, garbage trucks and ambulances. In this theme, the buses and the terminal are yellow and green. 60281 Bus Terminal - This acts as the base set for the subtheme. Includes a yellow and green terminal building and a yellow and green 35 foot bus. 60282 Cycle N Ride - This is basically a re-release of set number 60154 Bus Station. Thought I'd rename it "Cycle N Ride" since there wasn't really a station in there. Includes a bus stop and a yellow and green 40 feet bus. 60283 Downtown Bus Ride - Includes the first ever articulated bus. Its yellow and green with a bendy piece in between it. 60284 Shuttle Service - Includes green and yellow shuttle bus with a handicapped elderly man.
  3. I would like to see more buildings tho.
  4. I'm also wondering how the other sets would look.
  5. Well......I think you'll be happy to know that we're getting an 60253 Ice Cream Truck in 2020 for City. I hope they make a series of food trucks.
  6. Well its pointless to me. Especially coming on the hills of the regular police sets. Overlapping is an issue. No wonder sky police did horrible.
  7. Well I still stand by my statement. So block me if you've got an issue.
  8. Yeah....my problem with that is..... wouldn't the mountains be a place where a fire is more likely to happen than a crime? Yet there is no Mountain Fire theme. Fire sets sell too, but hardly any blood, sweat and tears is put into those. Except for the theme that comes out every three years. The swamp has that effect too as a Swamp Coast Guard theme would sound more reasonable. As for "naming" the characters, that was another issue as City is supposed to be generic. Chase McCain, Harl Hubbs, Duke Detain and Freya McCloud are prime examples. Once you name certain mini figs, you're kinda obligated to name them that once you acquire them. The encouragement to imagination is tarnished with that.
  9. I said the something similar about police sets by Lego City and I'm still standing by my statement on that situation. But back to the point. I do have to agree that Star Wars should make some changes to their toy fleet. I guess they make a lot of those because they are more well known than other vehicles in the Jedi universe.
  10. Do we really need one though? We have City Space! We have Star Wars. Creator has had some space sets before. Lego Movie 2? Emmett's house can be turned into a space ship and don't forget Rex's ship. I'm gonna even add Toy Story to the list because of Buzz Lightyear. So a standalone Sci-Fi theme would not only be pointless, but it would be a waste of TLG's time and money.
  11. @TeriXeri That and the space sets that you see under City is the in-house space theme. If folks were expecting a revival of Launch Command and Space Port from the 90s, that's the space we have in City. I wish people would stop asking for an in-house space theme.
  12. That would epic if they did do something with The Lion King. Would it sell though is the question.
  13. I wasn't either at one point. But then I realized that these sets were targeted towards adults. Same with that Friends tv show set. If adult related themes like this can show us that Lego cares about its adult fanbase, I'm willing to adapt.
  14. Which won't happen anytime soon! Love your Rex avatar btw!
  15. I had once recommended that Lego redirects the 3in1 buildings and modulars from Creator to City. Then allow Creator to only focus on wacky sets like the monster burger truck and the dinosaur.
  16. @MAB Bob's Burgers is another one I propose. Truthfully speaking, to cut cost they'd probably nationalize all of those under one theme and name it something like the "FOX Animation" theme or something like that.
  17. Of course! Lego is good at doing that. They not only pander to kids. But they pander to adults as well. Peep this real quick.
  18. I actually like the modern day trains. They get better and better every year.
  19. Well....I could say the same about The Simpsons.
  20. That's one of those buildings you'd have to mod. So far, the 4429 hospital is the only hospital that has gotten a 100% from me. That one felt more thought out. The 60204 is too cuttawayish. They should've done a front instead of the corner. Fronts are much easier to play with in my opinion and you know how Lego values playability. As for 7892....not a fan of the grey elevated baseplate. Let's just say...the corner over front system is kinda what turned me off about the 60141 Police Station. I liked 60047 better.
  21. This sounds like Aanchir and Lyichir's type type of discussion.
