Univeral has now officially signed a deal with LEGO which gives them the exclusive rights to produce LEGO movies for the next 5 years. Fingers crossed they will make a Jurassic World movie!

Same here, especially considering a lot of effort goes into making sets for those movies. The sets we got for TLBM are easily the best DC sets we've ever gotten. This deal with Universal does open up the possibility of a LEGO Jurassic World movie, which I would personally love to see!

As a classic version of Bronze Tiger would kinda force LEGO to create a new mold for his mask I'm 99,99% sure it'll be the same as the figure from LEGO DC Super Villains but with less detailing

Same for me, alongside the fact ordering from LEGO directly is more expensive than other retailers ofcourse. The chances of a LEGO Harry Potter movie are now pretty much nonexistent. Harry Potter is owned by Warner Brothers, the previous company to have the exclusive right to make LEGO movies (that's why Voldemort could appear in The LEGO Batman Movie). Universal doesn't own the Harry Potter movies

I don't mind exclusive minifigures, literally all minifigures that only appear in 1 set are exclusive. I'm just not a big fan of GWPs having them But it's still just a rumor and we don't even know what the figure will be so it's probably better to end this here

I'd rather see Gideon in a different (preferably cheaper) set, Gideon's TIE isn't that different from the standard one

I think your idea of putting exclusive nanofigures in these GWPs is really good. It would give people who want the GWP something they can actually use with it and the absence of an exclusive minfigure doesn't ''force'' minifigure collectors to get it.

It's not a shock for people though, a GWP coming out with the D2C was to be expected. Some people, including me, just don't like GWP's with exclusive minifigures. So even if a GWP is most likely going to have an exclusive minifigure it can still be disappointing for those who aren't big fans of GWP's to begin with. My main problem with GWP's is how they are only available through LEGO themselves. For me ordering from LEGO means I have to pay significantly more money for a set then at the retailers/shops I usually buy my sets from. What makes it even worse is knowing the exclusive figure you'll be getting the GWP for may turn up in another future set (*cough* Ollivander *cough*)

I never want to see a D2C Hogwarts playset, that's what the normal sets are for. It would suck for lego to make 75% of the castle available through normal sets and put the other 25% in a D2C just so you have to buy it to get a full Hogwarts. In my opinion D2C's should be standalone things, not additions to a running ''series'' of sets Werewolf Lupin would probably require a new mold to be done justice and I don't remember ever seeing a GWP exclusive figure using a new mold

This is honestly more disappointing than exciting. I personally only care for the exclusive figure as I'm not a fan of microscale. Wether or not I'll get this completely depends on the releasedate

While that's true it's basic storytelling to make your main characters likeable. They have some nice pieces in the sets but storywise Jack, Parker and BD are some of my least favorite goodguys out of all the LEGO-Original IP's

A new Batman book leaked, nothing special though. Doesn't even include a figure, just a bunch of random pieces (cowl, batarang, spider, hotdog, katana, handcuffs, chicken leg, crowbar, studshooter, 3 studs, generic gun piece, fire, fish, money and a crystal)

Legacy Garmadon with the Mega Weapon does still appear in a new Ninjago book, luckily for us were not missing out on much with the Mega Weapon. It looks terrible
