  1. Day 5 : Music Corner Dresghar - "Perhaps a musical prelude would set the perfect tone for my tale. Might you pass me the lute, honey?" Alrune - "No. Your ‘musical preludes’ inevitably spiral into hour-long epic sagas." Dresghar - "Your indifference to art is as tragic as it is profound!"
  2. The ink storage room is such a brilliant (and useful) idea!
  3. @zoth33 Thank you very much! @Kai NRG Thank you so much! Fluffy rugs by the fireplace are a must-have!
  4. Day 4 : Friends of Fur and Feather Dresghar - "I see that even our companions of fur and feather have joined us - an audience far more attentive than certain other individuals present." Mélusine the Cat - "Miaow!" Alrune - "Sorry, Uncle. She says she's only there for the biscuits." (The tilted tile is REALLY bothering me, but I was unable to re-take the photos...)
  5. Very neat little build! I really like how this is developing...
  6. @Kai NRG Thank you very much, I'm glad you like the fireplace...and the cookies! Where I come from, there is no Advent Season without cookies.
  7. Day 3 : Biscuits Dresghar - "Knowing the patience of my audience - or rather, their lack of it - I brought some treats..."
  8. What a clever little build! Is that the Dreamzzz hourglass-hilt-thing in brown? It does look sleek as a scroll stand.
  9. @GeoBrick Thank you very much! I'm so glad the half-arch bricks finally came in light bley...they are awesome for castle decor details! @Umbra-Manis Always. Yet it's the first time, I reckon, that I use non-black legs and torso for a minifigure of him!
  10. Day 2 : Dresghar with Storybook Dresghar - "Stories come alive in the dance of firelight... Myths and legends intertwine, waiting to be told. Tonight, I shall weave one such tale." Alrune - "Make it brief, please. Some of us have arcane experiments to finish."
  11. Thank you so much! The tile is a custom one from Briquestore. I don't usually use customs...but this one looked so perfect for what I had in mind!
  12. You did it! This is really a intriguing theme and an intriguing place...that we will discover with a very mysterious-looking guide!
  13. Day 1 : Fireplace Dresghar - "As the air grows colder and the nights stretch longer, what feels better than the warmth of a roaring fire?"
  14. Thank you so much for your enthousiasm! I have not been able to build a lot this year...but I could not miss the Advent Calendar. Thank you! I hope you'll like it!
  15. Time flies… and it's already Advent Calendar season! Starting this Sunday, I’ll update this topic daily with a small build. This year, the theme is Storytime, and as always, I will let my main GoH characters - Alrune (an Elven mage) and Dresghar (her uncle) - comment the builds. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I enjoy sharing it!
  16. My bestseller order from October 20 showed up yesterday. My normal parts order from October 3 is not shipped yet...some of the parts it contains were for my Advent Calender, and it seems like they won’t arrive on time!
  17. What a nice and heartwarming story! So glad for your nephews - and so glad you manage to go on with an new edition of their Animal Advent Calendar!
  18. Well, the minifigs do look good. The Majisto wizard seems to have a new blue printed outfit, the witch also features a new print, on Mrs Castillo's body (like @karrit said), and I'm really wondering how the Black Falcon on the right looks like behind their shield. And there are two rubber capes. I'm a Castle fan with a huge collection of minifig parts, and I'd love to have that set!
  19. So glad to read all these great animal-mould-related news! I'm of course thrilled by the wolf and the new cat (there's no such thing as too many cats). Now I'm hoping for a mountain chough in one of the city sets...juste a simple, yet instantly recognisable recolour of the Dreamzzz raven and here comes my favourite bird in Lego form!
  20. Same for me! I'm thrilled by the new minifig parts and especially the new elvish hairstyles - even if these ones look a little bit cartoony. The set seems to contain many printed parts (incl. shields) that will be useful for medieval-fantasy builders.
  21. For small forest fairy folk! Wow, thanks! I had seen the golden one, but not yet the trans-oranges! June will be a great month for magic-themed MOCs.
  22. Looking at the pictures of the announced sets, there is a decent amount of new interesting parts for fantasy MOCs and minifigs. I'm interested by at least the following: - the new "gem/rock/artifact/macguffin" of the Monkie Kid sets, - at least the lady in yellowish green from the Celestial Pagoda set, - Ariel's hairpiece, and the page from Ursula's book (provided it's not a sticker), - the Prince's shield from the Maleficent Dragon set (also provided it's not a sticker) and perhaps the three little round tiles from this set and the dragon itself, - the maps from the City Jungle subtheme, - the new bubble part, the new flask and the new wands from the HP sets, as well as many of the minifigs, - and Baby Groot!
  23. Given the amount of parts that have been newly added as "out of stock" to Bricks & Pieces (at least in France), I'm definitely eager for next month!
  24. Hmmm...The tiny unprinted golden dragon I can spot perched on the hand of a big statue in an upcoming Ninjago set does not look like the same mold as baby Norbert from 76428 : it seems to have a different posture, with a lower head carriage.
