  1. @JoeChu1980 Thanks a lot! I was actually inspired by the photo below for the floor. @DrMuttonchops Thanks for all the feedback! And I'm super impressed that you remember the character's names even though Lt. Markland is not directly mentioned in this post (Her hair is a black rubber piece btw).
  2. *Your entry has earned 18 XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: As a part of establishing a diplomatic presence in the Core Worlds, the ISD Relentless is hosting a delegation of high standing members of the Chiss Ascendancy. Me and my crew have been tasked with showing our guests the inner workings of the Commenor Remnant fleet. We will do everything we can to display the hospitality, efficiency, and the supremacy of the Commenor Remnant. The Chiss is known for their skills in hand-to-hand combat. A skill also honored among us imperials. As I suspected they wanted to break the ice by testing ours against theirs. A test I looked very much forward too. Hopefully our guests will see the benefit in a strong alliance between the Chiss and us. /// Let me know what you think! ;)
  3. @goatman461 Thanks for the fast reply - makes sense.
  4. @goatman461 @MKJoshA Do you guys award XP for additional images in a submission post, or do you only award XP for what is in the first photo? E.g. my prisson submission below - do I get XP for the miniature ship in the same post or do I have to create a new post for that build to get XP? :) Just nice to know.
  5. Thanks guys - I wish I had more time to build a big sith temple... Could be really cool... :)
  6. *Your entry has earned 15XP* During the time of the Old Republic a Jedi task force, led by the Cathar Jedi Master Kainai, was sent to examine a powerful dark side current in the force, on the volcanic planet Sarapin, uncovered by Vodo-Siosk Baas through meditation. The current came from an ancient and very powerful sith holocron that had been activated in the depths of the forgotten temple on Sarapin. The four jedi were steadily moving deeper into the maw of darkness. Unaware but inevitably moving closer to their fatal fate... /// Seedpart is the black stud shooters making the pattern in the tile floor. The unknowing jedi moving further into the temple... To their ultimate demise... /// Let me know what you think... ;) Below is some behind the scenes and detail shots... I hope you enjoy... ;)
  7. Thank you guys!! @Professor Thaum It's just colored shapes with a feathered or blurred edge, and then just applying transparency and the 'overlay' effect to the individual layers. I'll see of I can find a tutorial or get around to make one myself. If you haven't translated the signs already the blue one says: The Tin Can Cantina, and the green one says: Organic Flesh.
  8. @LegoRacer1 We have a PM channel. I'm sure @Commander Beltar will invite you as soon as he sees this. :)
  9. Thanks guys - I really appreciate the comments! @Nicotoa Phew - I think I have been on and off for two months... Thanks! All lighting was done in photoshop.
  10. *Your entry has earned 22XP* Mission Log from Agent Amus: Ever since battle of Endor the imperial presence on colony worlds such as Foundry has been sloppy at best. Even though the Republic has declared Foundry a member of the state, they have shown little interest in anything other than the aristocratic and political districts of the planet. In their ignorance they have ignored the real power of Foundry. The industrial underworld. Mission log - continued: I’ve arranged a meeting at the cantina known among the locals as the Can Can. Clever nickname for a place that is supposed to look like it is run by droids. Mission log - continued: My intel suggests another individual is running the place. Running most of the underworld on Foundry actually. Inside the Can Can... When the music is playing... The bar has anything from blue milk to Merenzane Gold... Wealthy guests drinking Merenzane Gold... Sore looser... The street outside... Someone trying to remain anonymous... Staying warm in the Underworld... Phew. I finally got to post this one - I wish I could have paid more attention to the wall-work and stuff like that, but the build just took way too much time - and I wanted to move on. The diagonal walls was a real challenge - but cramping loads of details in this one was really fun... Let me know what you think! Below is a little peak behind the scenes, and close-ups...
  11. @mccoyed Thanks! I'm glad you like it! :) Thanks a lot. Yeah, I see what you mean... :)
  12. Awesome thanks! :) That makes sense. Hmm, what if all members of a faction decides to leave for an allied faction - letting their faction be absorbed by the one they transfer to? According to the rules PC's can freely change factions, but they leave their IP's with the faction they leave. If the move is planned and the entire faction is absorbed - would the absorbed factions IP just reset/be lost or would/could the 'absorber' receive the IP, since it is a 'friendly' or planned take-over? :) I know this is a very hypothetical scenario, but I just thought it would be interesting that a faction would hand over all their resources in the event of being absorbed by another faction - very SWy. Cheers
  13. Thank you for the quick reply. I came to think of another question - you've outlined how a player can start their own faction when they reach 150XP, but what about factions joining each other? Could two factions create an alliance. Or could a small faction pledge allegiance to a bigger faction - e.g. like the Hutts joining the Empire or the Banking Clan joining the Separatists? I think it could create some intriguing RPG... Just a thought - and a question...
