  1. To me it looks like WB just invested a little more than usual in HP when the FB movies came out because the brand would become relevant again. But while FB kinda backfired (the first movie was fairly well received but a lot of people hated CoG) they did find out how loved Harry Potter still is which resulted in more HP stuff coming out from all companies. Imo the mistake they made with the Fantastic Beasts movies was making Newt, Tina, Queenie and Jakob the main characters. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, but I feel like their stories started and ended perfectly in the first FB movie. I personally feel like this should've been a movie series with new characters for each movie but with Grindelwald as the overarching villain instead of 5 movies about Newt and crew.
  2. This is definetely not the last year of Harry Potter sets, it's one of the best selling licensed themes. I'd say this theme has definetely 1 or 2 more years of content, next year for Deathly Hallows / FB3 and 2021 to fill in some gaps. After that I think it would depend on the succes of the Fantastic Beasts films and the amount of things LEGO could still make.
  3. You must not have read anything from the last few pages because Borgin and Burkes has just been confirmed and it's pretty much all we've been talking about
  4. The gun isn't new though so we don't know if it actually comes in the sets
  5. Just a new angle, we've seen that figure weeks ago
  6. Really? Completely missed that tbh Easily the summer wave Well if we had actual confirmation that we wouldn't be getting a B&B set in the reboot I would gladly have it in the D2C because of it's importance. But we don't know that so theoretically it could've still been a standalone set. I agree, it's better to end this here.
  7. I agree, it's sad how that polybag from 2016 is still the only way to get a proper modern version of Nightwings blue suit (2006's printing is outdated imo and MM is too stylized)
  8. I'm pretty sure it was confirmed already but is the Nightwing figure from the Bat-Base the red or blue version?
  9. But B&B still had a lot of potential to be a standalone set, unlike most DA shops. I'm not unhappy or mad we're getting B&B, I just would've preferred other shops I 100% agree with this Besides it not being screenaccurate it also wouldn't have looked good. They would've printed the skintone on either the pink or black parts, on pink it wouldn't be noticable and on black it would turn into gray since LEGO's light-on-dark printing is awfull I don't know about other people but I would never buy a $400 Diagon Alley set if 2 of the most iconic buildings weren't included If the heads had 2 sides we definetely would've seen the other side by now
  10. Yup, we know a few things about that figure: it's a colored clonetrooper (as in it's part of one of the legions), it isn't Cody and it's not a specific character UCS Gonk Droid
  11. Exactly, it's not the fact that Borgin and Burke's is included that is disappointing but the more obscure shops we're missing out on because of it's inclusion
  12. It's like the NRG ninja but worse
  13. The GWP is fine, not bad but not great either. Not a necessary little set for me. I hope the DS2-remake rumor is true, although I personally wouldn't be interested in buying it I'd love to see how they pull it off with all the new techniques and pieces at their disposal
  14. Neither does the Leaky Cauldron... That's great news, if we don't get OotP Sirius this year I'll get my torch and pitchfork Yup That would be fine, I don't need them all to be fully enclosed when that means getting less shops
  15. Hm, while I really wanted it to be an upscaled version of the GWP I'm fine with it not being that. Borgin and Burkes will undoubtedly turn out great and be fun to buid but I heavily dislike it's inclusion in this set. It's Diagon Alley, not Knockturn Alley so it has no place in this set imo. They already made that mistake in 2011 so I'm sad to see they made the same mistake again. Won't stop me from buying the set though!
  16. I hate those fabric skirts, glad it's printing Falconfan called him a ''reposter who turns small rumors and hints into fake information'' when he put MoM info out there so it's definetely fake I'd go for the sets, besides the D2C having a much longer shelftime it will also be more discounted if you wait long enough. Even 10% saves you 40 euro (or 45 considering LEGO prices sets like dumbasses) The amount of points you get is listed at checkout, but I personally don't think it's worth it. I can get most sets for less at other stores than at lego with VIP points
  17. Luna leaked, she looks fantastic EDIT: ninja'd
  18. That's great news, though I'm really annoyed Ron is in there like @MaxHeadroom predicted. Lupin should've been included instead of him, he actually fought and Ron did basically nothing there. But it's not much to get upset about, we're finally getting our first Tonks figure! Let's hope it's the HBP version and we'll get OotP in the CMF
  19. It will retail for $400 and has setnumber 75978, that's it. All the other info are guesses based on hints from kingnono but it's not concrete info
  20. No. We've already seen pictures with the full contents of the set
  21. These better pictures make the helmet look much better, I like it!
  22. We discussed this extensively last week so if you want to read the full discussion you should go back a few pages. Long story short the 2018 sets are most likely all going to retire in late 2020 with a possible exception for the Great Hall considering how important it is (not counting the D2C, which will obviously stick around a little longer). That's going to be a gigantic bathroom then
  23. I'm pretty sure there are but idk how many The base they use to produce the molds in is really expensive, they don't buy new machines for every new piece they create. That would be really cost-inefficient
  24. Yup, by multiple sources
  25. I have a lot of sets from the pilot season and Rise of the Snakes, after that my interest in Ninjago really went down. I still watched the show and got a small set occasionally but I wasn't really into it and my attention shifted to other themes. Nowadays I primarily buy usefull prints, figures and exclusive molds from Bricks and Pieces to use on custom figures. But this season does sound like it will have a lot to offer for uses outside of Ninjago itself
