  1. But the oni all used the same prints if I'm not mistaken, the Lowly are all very distinctive characters that would need seperate prints
  2. In my opinion the Lockwood Manor set is kinda mix of both worlds. It's not really a proper playset but it's not really a display set either, it could be used really well for both things really! It's also very mod-ready, if you want to turn it more into a display or playset it's pretty easy to do. The lab in 2015's Indominus Rex set is indeed located in the watch tower, it's very small but I guess it's something. I don't think you've missed much if you missed out on that set (especially with the Indominus' rerelease last wave), I'm a massive fan of the Jurassic franchise and I don't have any of the 2015 sets (it wasn't a particularly good year for me). The only thing really noticeable when it comes to those sets is how ridiculously expensive they've become. The Velociraptor Chase never really struck me as a playset either, more like a ''we'll give this to the JP fans so they can stop moaning about the lack of sets'' thing
  3. I agree, reading Stonewars' article was almost like reading a checklist of everything we've discussed over the past months regarding DA
  4. I didn't include the lab part itself as it's way too large and weird looking but I did use the stickered computer screen from that set. As @THELEGOBATMAN said I'm not saying @AxolotlPlays's idea is dumb, that wasn't in any way my intention and I hope he/she knows that as I (like anyone else here) would obviously love it if LEGO started selling those dinosaurs at lower pricepoints. What is 'dumb' (which I used for the lack of a better word, in this situation there's nothing wrong with it's use imo) is said idea if you look at it solely from a business perspective, after all LEGO is a business. But there's no need to go into what I did mean as that's already been summed up perfectly by TLB.
  5. I think any version of Ron in Hogwarts clothes would be a wasted spot, excluding polyjuiced Crabbe. The only thing that would be good to get there would be the terrier patronus but I personally wouldn't want to sacrifice one of the final spots for that. We already have more than enough Gryffindor robes and sweaters, to the point of even S2 Neville feeling redundant.
  6. The dinosaurs are the main selling points of the sets, selling them seperately would be a pretty dumb decision from a business pov.
  7. You're really underestimating just how (ridiculously) iconic the Mos Eisley Cantina has become over the years. - It's the first time in the entire Star Wars saga where people really realise just how big the SW universe is thanks to the many alien patrons. - Many of the aforementioned alien patrons became Kenner toys that fans are really nostalgic for (things like Snaggletooth and Hammerhead). - People distinctly remember Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes and the ''cantina song''. - It's the very first time we see a lightsaber in action. - It's one of the most immersive areas we see in the film. And last but not least it's very important to remember these UCS/MBS sets aren't as kid-oriented as the normal sets, these things are for the fans.
  8. Not sure why this never occured to me but remember how a lot of CMF figures are made with past and future sets in mind? Take a look at this pic from DH's Gringotts break-in and then at CMF2 Harry. If they are going for Universal Studios' ''Ironbelly on Gringotts' roof'' thing they could give us these Ron and Hermione variants and let the CMF fill in the gap left by Harry. Or they could reuse that exact CMF figure next year in a seperate Gringotts Escape set
  9. I don't have any inside information regarding DA anymore, I was just echoing something Minilegogo himself said No problem, just wanted to show you how your statement was canonically incorrect The Pottermore articles are very interesting, I'd highly recommend them!
  10. There are Bricklink stores with hundreds of those bananas selling them off for ~40 cents, that's a 38+ cent increase
  11. Wrong: ''The Leaky Cauldron was there long before Charing Cross Road was even planned; it's true adress is number one, Diagon Alley, and it is believed to have been built some time in the early 1500s, along with the rest of the wizarding street.'' - JK Rowling, wizardingworld.com (formerly Pottermore)
  12. The thing they wear around their necks
  13. We know the set is Diagon Alley, Borgin and Burkes isn't in Diagon Alley. Therefore one can say B&B doesn't have a place in this set. I know I'll love it when I get my hands on it but I would prefer a shop that's actually part of DA.
  14. We have no way of knowing wether or not that was real but it's most likely fake as it was way too soon for anything physical too leak. Mid-legs do actually exist in dark grey (Hagrid's hut for example)
  15. It would be pretty weird to save them for the movie in which one of them dies
  16. Not entirely sure but this should at least be the only small Harry
  17. Couple of thoughts regarding this comment: - It's not that weird to shut down ideas if said ideas aren't realistic. - Thinking creatively is fun but it's useless if the results aren't grounded in reality. - Universal is notorious for their poor marketing, there's no guarantee for a ''massive marketing and merchandising blitz''. - Most Jurassic toys and marketing comes from Mattel. - Even if the marketing is big there's no guarentee LEGO will act on it. JP's 25th Anniversary was huge and all we got was 1 medium sized set with poor availability. - Just because the franchise continues on after JWD doesn't mean LEGO will continue pumping out sets, they could cut the line as soon as JWD gets released on DVD. - JWD being the last film of the ''saga'' doesn't mean LEGO will go all out for it. - This wouldn't be the first time producers talk out of their megablocks, especially Jurassic is pretty well known for not delivering on promises and confirmations.
  18. Private messages Same here, at least the Leaky Cauldron actually IS in Diagon Alley. B&B has no place in this set imo.
  19. According to Minilegogo himself this is the only one
  20. It's a nice variant but I'm disappointed as this basically confirms Borgin and Burkes. I'd love to see it someday but B&B really doesn't have a place in this set, like at all....
  21. It's a new Harry variant
  22. And that's not even counting the price increase the inclusion of dinosaur parts would bring with it
  23. According to Minilegogo we're getting another HP leak later today
  24. No offense but having those parts to create a couple of dinosaurs in blind bags isn't a particularly good idea. Besides not knowing what's inside it would also significantly raise the price of the CMF bags to the point of it being ridiculous and piss off people who don't care about the big dinosaurs at all. A Jurassic CMF just isn't happening, as much as we would like to see one
