Just finished watching Season 13 (it's all on YT, english dub) and I've got to say I'm both really happy and impressed. After the abysmal 11th Season / Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu and the mediocrity of Season 12 / Prime Empire I must admit my expectations weren't that high, even with the sets showing off a very interesting setting and cast of characters. Well, I'm glad to say Season 13 is the first truly great season of the 'new' Ninjago. The environment is very interesting, the new characters work and play off each other well and the story itself was mostly well written. I definetely hope we get to see more of the new characters like Vania, the Geckles, the Munce and the Lowly! I must also say this season offers a perfect example of why it's disappointing how each season gets just one wave. I really feel like both the Geckles and Munce are underused in the sets, there's a ton of them and we have only 4 of each. But the additional set I'd like to see most would contain It's just a well made season and I'm looking forward to what the writers come up with for Season 14 (something with the buyer Vangelis mentioned maybe?).

My main problem with Riddle's face being reused is the lack of an alternate face, not the reuse itself. If you know you'll use it on more than just Riddle why put so little effort into it?

I had absolutely no idea Krux and Acronix have become this rare. LEGO should really put them in a Legacy set eventually

I doubt that. I think the main reasons we haven't seen bigfig ghosts is LEGO just not producing translucent bigfig pieces and every big character in HS being so drastically different it would require a ton of new molds, which would then require a lot of budget that Hidden Side may not have. And those bigfigs would also skyrocket the prices for these sets to a point where a lot less people would be interested in them.

The CMF's aren't produced in the same factories as the normal sets (at least not when HP S1 came out). The ginger Han Solo hair for the CMF was therefore a limited run and not available for sets, happens all the time with exclusive recolors and molds for CMF series. The recolored green flames are used in every single Ninjago S13 set and only 1 Harry Potter set. It being recolored for 6 sets using Ninjago's budget is much more likely than the same thing happening for 1 set using HP's budget. And even if the recolor stems from HP's budget it's not a licensed piece, it's been around for ages.

So we all thought we could definetely rule out Clouse as the Skull Sorcerer after seeing the set but according to the Ninjago wiki the painting included in the Skull Sorcerer's Dungeon is one of Hazza D'ur, the original Skull Sorcerer. While the current Skull Sorcerer (the one we see in the show) is a different character using the same echanted skull as D'ur before him.

We know basically nothing about the set itself and there are dozens of designers they could've assigned this project to, as long as we haven't seen it guessing is pointless I don't think that would've made a difference, there are quite a few molds that were introduced to represent a specific thing in a licensed theme that were later reused in other themes. Uruk Hai sword, Mysterio's helmet, Caps shield, Mjolnir etc

Anyone has a chance at getting them (if there even are exclusives) this year, not even remotely close to everyone will be able to get them

We know the minifigure departments didn't reference each other at least one time with the Fallen Kingdom and Infinity War waves. FK introduced the current Owen Grady head, which just screams 'CHRIS PRATT' but the Infinity War sets just used the old and less accurate 2015 head for some reason Wouldn't surprise me if they don't, we're not supposed to know about this stuff yet after all

I hope so, the Park trilogy has pretty much been ignored by LEGO so far. I'm all for World sets but I'd take JP1-3 sets over the made-up ones we're getting now any day
