  1. Fans: come up with hundreds of amazing and realistic ideas LEGO: DiD i HeAr YoU wAnTeD aNoThEr BaTmObIlE?
  2. I skipped the Hogwarts Express and Quidditch Match (I did buy some of the figs on Bricklink though), Aragog, D2C, DA GWP and the Knight Bus. Simply because I'm on a limited budget and Harry Potter isn't the only theme I like, can't spend more than you have If you just want Lupin you can always just bricklink him, that's what I did
  3. The DC wave was made for the 80th anniversary of Batman, they were revealed on the anniversary in march and released in august. That's why we got the pictures so early
  4. Couldn't have said it better, well maybe Borgin and Burkes could be a standalone set but that's not in Diagon Alley so doesn't really count
  5. Releasing a $400 set with ''gaps'' were the 2 most iconic structures are supposed to be is an extremely bad businessmodel. I highly doubt this set will sell well if they leave Gringotts and WWW out
  6. Wow, I bet no one saw that coming
  7. ''They had us in the first half, I'm not gonna lie''
  8. Rumor has it Ant-Man 3 is going to introduce Sue Storm / Invisible Woman so if F4 are coming soon X-Men shouldn't be too far behind
  9. Why am I not surprised it's an actual thing
  10. Looking at the budget and past D2C's I'm 99% sure the buildings won't be fully enclosed. The underground thing has been discussed earlier today but I personally feel like that would really detract from the overall look and feel of the set
  11. Before looking it up I seriously thought it was a Raptor-shaped Batmech, which wouldn't surprise me one bit given LEGO's trackrecord of Batman vehicles
  12. Do we really need another Arkham though?
  13. I'm definetely thinking either Snape or Dumbledore but I'm more leaning towards Snape since he's easier to include in a set like the Astronomy Tower (they would never include Dumbledore in that set). The CMF info isn't new though
  14. And then start looking forward to the a new $100 playset called Heroic Might. Allowing you to put 10 of Star Wars' most iconic villains against the Chosen One, only for all of them to get obliterated within seconds!
  15. Wishlisting is not allowed here though, that's why this thread exists:
  16. Just as a heads up to the American and Canadian fans: this wave might come out in August instead of June similar to last year, though we won't know for sure untill the reveal
  17. If they include the Ironbelly it wouldn´t be playscale but more of a display piece which would add to the set imo (unless it´s made by the same designer as the Horntail)
  18. Because the selection doesn't make any sense: - Harry - exactly the same as the CMF figure, not really anything to make it unique except for making him inaccurate or changing the faceprint - Dumbledore - same as Harry - Bellatrix - reuse from the Burrow - Voldemort - same as Harry and Dumbledore - Fudge - reuse from Hagrid's Hut but with hair instead of a hat - Percy - after CoS Percy becomes nothing more than a useless background character (movies ofc), our chances of getting a post-CoS Percy are pretty much nonexistent. Even the Fat Lady has a higher chance of becoming a figure
  19. The minifigure selection for that MoM set posted by the same guy just further proves how fake it is. Five reused figures and a new Percy, how is this even remotely close to being believable?! Not even LEGO is that stupid
  20. Pretty sure Marvel isn't getting a D2C this year
  21. Don't forget LEGO generally doesn't care about scale. And the Ironbelly doesn't need a rock area to sit on, if properly designed it could easily be placed on the roof of Gringotts just like it is in the Universal park. It would allow LEGO to include the Ironbelly without having to adjust the building itself
  22. I am no insider but afaik they sold poorly
  23. If there were more Batman sets we would've heard some rumors by now so I wouldn't count on it
