  1. My take is that they will time it with actual car debut (Oct-ish of 2019) and for this price we will get 3rd in line after Porsche and Bugatti btw love the topic diversions (electricity behind the iron curtain, age, beans) Being 40 I feel like my profile avatar :)
  2. This is from 2013 but I wonder now if related https://ideas.lego.com/projects/c42d4a84-0dfc-40a8-b659-a9c2ba88aae4/official_comments#content_nav_tabs Or is it based on New 2020 version https://www.landroverusa.com/future-vehicles/defender/index.html
  3. You are on to something Pruimke. That's what I love about Lego, unlimited possibilities with limited # of pieces.
  4. Great Job. I would definitely buy instruction once available
  5. Great catch @Timoonn, I bet that this big panel on the back with '9800 Liebherr' is a giant door that allows access to both hubs
  6. Does anyone know if there is another large toy show as the year progresses where we may see new models or do we just wait till release?
  7. Looks like Andres Lehmann will be reporting live from New York https://zusammengebaut.com/am-samstag-lego-live-ticker-von-der-new-york-toy-fair-65496/
  8. So was that pretty unique that Lego showed video of Liebherr 9800 in London?
  9. Historically speaking, does the New York Toy Fair yield some useful info on H2 sets?
  10. As we are debating physical controllers vs mobile phones Lego is moving into AR https://www.cnet.com/news/lego-hidden-side-is-like-an-tiny-ar-ghostbusters-escape-room/
  11. With all those rims and tires I would not mind seeing heavy cargo pack or lowboy type of trailer for b-model (this way all modules of 42100 can be transported for assembly:)
  12. Awesome rendering @Cumulonimbus Nice to see the model taking shape (at least based on early images)
  13. Following the same logic, if blue car is the size of corvette (11" long) and it appears to me that car transported can carry 3 cars on top then it must be at least 33"-35" long (depending how much space between cars. Just for comparison Mack is 32" long
  14. According to someone that saw the set, he said earlier in this thread that it appeared that zr1 looks close to scale as the car with the car transporter
  15. Like usual, great review Jim. Especially your prediction regarding XL variant of sprockets and large excavator in 2H2019
  16. Car transporter - it looks to me that it can fit 5 cars. 2 top of the truck 1 bottom of the truck 1 top of the trailer 1 bottom of the trailer
  17. Appreciate the guidance. I am fairly new to all this AFOL stuff. Following this and few other threads I have to tell you guys that all your excitement with lego and new sets is really contagious. Not to mention all really professional isights and advise being shared. Great stuff
