  1. Thanks! I just found those two gate pieces and thought they fit the aesthetic perfectly... Almost something out of the old Conan movie! Anyways, those elements sparked a lot of interesting ideas... I may use them for something else soon...
  2. @Ross Fisher Good times... ;) @Simulterious Oldest trick in the Imp book...
  3. I remember suggesting the pieces, but I NEED to know how you put them together!
  4. Maybe the red bricks feel a little out of place, but I wouldn’t use the word 'wrong'. Ziost is an ancient Sith world, so I'd expect to see old ruins, mystic statues etc. Also most images of the world are gray, rocky landscapes with crooked black trees... See below... There's so many cool features and so much cool storytelling on that world...
  5. Nice! Again good work on the landscape... I look forward to see you trying out these in a bigger moc! ;)
  6. Great original buildings! I love that you captured something fresh, but still made it feel like SW. Good job. I'd probably finish of the build with a black edge, to get rid of the green plate shining through... ;)
  7. The droid is super cool! Looks like something that would fit in any SW spaceport... I'm not really feeling the Ziost vibe here though...
  8. You nailed the center-piece of the droid!!! The feet seem a bit clunky and it could do with some more greeblework, but I bet this will be the basis for a lot of different versions of this droid... I'd personally love to see how you assembled the head... Also a great figbarf. I'd love to see the AB Boyband in action... ;)
  9. This moc is incredible - the scale is super interesting. Wauw!
  10. *Your entry has earned 17 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Cdr. Bannon: Greetings your excellence! With all due respect, you have been wronged by the Jedi once too many. I regret that the Empire deprived you of any chance of retribution, but I am here to make amends. I have in my possession a Holocron that holds clues to the whereabouts of several Jedi. Unfortunately I need to find someone able to unlock this device. Can you help me? The Pirate King, Morku’Rath: Young soldier... Tell me… Why should we not cut your limbs off, and burn you alive… Then your little shining trinket would be ours, to do with as we please… Cdr. Bannon: If I don’t leave this planet alive, my Imperial Star Destroyer in orbit will turn this wretched maggot lair to rubble. Morku’Rath: BWAHAHAHA! You strike a hard bargain… Are you sure you’re not a pirate yourself? Mmh… We will help you… Let us see… Sometime earlier onboard Cdr. Bannons flagship, the ISD Manticore... Excerpt from Cdr. Bannon’s log: I followed Lord Kadus' suggestion and returned to my ship. Just as I arrived a holo transition came through, and from none other than the Crimson Duchess. I had met her only once before, so this had to be special! Holo transmission from the Crimson Duchess: *Commander, your Empire needs you. As you may suspect, the Triumvirate is not a dying remnant, struggling to survive. We are a part of a grander design! With your next mission you will step through the veil, and there will be no going back. We are counting on your loyalty Commander!* Cdr. Bannon’s log - continued: My mission sent me to the barren rock Botor. Not a system I was familiar with, but intel says that it is run by an old pirate cult called the Flesh Mongers. These pirates have something I need! /// This challenge was a great fit with Cdr. Bannon's continued storyline.
  11. @Doge CR Welcome onboard. Please make your way to our discord and we'll get you up to speed...
  12. Updated with Imperial stickers...
  13. Thanks! I'm really happy with how the string piece worked out!
  14. Nice and original... Cool to see another submerged build. IMO we see too few of these more creative terrains... ;) You should upload a well lit image 'behind the scenes' for judging purposes, so we can see the details...
  15. Thanks guys! Much appreciated
  16. @Skrtch Hello there... The Triumvirate is always looking for new conscripts. I'll send you a PM with details...
  17. I really appreciate you elaborating on your process, because otherwise using big pieces in that fashion could come off as a 'short-cut' to get the effect you want. I think that's a general thing. Using big lego pieces can easily be perceived as the 'easy way'... Even though it is not in your case...
  18. Nice! You pack a lot of stuff onto a 16x32 space... There's some details that are a little crude, but the overall look and feel is brilliant. I really get that SW fringe feel from this! Good job!
  19. Simple but beautiful! Your wall designs are always interesting...
  20. I have to second the creativity of the speeders. Good job!
  21. This build made me laugh... The stowaway dude frozen in carbonite in the back of the shop... There has to be an interesting story! I like how this snot approach adds something new to your style!
  22. Your landscape could get a little more love, to make your speeders justice... The chunky speeder is awesome!!
  23. Nice to see a speeder that does not follow the conventional 'bike' look... The other one (the bike one) is a bit plain... You may want to download the building instructions from real lego sw bikes, and then modify them to be your own... That's a good way to get into building your own cool speeder bikes... ;)
  24. This take on swoop bikes is really great! You should also share your inspiration for this... Makes it even better! ;)
