Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

There's a plethera of comic and other suits with Blue helmets. But it might lend itself to the idea that we're getting the updated War Machine. -
LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion
Brick Cucumber replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
Looking at the big window in the tower, it looks like the building is going to be completely hollow at the back and rather shallow. Definitely don't feel like it merits a price rivaling the castle.- 961 replies

Yeah... Of course they are... Although I see them going quite cheap on Ebay a lot. -

I really hope we get a Green Lantern in the CMF so we can get some dual moulded Lantern legs. Or maybe a Kid Flash for some dual moulded legs for a Reverse Flash. -

I doubt well get any DCEU characters in the DC CMF as not only would that probably be listed as a different name, but they'd need to go through and license the cinematic versions of the characters. Same thing with them having to get the license from the CW shows. I expect this to be DC's run with fully comic-based characters as usual. Maybe if this sells well they'll make a proper series based off their other properties, but I doubt they'd do that for the first run. -
The Soldier 76 hair works really well on him IMO.

There was one rumor that got posted a bit from someone who kinda has a little credibility but it's nothing that;s been confirmed by the most reliable leakers. I definitely expect a second series very soon, but I worry they might hold out for the release of the next Fantastic Beasts film in 2021.

Nice spot. I could definitely see him coming soon, they've already reused figures from Lego Movie's in regular lines with CMF 19. I could see him as a book figure even. I don't want to see him in the CMF as it's usually a opportunity to get new parts and his design is more easy to make. -
I kind of expect them to do something like this in the line for the legs. I think you're pretty accurate with the idea for the body though.

Yeah, the "leaker" stole a joke picture from the r/just2good subreddit and posted it claiming it to be real for credit. He's also acting like a bit of an megablocks about it. Here's the original post https://www.reddit.com/r/just2good/comments/by7fel/lego_minion_leak/

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Brick Cucumber replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm personally really excited for this wave now. At first, 'Avengers Bike' and 'Avenger's Truck' were pretty disappointing in the context of an Endgame wave, but with these sets being comic based sets, I'm really excited to see what they actually include. Also, I don't see much discussion of the 'Superheroes' sets in here. Seeing as it's confirmed to be both Marvel and DC (Maybe majoritably Marvel) it might be possible that both sides of the fence will be happy with what we get. -

I also don't see why people are so against the comic sets. Even the leaks we've seen so far are better than the figs we got in the Endgame wave. -

I was thinking more of an Iron Man mech, which might be a comic-esque hulkbuster. As much as I want more Endgame sets, I can't see them ever putting Hawkeye into a Spider-man set while he's still in Avengers sets. I used to agree with that sentiment, but with more and more comic based leaks, it's looking more likely to be from a comic book Black Panther. -

Seeing as we already saw a Comic Thanos head and what's looking likely to be a Black Panther head, I think it's fair to assume he's gonna be in one of the avengers sets. -

We just got what is undoubtedly a Comic book Hawkeye headpiece. So this wave looks to have quite a large amount of comic based sets. -

It'd also match up better in scale to the Hulk and Thanos bigfigs. -

I'd love to get an updated version. I'd love to see an updated costume. It might be likely because of the character's gained relevance after the CW show, but I'd expect them to put him into a set as a selling point if anything. -

Looking at what Zebra encompasses (including Art and Music) I doubt that we'll get Minifigures in it at all, that's just my speculation. I also seriously doubt Lego would make another theme to put 'Marvel' and 'Disney' D2C's in and also make an 'Art' and 'Music' D2C. It's definitely something different to what we've seen because there's no real way to make any kind of building or minifigure scale sets for concepts like 'art' and 'music' and we're already getting a new Disney minifigure scale D2C this year with no trace of them opening a new theme for it. As much as I'd love to see some bigger builds from the Marvel universe, I think people are setting themselves up for disappointment expecting 'Zebra' to be some sort of minifigure based set. -

We kinda already got a comic Black Lightning in the Lego Batman CMF wave 2. Seeing as Black Vulcan was essentially a clone of Black lightning made for the Super-friends show. If you remove the helmet you have a pretty spot on black lightning. -

Pretty sure the exception was made because of the outfit change from his original look to the updated New-52 look. It's not like Spider-man figures haven't come out since we got one of his suits as an exclusive. Also, the black suit released at Comic Con looks more like a black version of the Man of Steel suit than the comic book Recovery Suit so I'd say it's very possible (especially seeing the popularity of the suit and it's recent return in the Reborn / Lois & Clark storyline) -

True, but they didn't approve this and mentioned that it would be taken into further consideration. It's entirely possible that they'd label it as part of a large model line alongside the ideas logo (Similarly to how they do with licensed sets). Either way, I think a lot of people here are way off with their guesses that it'll be some sort of building from the MCU as the Marvel and Disney themes already have those under the UCS and regular Disney lines. I also seriously doubt this line will have figures in any form as that is again something Marvel and Disney already do in their respective lines. -

I think this is a really good guess. Although, I think it would probably be: Marvel: Iron Man helmet buildable replica Has anyone considered that 'Zebra Music' might be a spot for the Functioning Lego Piano from Ideas. It might lend merit to the idea that this line will consist of large scale models. -

I expect the same numbers, but probably not Joker, Catwoman and Cyborg as we've had them many times in recent waves with some sets using them still on shelves. I'd probably expect comic versions of characters currently popular in other DC media (EG, Jay Garrick, Robin, Kid Flash, Artemis, Green Arrow, Superboy) to appear as that'd work better as a selling point and wouldn't detract from the sales of sets featuring the main DC heroes. I also expect characters relevant in the comics (Zatanna, Black Adam, Martian Manhunter, Kyle Rayner) will have a strong chance of appearing too. I doubt they'd put any of the heroes we commonly used to sell sets in a CMF. I'd love a Mirror Master, especially in a CMF as it'd make it really easy to get a collection of mirror duplicates. -
LEGO Ideas - Central Perk Coffee of Friends
Brick Cucumber replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't think it will be. I think it might be the decal they made being slightly offset from the white colour of the bricks in the rendering program. Lego Ideas sets have had consistently printed pieces and I don't see them changing that now. I'm really hoping they follow the recent Stranger Things licensed set and put the Minifigure parts on bricks and pieces. The new face prints and clothes are perfect for other characters (E.G Ross' face for Nick Cage )
