  1. I don't and I didn't say I did. Just said it's a great figure But the leakers do say she's from Ninjago
  2. I've never really been into Batman untill I played the Arkham games around mid-2019 so I didn't really care about the TLBM sets when they came out. Only managed to get the small Joker balloon set and most of the CMF characters I wanted (mostly the villains, wasn't a fan of all the Batsuits) as the other cool sets are really expensive now. Really sad to have missed out on all those great designs, but oh well...
  3. The Kai figure doesn't interest me but that female figure looks great!
  4. The Night Buzzard comes with Rey, Cardo and Kuruk. Has been confirmed a while ago
  5. I'm pretty sure @Mandalorianknight meant it was a good torso/legs for people looking to make a custom Ahsoka figure. The fact this figure is from City is incredibly obvious
  6. Probably not a very good idea but it does prevent the thread from becoming stag-nant
  7. I can't do anything otter than agreeing with you
  8. People waking up in the morning and reading 5 pages of otter jokes are going to be so confused
  9. No need to tell me to chill out, I'm perfectly chill. But instead of continously going against everyone saying ''they're wrong and I'm right'' you might want to consider reading what @LegoFjotten had to say
  10. Exactly! These books have existed for ages. By know we know how they work and we at least have an idea of how they're made. These books don't give us hints at what's to come, those are just accidental ''hints'' because these books and the sets are based off the same sourcematerial (as a lot of other people here have said). Is it really that hard to just swallow your pride for a second and admit you're wrong?
  11. The version of Buckbeak appearing in books was the old pre-reboot version, Hermione's patronus being on a page full of patronusses is hardly suprising and last time I checked birds needed to open their wings to allow themselves to fly. These books aren't hinting at future stuff
  12. Multiple smaller sets would've been ideal but unrealistic, one big set is pretty much the only way to do it so it's not suprising at all Over the past decade we've seen tons of books coming out and a lot of people saying they hint at upcoming sets, which they never do. These books are just designed as activity books for kids, nothing more. Anytime one of these books does hint at an upcoming set it's a big coincidence. And saying they hinted at Diagon Alley, Shacklebolt, the Weasley's and Bellatrix etc is kinda weird. Do you honestly expect a Harry Potter book to come out without featuring those characters and locations. These books aren't made with future sets in mind, the people who make them know just as much as we do.
  13. As there isn't even the slightest indication of Deadpool or any of the other X-Men characters appearing in sets anytime soon can we please move back to topic?
  14. 75252 is the UCS ISD. And 199,99 isn't steep at all, most UCS sets have that price
  15. When was the last time a Star Wars advent calendar had more than 1 exclusive figures?
  16. I knew about LEGO's new deal with Universal but I vaguely remember Chris McKay saying development on the sequel had started in late 2018, early 2019. Given development started before the new deal I guess there is a small possibility of this project still getting finished but who knows
  17. I 100% agree, most of the best DC sets came from that movie. Speaking of which, do we know anything on wether or not the sequel is still happening? That would be awesome. But as it's a cool and unique DC-related idea I doubt LEGO will do it
  18. Deadpool isn't coming in a set any time soon, deal with it. Besides him being particularly well known for violence from the movies he's done some pretty weird and child-unfriendly stuff in a ton of his comics. Sure not all the material he's in is like that but most of it is, it's kinda Deadpools thing. Do we really think LEGO will consider putting another Deadpool in a set aimed at children (SDCC is aimed at collectors) while the character: - Chops of limbs everywhere - Swears a lot - Killed the entire Marvel universe - Used his own daughter as bait - Lit an elephant on fire while it was alive as a joke - Killed his own parents - Makes fun of suicidal people - Killed Beast and wore his fur as a coat - Shot Spider-Man in the head at pointblank range - Shoots innocent people because he feels like it - Forced vegetarians to eat meat The list of bad stuff he's done goes on and on and on. Before his movie appearances he wasn't as well known so these events were pretty easy to fall under the radar. But no way in hell a random parent would give their kid a Deadpool set knowing what might show up if that kid googles who he is and what he has done over the years.
  19. That won't look weird, it's a common thing
  20. Ollivander can easily be reused but Umbridge and Slughorn will definetely stay exclusive, the only part I can see LEGO reusing is the face prints (they did the same thing with the Bricktober War Machine figure). Umbridge is based on this outfit: There are still a few different variants to choose from like these, the left one will probably appear in the Grawp set:
  21. I'll just take my chances on it and skip it. Especially given the current state of the world and my job I can't justify spending more than 20 euro on a book I don't care about just to get a figure. Especially considering that figure might pop up again if the CoS gets made similar to how Unkar Plutt's thug ended up being reused for the Quadjumper set after being a book ''exclusive'', at least it's not a figure I'll feel terrible about if I do miss it.
  22. Me too but I'm about 90% sure it won't be a day one purchase for me, I'm definetely waiting for either an awesome GWP or a good discount
  23. I know you were joking, just thought I'd explain my personal thoughtproces when it comes to buying or skipping Harry Potter sets. I'm not a super big fan of LEGO Star Wars either as those sets are really declining in quality and are overall just overpriced every single time. In the last few years I've only bought a couple of battlepacks, Yoda's hut, Luke's hut and the Rise of Skywalker version of the Falcon. I generally like the theme but it's not even close to being a priority to me, that title goes to Harry Potter and Jurassic I hope LEGO hurries up with those June setpictures, the wait is killing me Considering it's cheap, has great figures, an awesome patronus and well-designed trees I highly recommend picking up Expecto Patronum, you're really missing out on something amazing! As for the Horntail and Carriage I'd recommend buying them if you like the figures, if you don't they aren't worth it because they aren't essential imo (I do have them both).
  24. It also depends on what someone likes and the amount of room he/she has ofc. Besides Harry Potter I'm a big fan of Jurassic Park/World, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and a few non-LEGO things so my budget and space is limited. When it comes to Harry Potter I've chosen to stick mainly to Hogwarts and the surrounding area with the sets I'm buying (only exception so far being the graveyard) because I don't have space or money for a dozen seperate displays (similarly I've chosen not to buy any of the non-MCU Marvel stuff). Though I'm very interested in the Diagon Alley D2C and I might still get the Knight Bus if it includes the Leaky Cauldron. A set like the Hogwarts Express was really easy to skip for me because 1) I don't have room for it and 2) the only figure I wanted was Lupin which was pretty cheap to buy on Bricklink.
