Hello, the problem with the plugs is solved. For lego extension cables, the light bluish gray plug on the bottomside has side contacts that connect to that special Lego plug of the NXT to PF cable. At Lego-Technic one always discovers something new. Grandpa Lothar

Hello bonox, Thank you for your answer. That is a clear statement and I must consider the outrigger probably only as an optical addition. @ all Meanwhile, the crane superstructure is ready and I will start with the boom. At the moment I have problems with the cables for the Firelli Actuators. I was able to buy 2 cables Lego 8528, but the connectors on the Lego-side do not fit. These are not the usual plugs, as we are used to from Lego Technik. It is a black 2x2 brick with contacts on the 4 knobs. Do you have a solution for me? I look forward to your answers. Grandpa Lothar

Hello, I'm Grandpa Lothar (79) and I'm about to build my Grove 6400 as a very late straggler. The carrier is already finished and works well with the remote control. Now I am working with great pleasure on the Superstructure. I build according to the building instruction "Grove6400-MKIII_1.1 with Firgelli Actuators.pdf" I have 2 questions and if possible ask for your help: 1. The extended outriggers are bending questionably when lifting the carrier. Is that normal? I'm worried if the weight of the superstructure is added. 2. The inner part of the boom is moved over a rope as the middle section extends. I have problems with the building instructions here. Where are the exact points, where the ends of the rope are fixed and how is the rope guided within the boom? I would be very happy if you can and want to answer me. many Greetings Grandpa Lothar

Hello, my models 42009u and 8043u have Lego PF infrared devices for remote control. Unfortunately, my smartphone Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has no IR interface. Here in the thread I've read that it does not work if I just plug in an IR diode in the headphone jack. Is there a solution for me or do I have to buy an older, used smartphone with IR interface for the remote control of my models? Which older smartphones have an IR interface that whould work well with the BrickController app? I ask for your help. Grandpa Lothar -

Hello, I chose the game controller Trust GXT 590 Bosi Wireless. He was the easiest to get here in Germany. Today the controller has arrived and it works flawlessly. The Game Controller Test App and BrickContoller 2 both recognize the Trust Controller. Many thanks to Simon. You have helped me a lot. Now I'm waiting for the S-Brick devices to come. Hello, I'm Grandpa Lothar, 79 years old and totally new to Eurobricks. I am very glad that I found this thread. I bought the Snakebyte VR controller. He does not work. Bluetooth does not accept it as an input device. I gave it back. Can you recommend a game controller that will work with my smartphone Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) for sure. Thank you for your advice.