  14. It's been awhile since XP has been awarded? Any updates?
  15. Thanks @Gubi0222 My photo setup is pretty simple - just a big white piece of paper as background and then use a backwards flash that bounces of the white ceiling. :) Yeah, transparent pieces could work too! Here is my stormtrooper hack - I think it works quite well. It looks like the black neck and enables more poses. :) Thanks for the feedback!
  16. Super cool stop motion! I also like how you tell stories through the holoprojector! :)
  17. I LOVE the small subtle details, like the grass breaking through the ground, and the control panel protruding from the wall! Really great attention to detail...
  18. *Your entry has earned 7XP* Mission Log from Senator Belrus: In light of recent epidemic breakouts on Kuat, The Imperial Remnant high command wants to cease this opportunity to establish a presence on the planet. Due to new republic allegiance, the remnant has dispatched a stormtrooper platoon to an abandoned imperial facility in the polar region of the northern hemisphere. I have arranged to meet the regional archduke at the facility under diplomatic immunity. The Archduke: Good morning senator. We’ve considered your proposal. The epidemic breakout is currently contained to slums and lower levels of dense urban areas in our equatorial regions. It seems like the epidemic doesn’t take to the cold - why I imagine you chose this location for our meeting… Senator Belrus: *pokerface* The Archduke: Since the republic’s health organization has been unable to show any progress in fighting these outbreaks, the Kuati aristocrats have decided to declare a state of neutrality for Kuat. We’ve signed the Commenor Treaty allowing your presence on the planet and ring. We welcome your assistance as long as you comply with the Galactic Concordance. Senator Belrus: The terms are acceptable. We will sign the Commenor Treaty. The Archduke: And one more thing Senator. No bucketheads! Senator Belrus: *nods* Some behind the scenes shots: Let me know what you think! CC are more than welcome... ;)
  19. For everyone looking to tie their stories to canon - Alex from Star Wars Explained just made a video about the Imperial Remnant after the battle of Jakku. Enjoy! ;)
  20. Exactly - I tried to play around with the existing lore of the planet... ;) Thanks guys - I really appreciate the feedback.
  21. *Your entry has earned 7XP* Mission Log from Sr. Lieutenant Vascal: Hokey religions and ancient weapons has always been a passion in my family. So much so that the Remnant high command has put me in charge of a reconnaissance mission following a lead on a forgotten Jedi shrine. The lead has brought me to the harsh backwater world Ambria. Day 1 - I arrived in of the only settlements on the planet called Natthami Outpost. Settlement is a big word for what is basically a few dilapidated sheds and tents huddled together. Shortly after my arrival I was approached by a hooded figure known amongst the locals as one of the “Natthas Ee’k”. The waste pilgrims. This mysterious wanderer seemed to know the lands well enough and agreed to be my guide against a fair contribution to him and his brethren. … Day 16 - I’ve learned the name of the wanderer is Bur Eth’n. He’s lead me to what seems like an entrance to an old imperial facility. This is highly irregular since our records show no signs of imperial activity on Ambria. I am not even sure the Empire knew of its existence. I will report my findings before I proceed inside... /// I'm trying out some new techniques - at least they are new to me (; - and I'm happy with this small build. I've tried to capture the toxic/harsh landscape of an alien world, as well as experimenting with snot and angled/tilted walls... I hope you like it... As always, here's a few sneak peaks behind the scenes...
  22. Hi guys, Some of you have been asking for the banners I've been using in my mocs. Here's a link to a high res version. I look forward to see how you use them - if you do. :)
  23. Love the new way - agree with @dvogon
  24. Just updated the behind the scenes with some more shots of the Lictor-class Dungeon ship - also comparing it to an Imperial Star Destroyer. @JoeChu1980 Thanks buddy - I've been inspired by the movie Lockout (especially for the way the prisoners wear their jumpsuits). I will experiment more with snot in future builds. @Reaper Thanks. :)
  25. *Your entry has earned 9XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: After retaking our base on Dennaskar, high command has tasked us with rounding up additional rebels and insurgents from surrounding systems and escort them to the top secret IDS Incarcerator orbiting the backwater planet Molavar. These prisoners are supposedly an important part of Operation Stronghold. The Incarcerator was the last of its kind of Imperial Lictor-class dungeon ships. After the loss at the battle of Endor, warden commander Col Gran hid the IDS Incarcerator in the Outer Rim. Commander Col was eventually contacted by Admiral Rovv and convinced to join the Commenor Remnant cause and remain a secret known only to Rovv and a few high standing members of the remnant. The IDS Incarcerator was a highly modified Lictor-class ship, designed as an inescapable supermax prison. All prison cells onboard the ship has two entrances. One leading into the ship, and the other towards the empty vacuum of space, with only a ray shield keeping the prisoners from being sucked into oblivion. A little peek behind the scenes... Let me know what you think. :) Cheers
