  1. If the CMF releases on August 7th (I know many don't think it's happening but given Brickshops past I choose to give them the benefit of the doubt) it should be revealed next week at the latest. That would leave more than enough room for the D2C to get it's own seperate reveal. I think the 3 main reveals we'll get in the coming 3 weeks will be for the HP CMF, Diagon Alley and an Ideas set.
  2. I honestly don't know, just know they will no longer be available come 2021
  3. I definetely agree with this, Marcos Bessa and Justin Ramsden are definetely in my top 3 designers!
  4. Here's at least some more recent work, if you want to see more just check Twitter
  5. We just got our very first teaser for DA:
  6. And 1 hour later the exact same useless discussion starts in this thread
  7. It's an edit made by the same friend who created that LEGO Stegosaurus mockup
  8. I'd be very carefull with this statement if I where you as minifigures aren't always representive of wether or not a set is good. As a massive Jurassic fan I was incredibly hyped for last years Jurassic Park D2C, especially when those 4 amazing figures leaked. But whaddya know? The set was revealed and turned out to be one of the worst D2Cs ever released Like I said I didn't actually look into how well the Knight Bus sold but thanks for the correction anyway. I do think it's a bit weird to discontinue it this year though, especially with Diagon Alley coming out. As soon as we heard the KB would be a set last year I planned on skipping it, the only reason I am even slightly thinking about buying it is DA
  9. If they modified the baby Raptor mold a bit they make it work for a Compy: The inaccuracies with the Baryonyx aren't as bad as many say they are, in the end it still looks like a Baryonyx and that's what matters. What @Balrogofmorgoth is referring to is the Gallimimus polybag LEGO released in 2015 alongside LEGO Jurassic World: The Videogame. In said polybag they reused a Coelophysis from the Dino theme and called it a Gallimimus.
  10. When sets are retired they will no longer be produced. You might still find the sets in stores months after that but they will no longer get restocked by LEGO's factories. The HP sets on that list do actually make a lot of sense: - The 2018 sets have had their run, they can't keep them forever - The Horntail set didn't sell all that well, I think we all know why - The Beauxbatons Carriage is a very niche set, most people who wanted it already have it and the sets are now gathering dust - The graveyard makes sense as the smallest sets are usually the first ones to go, just look at the 2018 Aragog set Haven't really looked into the Knight Bus but afaik it wasn't a particularly strong seller.
  11. Imo the build isn't all that great, the figures are meh at best and the only great thing in the entire set is the Trike itself.
  12. The ''disappointing news'' is Hidden Side coming to an end, nothing for us. And let's be real here, anyone who didn't think HS would be ending soon was fooling themselves
  13. I wouldn't worry too much, wouldn't be the first time he did something like this for something completely unrelated
  14. Not if it sold well, afaik it's the best selling 2019 Jurassic set
  15. Thanks to Stonewars we now have the EOL (End Of Life) list for 2020. These are the Marvel sets that'll be retiring this year, get them while you can! https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-end-of-life-eol-2020/#lego-marvel-super-heroes
  16. Thanks to Stonewars we now have the EOL (End Of Life) list for 2020. These are the Jurassic sets that'll be retiring this year, get them while you can! 75931 - Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack 75934 - Dilophosaurus on the Loose 75937 - Triceratops Rampage 75938 - T.Rex vs Dino-Mech Battle
  17. Even though the game itself is so-so I'd love to see sets based on it. But looking at LEGO Jurassics past I doubt they'll use it's potential, they're not even making use of TLW and JP3 The crew (or at least Sam Neill) is already back in quarantine because of the virus, I've been saying it from the beginning and it looks like I was right: this movie shouldn't have started filming yet. Imo they should just push the movie to either december 2021 or june 2022. As a Jurassic fan there are only 2 things that are very important to me when it comes to JWD: 1. The movie is the best it can possibly be (which FK wasn't) 2. The movie doesn't put tons of people at risk just so it releases on schedule
  18. Well the algorithm pleads not guilty! Wait what?
  19. Sure, just don't use it too long. According to the algorithm itself there's a good chance your brain will explode if you let it run for too long because of the inability of the human brain to hold that much info that's so real and so reliable, it's quite literally mindblowing But unlike the Hogwarts Founders Florean Fortescue would be a really weird person to select for a small selection of figures to represent Diagon Alley in it's entirety.
  20. It's an estimation we made based on the price
  21. But then it's definetely worth discussing, according to my ORATR algorithm (Obviously Real And Totally Reliable) there's a chance Hermione won't be in next years sets
  22. Yeah that's the one. I'm not a big train fan either, the only reason I know this torso comes from that set is because it's a lazy reuse of Alan Grant's torso and I'm a big Jurassic fan (you can even see some flesh printing right above the red scarf).
  23. It's a reuse of the Alan Grant torso but with yellow hands, I believe it comes in the new locomotive set
  24. Nope, Jurassic Park is my favorite film of all time so there's no way I'd break that down I did however change the computers to more accurate looking designs made by a friend of mine.
  25. It's definetely weird and it's been annoying me for quite some time. Just pick one style and go for it, only deviate from it if absolutely necessary. One thing you'd also have to consider when it comes to single dinosaurs is Mattel. I don't know how it's all handled legally but just assuming Mattel doesn't have an ''all-inclusive'' deal like Hasbro has/had for Marvel and Star Wars I definetely think it would get to similar to their products. And that would also bring the problem of ''pointless'' competition. If LEGO starts selling their T-Rex's (for example) seperately they'd still cost about 20-25 euro, for that same price you can also purchase a Mattel dinosaur which (admittedly) has a ton more playvalue than LEGO's dinosaurs and are also bigger. Just some thoughts
