  1. No I feel like this was an exception, but I also thought suicide squad was only pg-13. Lego would never do deadpool unless they had a pg-13 or less property to claim the figure was on, and the just-barely-able-to-fit-as-pg-13-christmas-special does not count.
  2. Yeah, then we can have a cameo from the guy whose son kylo killed (in the SNL skit) in TROS. I don't think they'll be in TROS sets, star wars always does a new trooper for their new shows/games/movies/etc, and most are really situationally specific. Resistance S1 had aqua troopers, and they weren't in TROS. If we hear that TROS has an environment in it that's the same as whichever one these troopers are meant for, then it's possible. I hope we get sets sometime in 2020 though, we never got the fireball and the new trooper designs and pyre would be great figures.
  3. I think this is right. These are all likely, I think it's 2. Does this also establish kylo pretending to be matt as canon as well?
  4. fits the addition of red to enemy troops. eah, TLJ style is so much sleeker-looking for the mouth, TFA style looks almost cartoonish to me.
  5. I don't think iron patriot will show up in this wave unless it's the mcu one from endgame. We already got the iron man 3 one, and the other one (dark avengers one) uses a red helmet so it doesn't fit the leak. Why?
  6. I agree. I wouldn't mind another iron patriot, one that's not $40, but yeah it's extremely, EXTREMELY unlikely.
  7. ah. disney d2c (a train i think) was leaked before the countdown finshed... If this is more busts like (stonewars.de, maybe? i forgot who) claimed a few days ago, I'll be happy. I really like the look of that sith trooper bust, and some actually commercially availible ones like it would be great.
  8. Mark 7's faceplate isn't gold, unless i missed something in that leak. I agree, they can't make it purely comics-based with no MCU figures. Also, I'd like to point out that we've never really had comic sets except for the most recent spider-man wave, nearly everything else has been MCU or based on a cartoon. There are a few set exceptions, like detroit steel strikes, but even then everything but the iron man suit was either in agents of shield or the avengers cartoon. Speaking of the avengers cartoon, a quick google search shows that this year's cartoon was based specifically on black panther, which does make the "leaked head" seem more legit, but the cartoon costume seems so close to the MCU one if the head is legit it might just be comics-based. Also, apparently zemo plays a big role in the cartoon, so if these are based on it, maybe we get zemo a year earlier.
  9. Completely agree with both parts of this comment. didn't we get set leaks for the three biggest TLJ sets in may though? even pushing back a month, that's only june. If this is the thing where he shows up on endor it's because he was redeemed, but that's getting away from actual rumor/speculation discussion. As to the possibility of lego force ghosts with presumably luke in the TROS sets, I don't think we'll get force ghosts (at least trans-blue ones) anytime soon. I was just going to say force friday is in october but yeah this is alot more detailed and makes sense. Pushing out sets for a specific film when there's no marketing except a single trailer and some posters isn't going to make it a bestselling set, no matter how iconic it is, moreso if it's a figure like zorri where the general public wouldn't even know who it is.
  10. I'm still invested in the MCU, but I do think eternals will bomb. With shang-chi I think it depends on wether they do something different, or just make black panther in asia.
  11. Sorry, I don't know why I didn't think of that. i do hope we get an updated figure eventually though, I never liked the new mold for his head. Sith trooper is my favorite sequel trilogy design and i hope they don't only appear in the shuttle set. I think they are This is one of my favorite parts of the movie, where his sword just goes away, he doesn't drop it or anything it just...disappears.
  12. I hope he's in the wave at all. he hasn't leaked yet, and he was only in TLJ as a constraction figure, not in any actual wave one TLJ sets.
  13. same here If you're trying to subtly tell us something, can you get any more specific? Knowing this thread every photo is now confirmation of a new set. Also, you were right about the speeders i guess, I hope poe shows up in the at-st set then.
  14. Nor to me, I was just pointing out how so many people complain endlessly about these sets (with good reason), and many end up buying them anyway, alluding to Jameson's "crap, crap, megacrap, I'll give you $200 for all of them" quote (something along those lines I forgot the exact qoute) from one of the Rami films.
  15. They'll be garbage, and we'll buy them anyway. There's a J.J.J. quote here... exactly
  16. the january 2020 sets could concievably be entering production, I don't know really. it's way to normal of a jacket to be star wars though, or at least that's my opinion.
  17. No, it looks nothing like it besides being a shade of green and a jacket
  18. no, the jacket is not star wars, Kaz's jacket is a lighter green and the pheonix imagery is a rebels thing, not resistance. Iron man isn't "confirmed" per se, it could be an MCU suit.
  19. hidden side, not jean grey and too "normal" to be star wars
  20. not a pheonix torso, guys. Not every part is from marvel, the "black panther" head isn't, neither is the "pheonix" torso.
  21. I saw that, it works with @PRbrickbuilder's theory on the mech sets having 3 minifigures each.
  22. I agree, but in some of those films the ghost characters weren't as transparent (Nearly headless nick being a notable exception), and we've never gotten a force ghost before. Nor would it make sense in any of these sets, unless the ghost makes a weird appearance in a fight or something It doesn't, and I think the horn thingies are rubber, too.
  23. I don't think the thanos mech will operate at a similar scale to the thanos bigfig. I agree, he's probably a spider-man set or maybe in one of the "mech" sets. The head isn't black panther, for one thing, I don't know why people think that I personally don't get the resemblance and neither do others on this thread. in addition, the thanos head is almost undoubtedly from the thanos mech set, which appears to be part of a new subtheme.
  24. Using a spoiler tag just in case, just speculation though. I'm sure we'll see them soon. D-O has to be in it as he is the cash grab of this film.
